I didn't like 6Teen, but I'll check out the Halloween special because I heard it was good. They're probably just airing it right now to see if it's popular, and if it is then the series will come over. And if the series does come over, I won't be watching it.
I've watched Batman vs. Dracula before, so Saturday is nothing special for me. But still:
Animated: 4
Live Action: 0 WOOT
And uh....Sundays are back to their normal self again. After a 3 week streak of animated movies (4 week streak if you count both airings of Monster House), live action returns to the Flicks. At least Men in Black is a popular movie, but that still doesn't make it right. So now the score is:
Animated: 6
Live Action: 11
Nothing special this week besides Friday. I'm still waiting on the return of Foster's and EEnE, and KND if possible. And seeing as how they're putting all the B&M episodes on CN Video, it's becoming more and more likely that Billy and Mandy won't live outside of October. And still no new episodes of Chowder or Flapjack. November should be better, because Chowder is supposedly starting again then and Batman will be coming along. During like August or so, I was thinking that Fall was going to be awesome and that we'd be having some really cool stuff, but besides Underfist, Fridays and Saturdays, so far, nothing's really done it for me. And an erratic schedule that has random hour long marathons from 2-7 on weekdays as well as Goosebumps doesn't help.

Is The Batman vs. Dracula this week's Action Flick, or is that block out for this weekend?

I think they shoud just stop airing Naruto...and start airing Shippuden. It looks like they are hesitant to air the rest of them judging by the past few weeks. I think there are somewhere around 20 more episodes, at this rate....we'll be lucky to see Shippuden by March.
You know, at the rate they're going with this (one episode every other week), it might take a year to finish off the last 20 episodes

They wouldn't do that. Naruto is popular. Right now it's in a tough position. Instead of airing after AF every other week, they should just air it right before AF every week, heck, maybe even two weeks. It's not like they air anything important.

I know Goosebumps is getting decent ratings, but it's being aired on weekdays too. Naruto's not. Taking away one or two airings won't hurt ratings.

I do believe that's the intention. Naruto is too much of a hit for CN not to air until the end but they don't seem to want to air Shippuden. I just hope that move does not come back to haunt CN. Like if say another channel picks up Shippuden and it does even better there.
Ok that's not likely.

Yea, I can't see another channel getting Shippuden without getting Naruto first. And plus, neither Nick or Disney seem to acknowledge that the anime market exist, since they've done very little work with it (I know they've each aired some anime, but very little I reiterate), the only network I can see picking it up is Sci-Fi, and still, not without getting the rights for Naruto too.

I'm definitely looking foreword to the new episode of Pokemon, as always, and the new episodes on the You Are Here block. Hopefully I'll be able to watch the whole block this week since I've been too busy to do that since it started. Action Flicks airing The Batman vs. Dracula is a good move. It isn't like Mask of the Phantasm good, but what is? Besides that, it is a really good movie in its own right. I'm also going to be looking foreword to that special presentation of 6Teen's Halloween special. I did like what I did see of the show and CN airing it would be awesome. That's what works the best for me for this week's schedule.

I don't think Sci-Fi would pick it up, and there's a good chance that Shippuden will get picked up, but that's only if Cartoon Network still has the money. I'm simply saying that it hasn't been picked up YET, so I wouldn't be anxious to get all of Naruto done in one marathon so we could move on to a show that might not even air and I'd be happy that it's still on the network for the time being, even if it's only once every other week.

That's what my cable guide says too. Why the hell would they air The Batman instead of Naruto? They haven't aired The Batman in years! If someone was a fan of The Batman they've surely deserted the network by now. Of course, the same could be said with the decision to air The Batman v. Dracula in the first place. This is asinine. Why do they continue to screw Naruto fans?

Maybe they're squeezing an episode in to fill extra schedule space after the movie ends. It's not something that's unual for them.
Of course, the same could be said with the decision to air The Batman v. Dracula in the first place.Ummm, maybe because it's Halloween. Dracula is right there in the title. Makes sense to me. Schedules change during the holidays. Gotta deal.
This is asinine.No, it's not.
Why do they continue to screw Naruto fans?To personally drive you nuts. Honestly, do you really think the people in charge of scheduling over at Cartoon Network just sit around thinking of ways to screw anime and Naruto fans? Of course they don't. It doesn't work that way.
How come every time there's a schedule change or alteration that you guys don't like the only explanation everyone offers is that someone in charge either has a bias against a show or has it out for a specific segment of the audience. Come on, people.

My guess is that they wanted the "one Naruto every two weeks" thing to be consistent. Either that, or they're testing the waters for a return of The Batman.

(wonders what the Batman Nood will be)
Oooh! Thanks for reminding me! I never really watched The Batman, not that I disliked it, I just never got into it because there was too much Batman being exposed to me at the time it aired and it just seemed unappealing compared to the other Batman incarnations. Maybe it's something I should regret because it was probably a good show. I watched a few episodes of it in my final "Saturday Morning" years on Kids WB, but I never stuck around, not because the show was bad, but I had just grown out of the Saturday Morning phase. But I still find it strange but at the same time, cool, that they'd air a show that didn't do so hot and hasn't been on the network in the while.

An episode of Naruto takes up the same amount of space as an episode of The Batman.

No, it's not.
Airing only 3 episodes of Naruto a month isn't asinine? I can't imagine any other network coming up with a schedule that bad.

Well, Cartoon Network makes no money off of Naruto merchandise, so in a way, yes, they do have a bias. It makes them less money than their original shows so they treat it worse.
My guess is that they wanted the "one Naruto every two weeks" thing to be consistent.
But, they don't advertise Naruto as "one Naruto every two weeks". Actually, they don't advertise it, period.

Actually, at this point, I'd probably prefer it if Cartoon Network just ran the rest of the filler episodes in a one week special event. Of course, if they did it like Nick does it, they'd take it off the air for half a year and we'd all freak out thinking they cancelled it.

An episode of Naruto takes up the same amount of space as an episode of The Batman.
Yes but usually when CN needs to fill some space after a movie they'll air something that's actually related to the movie. So naturally they're showing an episode of The Batman after Batman vs Dracula. Makes sense.
Airing only 3 episodes of Naruto a month isn't asinine? I can't imagine any other network coming up with a schedule that bad.
When was the last time CN aired Ed, Edd and Eddy? I'm not sitting here saying it's asinine. I don't like the programming choices, but sitting here complaining isn't really productive either.
Well, Cartoon Network makes no money off of Naruto merchandise, so in a way, yes, they do have a bias. It makes them less money than their original shows so they treat it worse.
But that's just business. It always works with way with television. CN doesn't have a personal bias against Naruto. It's just that there are other programs that they can better use to their financial advantage. I'm sure there's no one at the network who thinks, "God, Naruto sucks. Lets piss off the fanbase and not show it often."

Ummm...Naruto's regular timeslot is to air after Action Flicks on Saturdays. Well, that's if you can even consider that a regular timeslot, since whenever they air a movie that's over an hour and a half, they don't show Naruto at all. So, basically, Naruto has aired after Batman: Gotham Knight, Justice League: A New Frontier, and next week it will air after Dr. Strange. Those are the only times that Naruto has aired since Action Flicks started. If they always aired something that related to the movies then Naruto would never air.

I thought Ed, Edd, and Eddy ended?

You act like programmer's preferences never come into play at all. Naruto and One Piece were both initially picked up because Sean Akins and Jason DeMarco liked the shows. A representative from Funimation recently said that One Piece was taken off of Cartoon Network simply because the new management doesn't like anime. It might just be sour grapes, but it wouldn't be the first time that management kills a show just because they don't like it.
