Has anybody noticed that on all of the Looney Tunes: Golden Collections that none of the first discs had any black and white cartoons? For the first four ti makes sense, since they were all-Bugs discs, and Bugs Bunny didn't star in any black and white cartoons. But then volume 5 disc 1 was a Bugs and Daffy disc, yet no black and white daffy Duck cartoons were included, and volume 6 disc 1 was an all-stars disc yet no black and white cartoons were featured there.

That's probably because those discs would be used for the Spotlight Collections, and little kids obviously don't like anything that's not color...

Actually, the first two Spotlight Collections had the entire contents of the thrid and fourth discs of the Golden Collections (ironic, considering that discs 3 and 4 of volume 2 had the only black and white cartoons on that set). After the Movie Collection (depending on whether you'd count that as part of the Spotlight Collection), the Spotlight Sets started having the content of other discs and not just the last two discs. I don't actually own any of the Spotlight Collections, so I don't know if the 3rd/4th Spotlight* or 4/5th one was the first to have a different disc (I'm willing to bet it was the 3rd/4th one, since on the fourth Golden Collection, Bugs only appeared on disc 1), but I have read that the last few Spotlight Collections did replace a number of politically incorrect Looney Tunes shorts that would have been on the discs.
*Obviously, I refer to them as 3rd/4th and 4/5th since I don't know if Warner officially counts the Movie Collection as a Spotlight Collection. I think the sets do refer to post-Movie Collection sets as volumes 4, 5, and 6.
