Vincent looks like zangetsu from bleach, what do u guys think, and urryo, looks like JIN from samurai champloo, maybe the producer of bleach was inspired b them! who knows! THESE PICS WHERE THE BEST I COULD FIND ON THE NET, BUT WHEN U SEE THEM ANIMATED U GET WHAT I MEAN BY THE RECEMBLANCE!

this is one of the main reasons why i don't like anime anymore, as i get older and i learn more about animation and character designs from my 2d animation course i see anime for what it really is: a big copy of a copy of a copy of a copy. They get less and less original every year, in terms of both story and art.
Everything looks like it was drawn by the same guy and a lot of artists are too afraid to go outside of the box and actually draw something original.

Whoa, I didn't even notice that Vincent/Zangetsu one. That's almost kind of creepy. I don't know how I hadn't seen that distinction before.

No, you're seeing Bleach for what it really is.

That's what you get in a shounen series. Swords and Yaoi are mandatory for the most part as a constant hit.

With obligatory fan service, yup.

bleach predates samurai shamploo by 3 years, so maybe jin was inspired by uryu

Ishida looks like a lot of characters really... Especially like an older slightly longer faced Ken Ichijoji, yes I realize the humor in him and Ishida having the same VA.

And people adores this stuff? I mean, I'm not saying it's bad but.. to quote Shonen Jump's BoBoBo-Bo Bo-BoBo, "MAJIDE?!"

I've noticed that in a lot of anime there's always the one guy with the glasses. Just when he's finishing up a sentence or about to attack his glasses always become super reflective and he pushes them up a bit. It never fails. :c

The producer has nothing to do with how the characters look. That's up to Kubo.
