Whoa, did Toon Zone just get a redesign?

For those who miss the small green dots as opposed to the Giant Orange Pills, my forum still has 'em....but that's more due to it getting skipped.

I'd rather switch between buttons than theme/backround at this point

look at the CN and [AS] Boards! They buttons look messed up there

also, why wasn't this done at a time when no one would be on? Doing a redesign during peak hours isn't a smart idea..

I had a hard time getting to the forums at first because the ad billboard was right in front of the menu.

Cafe Toon Zone looks pretty much the same. The rest of it is different, not really worse, mind you. I'm not too crazy about the extra wide screen, but I guess I can get used to it.

The buttons make me feel like I'm playing Dr. Mario. :p And the online/offline button looks too busy. Do we need to button to be a different color, have a check on it and actually say "on"? The bright green dot was easy to understand and right to the point.

I really don't care for the huge "ON/OFF" next to the names. (EDIT: The On/Off is bigger than my name >_>) I love all of the fall colors, though.

Let's pray that it eventually leads to the Cartoon Network banner finally being updated.

The main board is fine, but at least to me, the Entertainment board is hard to look at. The dark-blue thread titles seem to bleed into the purple background and make things are to see. :sad:

i think purple text and blue backround was an accident. Meaning it was just suppossed to be on the general board or the main page and somehow got everything changed..

You can still do that. Go to User cp, edit options, and pick vertical postbit at the bottom of the page.

That's still an option. Go to "User CP" at the bottom left corner of the bar above the forum, then go to "Edit Options" and scroll to the very bottom... change "Postbit Template Selection" to Vertical instead of Horizontal. I just did today, and it looks much better, especially on the new look.

I'm just curious: do all of the people designing this site use vertical postbit? Between the On/Off buttons and the Friend of Toon Zone badge, which both look awful in horizontal, I'm beginning to suspect that's the case...
