So, every time I try to print my resume the 11th line gets screwed up. Most of the other documents I print come out fine, but for some some reason every time I print my resume the 11th line gets screwed up. I've tried installing new drivers but they didn't seem to help. Maybe I'm not downloading the right drivers. Anybody have any suggestions? I have a Canon Pixma MP150 Printer and I'm using Windows 2000.

Take them out, use alcohol (rubbing alcohol works best as well as the alcohol prep pads, if you don't have that, use hydrogen peroxide or vodka if available) to wipe the contacts clean. reinsert them, and do a cartridge head cleaning. it if does not help, buy a new cartridge because this one is probably damaged or clogged beyond cleaning.

I'm pretty sure that's not the problem, since the problem existed before I last changed the ink cartridge and remained after I changed it.

Is it blurred, different characters, or does not come out at all?
If other documents come out fine, maybe you should try saving your resume as a different file, as a different type of document, or trying to alter it in a way that the document is different, but still has all your resume info. Maybe by trying that you can get your resume successfully printed, which seems to be your priority.

Blurred. Though, actually, sometimes other lines get blurred as well.

Thanks. I opened the document in Adobe Framemaker and I was able to print it without blurring. So, I guess there must be a problem with my copy of Microsoft Word? I guess I might as well save my cover letter and list of references as framemaker documents as well.
