1. Kindly refrain from typing entire posts in all caps. It's the net equivalent to shouting, which is considered rude and annoying.

2. It's Cartoon Network, not 'Cartoonnetwork'. Two words, not one.

3. I don't work at CN, so I can't say for sure. If there's a high enough demand for KND, they could conceivably show the reruns, if they choose to, though releasing the series on video seems more likely. As for Ed3, there's a TV-movie forthcoming; AKA Cartoon chose to do a movie in lieu of another season, since they're a small company and lack the time and energy to do both.

Probably not, considering CN hates showing canceled shows. We might see the whole show put on CN Video like Billy and Mandy, though.

I would honestly say that they are not coming back anytime soon. However we may just be lucky and it will come back the way Courage did;)

I'm pretty sure you can still see some KND episodes on CN Video.

Well canceled shows not called Courage the Cowardly Dog anyway.

Yeah that always struck me as weird: Out of all of the Older Cartoon Network shows they could bring back, why Courage? Is it because of the Scooby like Syndrome of having scaredy dogs around or do they think that they should of have freaky/sort of "scary" cartoon on at all points of the network? Courage never reached the popularity of some of the other more original Cartoon Cartoons but seems to be the only one shown regulary nowadays. It proves (very slightly) they aren't completley trashing 100% of they're history but it's still a weird choice.

On KND, Yeah I'm sure that like Billy and Mandy you'll see the full series on Cartoon Network Video. Out of all of the Cartoon Network originals that one does fit the "kids rule" mentality the most so I'm sure CN won't get rid of it permantley. At least at this point of time anyway.

They don't even show promos for the Ed, Edd n Eddy movie yet which is disapointing. I mean when is that even coming out? Normally they'd shelve out tons of promos for big shows like these. Its so sad when Cartoon Network just doens't care about there old shows like these.

Peter Cullen and Steve Blum don't do any work for CN anymore, you notice?

You heard any Ninja Tune tracks lately?

Other than Courage, have you seen any classic CN cartoons pre-2007 airing in a remotely decent timeslot or at ALL?

Have you noticed that YAH, in presentation, style, and music, is the opposite of the deceased Toonami in every way?

Have you noticed that DAS is getting only toygetic stuff and reruns?

Have you noticed that AS has been shafting their classic cartoons as well? They barely gave the retro night a chance.

Everything pre-Snyder, whether policy, voice, show, music, or presentation, is getting tossed off the network regardless of it being good or not. This may be good, this may be bad, but its the way it is.

I heard Cullen a couple weeks ago, advertising Alien Force season 2.

Snyder may be throwing everything old in the trash, but I think the network in general has improved since he stepped in, in both quality and in ratings.

Would you honestly want the Cartoon Network from several years ago (disregarding Toonami)?

That was an old ad they had been airing since August.

I think the network has improved as well, but it has done a great many blows to my heart since then. I like Foster's, I liked EEE, I liked KND, I liked B&M. I don't see why they all had to be canceled, leaving CN with barely any original programs still running. While Underfist wasn't that great, it had its moments, and I feel annoyed that I never saw a single ad for it. Needless to say, I also like Naruto and One Piece and have been heavily disappointed by Naruto's recent haphazard treatment and I don't think I need to add anything for One Piece. I also feel disappointed that CN chose not to pick up Gundam 00, which I think would have, at the very least, been a great one-two punch with Clone Wars.

I want the network as it is now with the Toonami of spring 2004-spring 2006 (quality-wise), without as much repetition of currently airing programs, and action cartoons airing in better timeslots. That isn't much to ask.

They could easily have Transformers: Animated, Ben 10: AF, Storm Hawks, Robotboy, Pokemon and Samurai Jack airing on weekday afternoons to break up the comedy monotony. I don't understand why they don't try that and see if it works. What do they have to lose? I'd like to see Naruto back on weeknights, One Piece airing again, and Moribito getting a rescue, but I'm probably reaching way too damn far there.

I saw ads for Underfist many times. I guess this was a case where when you tuned in to CN, they didn't show it.

As for Gundam 00, its clear that after SEED failed, CN was done with Gundam. Adult Swim wouldn't show Gundam because they felt it was for Toonami, and CN didn't want another Gundam series again.

I suppose so. I tend to be selective when I watch the channel so I'm probably watching at the wrong time.

Gundam 00 is as close as you can get to a remake of Gundam Wing, and seems custom-built for Western audiences as well in storytelling, politics, and characters. It is extremely different from SEED, and has an intense, fast-paced plotline. They even dropped the electronic/pop OPs, EDs, and insert songs that were Gundam hallmarks since Gundam Wing and instead use rock artists. Not all Gundams are alike, and I'm disappointed that CN did not see that.

As long as they are willing to air old shows at all, we have every right to hope for a couple more oldies down the line.

I made a thread about that a while back, it's supposedly because they brought it back for a test run and it did well, so they brought it back. They tried a similar test run with Johnny Bravo, which failed, so they didn't try it again, though I think one test run isn't enough to decide it's popularity. But had the Bravo run done well, we might've had Bravo on right now too.

About KND, it's pretty much hopeless. I wish it would come back too, and I even thought that they'd eventually put it back on as they transitioned into Fall, but I guess I was wrong. They should be airing it, it didn't even end a year ago. But there's one key point that controls this factor. When Snyder (and Sorcher) entered CN, they are for the most part wiping out CN's entire past in order to start afresh and anew with a clean slate. That means old shows, old blocks, you name it. Whether it be a year old or 10 years old, they're moving forward to revamp the networks image. I'm surprised that they're even keeping Tom and Jerry and Scooby-Doo, but I might just have jinxed it. Foster's and Eds will most likely return soon to finish themselves off, because CN's not getting rid of either one at least unti they're done. And I'm sure now that Billy and Mandy will also leave, and that the only thing to hold its memory will be Underfist, if they choose to make a sequel. As for the shows being cancelled, I don't disagree with that. Shows can't last forever. 3 out of the 4 shows that should be airing (Foster's, KND, EEnE, B&M) reached the 78 episode limit and had good, popular runs, meanwhile the one series (EEnE) that didn't reach the limit was CN's longest running series. Al 4 have been treated pretty well up until now. But shows end, nothing in the world of TV lasts forever, especially when it comes to cartoons. But I do believe that reruns should be aired, a series doesn't have to be new to be shown on the network. But once more, that's the approach that Snyder and Sorcher are taking. And like Macattack said, it could be good, and it could be bad, but so far it's good for the most part, with a few noticeable bumps along the way. But while they're getting rid of all of the physical parts of their past, I feel like the new execs are reintroducing the spirit of old CN. With Cartoonstitute, What A Cartoon!'s idea is reformed and edgier shows for an older audience is becoming acceptable once again. So though I got a little off topic, it all comes down to the fact that CN is really moving forward and that KND and other shows most likely are not a part of that plan. However, that doesn't mean that some awesome stuff that might be just as good isn't around the corner.
