This is the third episode with the word "Malevolence" in it.
That would be because the ship they are trying to destroy during this three-part arc is the Malevolence.

Man, those Battle Droids are more useless than a red shirt on a landing team.
Gotta love Anakin's plans. They just so cheesy , but guarantees a lot of fun :)
Ah, Grevious, you gotta love him and his ham.

With thousands of droids, you can bet a hundred will end up as laser/cannon/saber fodder at some point...

I swear this was a level in Jedi Academy.
Poor C3PO. Ends up as the buttmonkey of Star Wars.
Oh, Grevious! I just hope retains his level of Buttkickery from the first series!

Obi-Wan easily dispatches and avoids every droid attack thrown at him, and then leaves unharmed.
Battle Droid: Well....that was impressive.
Grevious: Gah! *backhands droid into scrap*

Obi-wan: "Time for some clever tricks Anakin."
*Veers lazily to the left and spins*
Grevious didn't deliver. Of course, Obi-wan did run away from him. probably figuring out that he lose...
That was a fast escape.
Oh, PWNED.

Droid: We're gonna die!
And Grievous hung up on Dooku! That's gonna mark down some points...

Did Grievous actually say 'kill' and not 'destroy'? I'm shocked.

This was a pretty decent episode. Personally Padme's appearence felt a little forced (and I didn't mean her being moved by Anakin, or they're time alone together, which BTW does have better dilaogue then they're romance scenes in the actual movies) with it just being so concidentanl to try and kidnap her as a backup for the Malveolnce's failure but it was nice to see Anakin and Obi Wan team up to try and save her. (Kind of reminds me of Episode III actually: Obi Wan and Anakin boarding a Grevious ship and of course Grevious vs Obi Wan. Maybe if Obi Wan read ahead... he could of prevented the death of the jedi in the first place but at least would of known that he could take on Grevious and win) Padme also proved her level of commintment not wanting to be saved and trying to help out during the plan. Still annoyed with Ashoka though. Seriously is "that's my master" her catcphrase or something? She seems to say it like once an episode now. Anytime someone says something about Anakin she has to dust off that old chesnut. Seriously Ashoka: I'd work on getting liked before I tried putting that onto a T-shirt unless you think all the haters will want to buy it or something.

Padme: "You've been playing with droids ever since I've known you."
Anakin: "When I was little I used to put them together. Now I take them apart."
Greivous was pretty cool taking apart his own driods and his own ships like that, but he really needs to learn self control.
If nothing else Obi-Wan showed us he is quick on his feet, and Anakin showed us sabotoging the enemy ship 101. "Yes, but the nav computer is directing us striaght toward that moon."
Yoda still pawns ths episode when all is said and done, but the series continues to be impressive, and this was the best of the Malevolece episodes.

Well, I'm a few weeks late getting involved in these talkbacks (to put it bluntly, I've been sick as a dog), but here goes....
I am not an Ahsoka hater, but I was nonetheless glad to see this episode focus on the Anakin/Obi-Wan duo. And our little band of heroes running around the ship was somewhat reminiscent (at least thematically) of another band of heroes running around the Death Star in 1977.
I am digging the running gag of Grievous/Ventress taking out their frustrations on some hapless Battle Droid. The Battle Droids themselves are just as wacky as ever. Interestingly, in the last "Star Wars Insider", Dave Filoni suggested that the series will get darker as the war drags on and we get closer to Episode III: "As the war progresses, the droids get more menacing..." We might actually be missing these goofy Battle Droids after a couple of seasons.
Padme conviently popping out of hyperspace when she did may have been contrived, but when they mentioned last episode that they were near Naboo, her appearance was perhaps inevitable.
And Grievous hanging up on Dooku was gold. Dooku: "Grievous! You've got some 'splaining to do!" :D
And next week's episode is Captain Rex! I can't wait! (Is a major fan of

Good wrap up to the story arc. Glad they added Padme, I want to see some more brute force in the form of battles from Grievous though. Nice to see Obi-Wan finally on the field. I hope we get some more time off of Anakin and Ahsoka to focus on other characters though.

Solid episode. I kind of feel bad for Grevious, though. They made him a little too incompetent in this episode. I hope they have some episodes where he wins, for a change.
I've been critical of the over-the-top droid humor in the past, but this episode was actually funny. I laughed a few times--has the humor gotten better, or was I just in a goofy mood? I loved the droids jumping from one train to the next, and missing. And the droid who criticized his fellow droids for shooting at a jedi.
Next week's episode looks amazing. All clones, no main characters. Good idea. Can't wait to see it.

Two episodes ago we had on-screen human death.

I seem to recall her mentioning that Palpatine told her to head that way, and seeing as how he's really Darth Sideous...

Good episode. The highlights were the battle droids jumping off of the cliff, and Grievous hanging up on Dooku.:D

Obi-Wan taking out the battle droids by "droideka bowling" was actually a neat move; If we got those more often, then this show would be much less dull.

Having Padme was great. Hot girls like her and Ventress should be in every episode. Little girls like Ahsoka should wait about 5 years or so until they are of age.

In the original Clone Wars series, they had him kill "Shaggy" along with some of the other Jedi. Only Ki-Adi, Shaak Ti, and what's her name survived.
Aayla Secura. And yeah, I agree that Grievous needs to win a few.
