Guess what's in the latest issue of Nickelodeon magazine?

That's right! An advertisement for the new Johnny Test DVDs! The show was horrible when it started, it was horrible when the constant reruns started, and the top DVD priority over Foster's, Billy and Mandy, and the Eds is just revolting. I sent this news to Toon Zone, but they apparantly didn't want to put it on the front page.

December 23rd? Just in time for Christmas! Imagine the look on a child's face after recieving a TV show that they can watch nearly any dang time they want on the television, whether or not they liked this show!

CN isn't in charge of the DVDs, Cookie Jar is.
And Johnny Test will probably be gone by next year, replaced by CN's newest flavor of the week.

I'm guessing this flavor of the week will be either Total Drama Island or The Clone Wars.
No, by flavor of the week I mean those KidsWB acquisitions that CN parades around and then forgets about a year later, like Ozzy & Drix, or Xiaolin Showdown.

Well thing is there isn't any more technical KidsWB acquisitions anymore since 4Kids owns that block and they're all CW 4Kids blocks. And they already have the latest acquistion from that (Skunk Fu) while Johnny Test is going strong. I do agree it won't last too long though: Most of the acquistions appeal only lasted as long as the series was on or for even shorter and none of them have had a long staying power (besides Pokemon since it still has new episodes going. And I guess Yu-Gi-Oh did last a few years but that also had a long section of eps as well. And GX did premiere here before coming to 4Kids. I'm sure 5D will come to CN for awhile next year as well). Johnny Test is still doing well though so I'm sure that at least the first DVDs will do decently though I do hope the popularity dosen't last too much longer. There really isn't any appeal in the show, espically in the later seasons when the animation lost it's appeal and the characters got slightly more annoying from what I've noticed from watching some eps of the show.

Maybe they'll replace it with Viva Pinata(Yeah, they made a show)..or maybe not.And they still have romance dances on the show, not that I watch it  or, maybe CN will chicken out thinking the romance dance is a reference to sex?

I am shocked and sickened, not by it releasing a DVD, but for being popular enough for consideration.

There's a reason why CN airs Johnny Test so much.

Well, it isn't really Front Page news material.

Fans love to know when a show they like has been released on DVD.

But it still isn't Front Page news, since it doesn't have much of a fanbase that actually posts here.

Just because you personally don't like a show doesn't mean it's not popular; CN reruns Johnny Test ad nausea for a reason, after all, and contrary to popular belief, that reason is not just to screw with people. Maybe JT doesn't have that many older fans, but those people aren't CN's target audience; the 8-year-olds who do enjoy the show are, and they're the ones that CN cares about. Furthermore, it's not like anyone's forcing you to buy the smegging thing. Sorry, but it just seems to me that you simply look for any opportunity you can to slam the show.
Anyways, yeah, this really isn't big news, especially considering that this isn't even the first DVD release of JT.

The main (if not only) reason why Johnny Test gets so much hate in this forum is because Test gets too many airings (sometimes as many as 5 or 6 airings in a single day) on Cartoon Network. If CN didn't run Test so often during the week, I doubt that many fans here would even care about it.

I hated this show before the maximum reruns.

^Thank you for proving my point.
If you don't like Johnny Test, just don't watch it. Simple. Spewing a ton of bile about the show isn't going to make it go away. I never saw the point of hate threads like this.

I'm no fan of Johnny Test either, but as long you're not being tied to a chair in front of a TV with your eyelids taped open, being forced to watch Johnny Test at gunpoint, I don't see why you can't simply ignore the show.
Speaking of DVDs, I saw the ad for Chowder vol. 1 and it looks pretty good. The cover art looks nice (A picture of Chowder through the perspective of the kitchen's oven just like the intro) and there's going to be a sweepstakes to get your name on TV during the new episode two weeks from now. I also saw an ad for Panini For President / Season 2.
