I'm going to do the incredibley incredibley nerdy thing and list the reason why in each episode since doing lists is fun... sort of.

1. Not so Happy Campers (Part 1): Introductory Episode, no one was voted off
2. Not so Happy Campers (Part 2): Members of the Screaming Gophers (which Heather was on before teams were disbanded) got immunity for winning the challenge.
3. The Big Sleep: Screaming Gopher Immunity
4. DodgeBrawl: Actually did try help organizing the team here and actually tried particpating unlike know it all Noah which earned him the unanimous boot.
5. Not Quite Famous: Should of been voted off for embarassing Gwen and being the only one not to get a positive score in the talent compettion, but got her alliance of Linsday and Beth (plus the easily tricked Izzy and Owen) to vote off Justin instead of her.
6. The Sucky Outdoors: Screaming Gopher Immunity
7. Phobia Factor: Screaming Gopher Immunity.
8. Up the Creek: Didn't really do anything worthy of getting voted off unlike Izzy who gave the Killer Gophers advice which allowed them to win the event.
9)Paintball Deer Hunter: Would of been voted off but due to Cody being injured he became much more of a commodity for the team to complete any more challenges
10)If You Can't Take the Heat: Would of been voted off but Beth revealed she took a Tiki statue off the cursed island, giving the Gophers bad luck which made them vote her off instead of Heather.
11)Who Can You Trust: Screaming Gopher Immunity
12)Basic Straining: Screaming Gopher Immunity
13)X-Treme Torture: Screaming Gopher Immunity
14)Brunch of Disgustingness: No One Was Voted Off This Week.
15. No Pain, No Game: Though at least a couple people tried voting her off, was voted over for Eva since her psychotic behavior and lust for revenge made the campers dislike her awhole lot more then Heather.
16. Search and Do Not Destroy: Gets Invincibility (from finding it in the treasure chest) and can't be voted off.
17. Hide and Be Sneaky: Gets Invicbility helping Chef catch DJ and Owen.
18. That's Off The Chain: Gets invinciblity by coming in first place in the final bike race.
19. Hook, Line And Screamer: Was the third victim of the "killer" and lost any chance for invicinbilty but this was one of those "whoever did the worst looses" challenges and DJ did the worst for running and screaming without even seeing the Killer.
20. Wawanaka Gone Wild: Though she didn't win and was one of the only contenstants not to catch they're prey (along with Izzy) was not voted off due to everyone wanting to (presumbaly) see her clean the bathrooms as the last place contenstant. Also had an alliance with Duncan that probably saved her as well.

IMHO the last two eps are really the only ones she really should of lost but didn't for some reason or another. The reason she's been around though is due to actually sneakiness, backstabbing and betrayal actually getting you through a reality show pretty far. How far it goes is unknown (except to those who saw the rest of the eps) but except to see a bit more of that saving her more then anything else in these remaining six episodes of the show.

Heather's most likely going to get into the final 3; I mean it's been set up for a long time now, ever since she made her first alliance and promised them positions in the final 3 (read: she was always planning on just her getting in.)

She'll get her karma payback soon enough. She's there because she's the jerk character and the main character that causes all of this drama on Total Drama Island. I seriously doubt that she'll win though. Personally, I'm hoping for Gwen to win, but I'd be happy with anyone who isn't Heather.

Sure, Heather may deserve to be kicked off, but she also makes the show a lot more fun to watch. I mean, imagine if the five people left on the island were Owen, Trent, Beth, Bridgette, and Justin. Sure, they're all nice people, but there wouldn't be much conflict between them. Heather adds that delicious spice that, if taken out, would make the meal taste more bland.

The latest episode gave the real reason Heather's on the show now: The Contenstans are starting to really play for keeps and realizing that the finals are right around the corner. The rule for any reality show like Survivor is that the person who ends up winning is picked by the contenstants who have been voted off choosing who the winner we'll be. Thus whoever is the most likeable and got along the most with the previous contenstants will be the one who will be picked. i'm pretty sure everyone else realizes now that won't be Heather since she's mean to everyone but they have to make sure that they pick out other people who would have a chance more of winning if it came down to who the finals are. That's the reason why Duncan teamed up with Heather: If it came down to a choice between him and her, people would defintley choose him, but say between him and anyone else left it probably wouldn't be him. In this show nice guys don't finish last but they won't win if they don't know how to play the game, thus why Heather won't be voted off until the final finals probably.

No-did she immunity before then? Why wasn't she booted of when she read Gwen's diary in the talent show?

That's because she got people to vote off Justin instead of her. From how Chris worded it in that ep he said you could only vote off "your favorite loser" in other words the three contenstants so Heather got Beth and Lindsay (on her alliance) Izzy (who was crazy enough to be convinced into voting for him) and Owen (bribing him with a piece of cake) to vote for Justin when everyone else probably voted for her. Personally I always found the math somewhat off on that: If Heather's included that means that 5 people voted for Justin. However there were 10 campers at the time which means there could of been 5 votes against Heather which means that it would of been a tie and probably Chris's decision to pull whoever off (and considering he disliked Heather's diary reading move he may of wanted her off at that point). Which means either someone voted for someone else besides Heather or there was some error in the voting.
