I'm saying Geoff if only because of the fact that there he's the only not to have a "Message From Home" (the made for CN skits of videos of relatives/friends of the various contestants wishing them luck) about him. I don't know how exactly but I'm guessing him just for that fact. And because I really don't see the party due really going much farther. Maybe if this was Real World Island or Total Drama... Outback (you know cause of the hat) but not here.

Geoff has nothing much to do. Either him or LeShawna.

If what you're saying is true, then CN isn't very good at keeping secrets, huh?

Well they are sometimes (as most of the TDI promos actually don't tell you the most interesting/surprising part about the epiosde or if they do don't spoil exactly what it is) but othertimes they are not. The Har Har Thursday actual mini little interestials for the show are quite ladened with spoils that shouldn't be seen (which is why I try ignoring them) and the "Viewers From Home" could be the same thing, espically considering that after whoever is voted off in this episode will mean we're only left with five campers.

And if you read the episode titles on CartoonNetwork.com for the episodes it hints we're not getting a "regular" episode next time around, indicating the final five is the last cut off point for the show.

So yeah he's got my vote. Unlike Izzy last week I don't know whether or not for sure but he's the one I'm guessing.

Well...the preview during the credits pretty much killed this theory.

Besides, there are already going to be at least two more seasons, so no need for that.

It makes sense at this point, since everyone already knows that if Heather makes it to the final 2 or 3, the older campers will vote against her. It would be a waste to get rid of her anymore.

That's what I was refering to though: Next week isn't going to be a "regular" episode. And by that I mean one where the remaining campers compete in a challenge and one of them get voted off. Next week is the one people here have been hinting at where we see what happened to the losers who've already been voted off Total Drama Island. Which means we're taking a week break from seeing someone else get voted off to instead focus time on those who already have which will have something to do with the remaining campers. I knew of that which is why I said these five are the cut off point: not only due to the fact they're the one with the "videos from home" message but also the ones who weren't voted out before we checked back to see how the remaining campers are doing. That's something of a cut off point you know so no that didn't kill the theory: just explained it. Or rather I explained it now or something.

I thought Geoff would be the next to leave based off the fact he was the only one of the six not to have that video from home, but I didn't think it'd be because all the campers wheels finally started turning about nice, popular guys getting the vote from those who weren't so popular. I like how they're all started gearing towards thinking of the finale (with Heather trying to seem nice to those who were left even though it was obvious she couldn't even keep it for more then a minute) and now voting off those who are the most compettion to them. Which I think means Gwen might be the next to go unless she steps up her mean game some. I have to also say the Gwen/Geoff friendship bonding was nice and a good look at what happens when you try breaking down people from they're cliches and actually making them deeper characters which kind of makes me sad to see Geoff go but hey I did think he'd go anyway so I was prepared to hear that. Besides that and Owen standing up to Heather (I almost expected him to slug her when she started talking smack about Izzy, and I doubt anyone here would of objected to that) the best part here was the continuity: The mention of everyone who had been voted off (even the two mentions of Eva and Izzy), Leshawna hearing from Courtney about Duncan being nice (wonder when she did tell them though espically since she was one of those who didn't want to fraternize with the enemy and all), the return of Boney Island, and the chalelnge of everyone having to put the heads in order at the end (probably easier to do for those who have been paying attention and haven't been shackled together or something). So overall another solid TDI.

Next Week: The epsiode that's been talked about for awhile: Seeing what the other campers have been up to once they leave the boat of losers and what this has to do with the final five remaining. Should be good. Though I do hope we spend a good amount of time to those who barley got developed in this ep (no offense to Lindsay or anything but we've seen a lot of her throughout the run of the show. How about seeing more of Noah, Justin or even Ezekiel now that we have the chance?).

This was a really sweet episode. Bonding between Gwen and Geoff, Duncan and LeShawnna, and even some Heather-Owen moments.

Two things about this episode:
1)How did the camera crew record Owens dream?
2)How did the campers get their life preservers on?

I really, Really liked this episode.

Retrospective!

Geoff: The Party Dude

1)Not so Happy Campers (Part 1): Geoff arrives on Total Drama Island, and is placed on the Killer Bass.
2)Not so Happy Campers (Part 2): Geoff tries to encourage his team to winning the challenge (with little succes). First person on the show to recieve a marshmellow.
3)The Big Sleep: Nothing worth mentioning
4)DodgeBrawl: Nothing worth mentioning.
5)Not Quite Famous: Auditions with his skateboard routine, but cannot preform due to destruction of said skateboard.
6)The Sucky Outdoors: Nothing worth mentioning.
7)Phobia Factor: Geoff is unable to conquer his fear of hail.
8)Up the Creek: Geoff makes a macaroni sculpture for Bridgette. It backfires, causing Geoff to seek love adive from his friend, DJ. Get's grievously injured, rekindling his relationship with Bridgette.
9)Paintball Deer Hunter: Nothing much
10)If You Can't Take the Heat: Geoff becomes head chef, and chooses an italian theme.
11)Who Can You Trust: Geoff and Bridgette successfully complete their first trust challenge. Their affection for each other grows. On the other hand, DJ's bunny gets eaten under Geoff's care. Geoff lies to DJ about this.
12)Basic Straining: Nothing worth mentioning.
13)X-Treme Torture: Geoff reveals that he has a tatoo.
14)Brunch of Disgustingness: Nothing worthy of note.
15)No Pain, No Game: Geoff takes Bridgettes torture. Unfortunatly, he cannot last the full ten seconds, causing him to lose the challenge.
16)Search and Do Not Destroy: Nothing much.
17)Hide and Be Sneaky: Geoff joins a boys alliance. Much controversy arises out of whether Geoff voted off Bridgette or not.
18)That's off the Chain!: Geoff is upset about the loss of Bridgette. Names his bike after her.
19)Hook, Line, and Screamer: Nothing worth Mentioning.
20)Wawanakwa Gone Wild: Nothing worthy of note
21)Trial By Tri-Armed Triathalon-Geoff is paired up with Gwen, and completes the Bony Island challenge. Despite this, Geoff is voted off.

Analysis: Geoff was always willing to help out. Even in the second episode, he takes over the team and encourages them to win (Also see "If You Can't Take the Heat"). I don't think Geoff ever said anything bad to anybody (though he did ocasionally bully Harold). Geoff was never really hated by any other charachter either. Unfortunatly, that's what really got him voted off.

8 out of 10 in the Camp-o-meter for stepping up to the plate every time he could.
9 out of 10 in popularity. Geoff was a friend to everyone.

One last note: I laughed when I found out what really happened to that Tiki Idol, and I thought it was good continuity.

The mock taboled commercials gave us hints of what is going on with the losers, this kind of kills the imagination.

The next episode will be fun, but this episode was fun as well. Owen losing is cool at the end, that was great.

And that makes five campers remaining.
Highlights for this week:
-Owen's disturbing dream.
-Chris being more sadistic as ever.
-Every two campers handcuffed to each other.
-LeShawna force-feeding Duncan.
-Heather having to be stuck in the bathroom with Owen. Even sharing the confessional.
-Courtney told LeShawna about Duncan's soft side. Never trust Courtney with a secret.
-Beth flushed the cursed doll down the septic tank instead of returning it to Boney Island.
-Geoff getting Gwen to loosen up.
-The wooden sculture heads of the voted off campers.
-Chris' remark about Duncan carving Courtney's wooden head sculture.
-Heather tempting Owen to get the Whip Key.
-Chris being half comatose.
-Owen's big rant of Heather and her respecting him for that.
-Geoff's gone. It's true though, aside from picking on Harold in previous episodes, he was the nicest guy in the group.

Damage to Heather:
-Handcuffed to Owen. That's gotta be torture.
-Having to be in the bathroom with Owen when he had to do his business.
-Having to hear Owen talk bad about her.

Dialouge Edits:
-In the recap, Chris originally said "Though, everybody else helped...by sucking!" instead of "Though, everybody else helped...by stinking!"
-Originally Chris said "crappy camp food" instead of "yucky camp food".
-Originally Chris said "Sucks to be you!" instead of "Stinks to be you!".
-Originally Owen said "My mom always said 'if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all' or in which case Heather would say nothing ever! She is the meanest, the nastiest the bi-*beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep* of all of Kalamazoo!!!" instead of "My mom always said 'if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all' or in which case, Heather would say nothing ever! She is the meanest, the nastiest, the biggest cold-hearted meany of all of Kalamazoo!!".

Next week:
Looks like we check in on the 17 voted off campers. This will be fun.

I probably would have enjoyed this more if I had any doubt that Geoff was gunna be the one voted off. I'm just as sure LaShawna will the be the next to go.

That said, it did have its moments. Geoff and Gwen's pre-bonding moments. When Geoff was bugging her just by being friendly. "Sure." Ditto with Duncan and LaShawna. Him finally ragging on LaShawna's weight was hilarious.... And the head scenes. The head scenes were good.

-Heather having to be stuck in the bathroom with Owen. Even sharing the confessional.:):):):):) that was great but it could spell the end of Owen the week after next now heather have a reason to get rid of owen.

-Courtney told LeShawna about Duncan's soft side. Never trust Courtney with a secret.
you see Duncan does have a very nice side i think LeShawna is right i think he is more talk then anything;););)
LeShawna pound him untill he realize it
well Duncan needs to keep his mouth about LeShawna well you know what he had it coming and

-Geoff getting Gwen to loosen up very sweet episode between them i think gwen really like him in the end thats why she took the picture with him also did anyone notice the picture of them look like they were underwater a nice/sweet touch.:):)

-Chris' remark about Duncan carving Courtney's wooden head sculture.
yes those 2 sences were the best of the who show with Chris getting hit in the head by a flying head thown bye LeShawna then it was totally funey when chris was to trying to say Duncan and LeShawna names after he got hit in the head that was so funny:sweat::sweat::sweat::sweat::sweat:;);););););)

-Heather tempting Owen to get the Whip Key. Owen really does not like heather nice to see owen standing up for himself;);):):)

-Geoff's gone. It's true though, aside from picking on Harold in previous episodes, he was the nicest guy in the group.:):):):)

also did heather say that she did not vote for anyone this week yeah i belive that when pigs fly:):):):anime::anime::anime:.

also it looks like Owen still thanks about izzy and still wants her to be his girlfriend :):):):):):):):):)

Another entertaining episode (yeah, I know, I say that a lot)...

Comments:
- As noted above, nice bits of continuity with Bony Island and that little statue-thing Beth stole (plus more lying---in this case, on Beth's part :-p ).

- >>1)How did the camera crew record Owens dream?<< Good question---I didn't even think of it until this was brought up. Guess the writers forgot as well. My guess: they re-created it from Owen's description of the dream, using CGI for the donuts/effects and throwing in Recycled Stock Footage(TM) of Owen nude, all for the sake of "enhancing" the show once broadcast... :-p

- LeShawna beating up Duncan *and* Chris... hilarious. Though was worried, well, beating up the host of the show would = being given the toss. Either way, guess it also lets LeShawna give Chris payback for destroying her trailer...

- Another sped-up (far as I can tell) opening---guess to squeeze in 6Teen (or other stuff).

Old-but-amusing cartoon gags:
- Chris having swirling lines and stars around his post-LeShawna-beaning head.

Canadianisms:
- Geoff says he's from "back east", but no indication where exactly he's from (Toronto? Montreal? Ottawa? Halifax?).

Next week's episode:
Another filler episode probably---seeing what the other campers have been up to. (Wonder when the season finale will air---hopefully not Thanksgiving Day).

Frank15

Heh... I guess Owen isn't completely immune to letting someone get on his nerves after all. Kinda' cool to see Owen actually has limits on how much he can put up with Heather, and I guess being forced to be attached to her for the whole episode, that gave him a lot more of Heather than he could handle.

Seems natural that Gwen would be annoyed by Geoff, seemingly too friendly and partying and annoying for her. Though I don't think they've ever really had much interaction before this episode, so I guess it makes sense for Gwen to feel that way until she got to know him a little better.

Can't scare everyone, Duncan. And probably not the best idea to comment on someone's weight when that person can and will take you on. Nice to see Leshawna taking up for Duncan when Chris started teasing him about his carving in Courtney's head. Chris was asking for it, really.

On another note, I'm curious when Courtney would have told Leshawna of the bunny thing.

The voices on 6Teen are kinda wierding me out. Same cast, different shows, back to back....

I know. Gwen and Jen even have that identical "squeak" in their voices.

You noticed how CN only did "Message From Home" videos only for the final five campers? Way to spoil things CN. You should've done other campers to throw off speculation, but NO! Probably one of the best episodes of the show so far. Enjoyed the chemistry between the campers, especially the Geoff/Gwen bonding. Hope we actually see the party Geoff hinted at. I even enjoyed the bits of continuity being used, like Bony Island, the Tiki Idol, and the elimination of other campers. My favorite part was Owen standing up to Heather after she was talking crap about Izzy. Really cute that he actually had feelings for her, and just wasn't hormone-fueled like he seemed last week.

NEXT WEEK: The kicked-out campers return in a "Very Special Episode".

Yeah true. The preview even if somewhat spoilerish never gives away just who exactly is the "star" or is highlighted the most in the episode. I'm just saying I'd want to see more of the characters who weren't developed if we're going to be focusing on the losers since I'm sure there's interesting info on them (Espically since I read all they're bios on TotalDramaIsland.com. Sad how a lot of the characters actually do sort of have interesting back stories that could of played out more but due to lack of screentime will never get a chance to really use it or anything).

To be fair when they started showing those there were only like 11 or 10 (at most) campers left anyway and by the time we got to Duncan's like only 8 so not much more they could of made. Also CN only has a limited budget to plug for promos of the show so the fact they made these, dock of shame remberence vids, and exclusives are pretty commendable promotions. Though yeah I doubt CN cares terribly about those kind of spoilers since let's face it they're still trying to appease kids more so then the really older fans who will notice something like that. Personally I'm kind of worried about something else about the "message from home" clips then how many there are but I'm not saying for fear of spoilers even if it is just speculation (then again I speculated Geoff leaving just because he didn't get a message from home so I think my speculation would have merit to it).

I don't think it has to do with how much a character is used that determines when they leave. I think that was more in the opening episodes when we were still getting to know they're personaltiies more. Nowadays it's more for story purposes. For example we got to know Lindsay a whole lot more then DJ, but she still left before he did. In fact chances are if you do get a decent amount of spotlight in the ep chances are nowadays that you could be the one voted off because that's what lets the other campers know to vote you off or something.

To me, Heather not getting kicked off in this episode felt way more forced than in earlier ones. I mean, every other character had a good reason to want her gone, and voting off Jeff because he was "too nice" reeked of plot device.

Well as Neo-Ultra-Mike said they're playing for keeps and the people who are gone will vote people off. And thinking no one who got voted off will even think of voting off Geoff, they voted him off . I hope that explains it.:D

Well, it makes sense for Duncan to vote Geoff off. As he said, Geoff "made a mistake weeks ago" (the resistence to vote Bridgette off and the ensuing interference with Duncan's Boy Alliance). So it's only natural Duncan would take this opportunity to pay Geoff back.

This was a nice episode. I liked seeing how Geoff and Gwen were bonding during this challenge. Geoff was pretty nice and outside of those episodes of teasing Harold, he was like one of the nicest people there. My other favorite parts were when Lashawna was bonding a bit with Duncan, Duncan carving into Courtney's wooden head, Chris getting knocked in the head for teasing Duncan afterwords and Owen finally giving Heather a piece of his mind with that venting moment. I felt bad that Geoff got voted off since he was so nice and this was the best time to vote off Heather. But she's probably going to be sticking around for awhile longer to add some drama and whatnot. At least next week, we'll be seeing the losing contestants coming back. That should be really interesting.

Sorry if I'm a little late. Here are my thoughts:

1. Owen's dream was really weird!:p

2. During the challenge, where three teams of two were each handcuffed together:

a. It was hilarious seeing the guys get force-fed all that disgusting food!:p

b. We can all tell that Heather really doesn't like Owen!

c. It was a shame to see everyone go at each other's throats while canoeing to the island.:(

d. It was very creepy to see that idol again!

e. I liked how Geoff felt sorry for Gwen having never been to a party.:)

f. It was weird seeing them reminisce about the other contestants with those "Totem Poles of Shame."

3. During elimination, although it was sad to see Geoff get voted off, I loved seeing him & Gwen get their photo taken together.:anime:

Next week's ep looks good. The "voted-off" contestants will decide who goes next. It should be VERY interesting.:D
