The season finale airs Sunday at 12:45 PM Eastern. I think the ratings are decent enough to be picked up for another season, but its up to AS.

Are you serious? The ratings for this show are terrible.
I distinctly remember Superjail being in that Highest AS Telecasts bump.

An appropriately crazy ending to a crazy show. It was actually kind of sweet (if a bit short-sighted) that Alice, Jared, and Jailbot all missed working at Superjail, and wanted to return.
If this ever gets picked up for a second season (if it hasn't already; I haven't really been paying attention), I'd like to see them mess with the formula a little bit. Most episodes this season have had the same basic story type: The Warden makes a change to Superjail -> things spiral out of control -> violent mayhem for the last 2-3 minutes.
I like the show, but if they don't change things up a bit, I could see myself quickly tiring of it, even if the visuals keep to the same quality.

I'm with Speedy Boris: Like Moral Orel did in it's second season I want to see the formula messed around with more. Especially considering there's only so much more straight out gore they can do like that anyway. As for the ep itself...
I think there are only a couple of good times when you're allowed to break down and screw any of the little precious continuity you're show has been allowed to acquire: dream episodes and time travel episodes since everything's suppose to go all to hell for those. We've seen the full effects of the dream ep and now we get to see the full affects of Superjail's trip to the future, past, present and uh... pretty much anywhere out of time actually. What resolted was some pretty good stuff with the crew (I liked Jared's various jobs, Jail Bot becoming a visit at the house of tommorow and getting vengence on the kid who was picking on him, The twins having to do gay porn and the Warden taking a key and using it to save the other warden) as well as the inmates creating a... half bird paradise of some sort. Yeah I always knew that little bird from his intro would end up doing something but making everyone go feathery and get bird ****s jammed into them? didn't see that? Or the whole temporal distortion causing everything prom previous eps (the hot female prisioners, the children prisioners, the giant bug creatures, the battle robot of the twins and various other things) coming together when the universe was destroyed and everything turning into... soup. Guess I shouldn't of expected too much of a sensical end but I guess the question isn't how Superjail will get out of this. The real question is will there be more of Superjail. The show has proven to be quite the animation feast (and the writing here was better then in some other eps actually) but will it be the ratings feast needed for a second season? I hope so if the staff can think of stuff that can actually top these last 10 eps which probably wouldn't be impossible though if there was any show that I would wait to see more animated just because it looks so good it'd be this. Overall pretty solid ending despite the mindscrew to a pretty solid show that despite being fairly mindscrewing at points and defintley a more visual expierence then most AS comedies was defintley worth checking out.

Again, second Speedy Boris
Very few Adult Swim shows ever don't get a second season (or at least 20 episodes). My guess is we'll see another 10 episodes
