For those who watch classic episodes of The Flintstones, one of the show's writers happens to be the patriarch of the famous Howard family. On that note, may we wish Rance Howard a very happy birthday. In addition to writing select episodes of The Flintstones, he's also appeared in various feature films(and television programs), some of which were directed by his son, legendary director Ron Howard, and some of Ron's films also included his late wife, Jean as well as his other son, veteran character actor Clint Howard. Getting back to The Flintstones, some of Fred and Barney's lines in select episodes were written by Rance Howard, so in addition to wishing him a happy birthday, we also must commend him for his contributions as one of the writers on The Flintstones. I wonder how Fred and Barney would pronounce his name in Bedrock, especially on his birthday? Nonetheless, happy birthday to Flintstones writer, Rance Howard.
