Holy crap it was intense. In the course of 3 days we flew from Atlanta to LA, LA to New York, New York to Atlanta. It was an awesome and productive trip, we recorded audio for our new cartoon The Xtacles. We may have actually tried to squeeze too much into such a short trip. We were exhausted by the end, but the audio came out awesome.
In LA we recorded Rachel Harris (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rachael_Harris) and Marshall Bell (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marshall_Bell). They were both hilarious and graciously complimentary of our scripts.
We were actually in town for the earthquake, but we were driving down the 405 when it hit. (oh... how LA!) So we didn't feel a thing. I was kinda bummed out.
In New York we recorded Micheal Ian Black (http://michaelianblack.typepad.com/). He was great, and we're huge fans of his... So I tried to not crap my pants while directing him to "make it douchier."
That night my boss took me to his "favorite Chinese Restaurant" in Chinatown. He wasn't sure it was the same place, and we both got mild food poisoning. Chinatown's got something for everybody. He took me over to the park where all the old Asian Dudes play Chinese Chess. Two giant white guys... Hilarious. I almost crushed someone.
We've been revising scripts for a while now. So we're eager to hatch them into episodes and shove them the hell out of the nest... with grace and finesse.
I heard rumors in the spring........ but this makes it look more of a reality
Frisky Dingo looks to be over after 2 seasons though
