Who'd win in a fight:
a kung-fu master or a karate master?

As far as I know, it depends on the physical condition, the experience and the wisdom the people fighting have. No clear cut examples.
To use an off topic example, look at a fight between The Hulk and The Submariner.
If Namor somehow ended up in a desert (high temperature and no body of water) then the Hulk would beat him.
If The Hulk was forced underwater (in where Namor gets his strength whereas the Hulk would drown), then Namor would win the fight.

I think the Kung-Fu master would win-they can use weapons.

Weapons don't always guarantee a victory. Again, it depends on the physical condition, wisdom and experience that the people involve have.

Im going to go with Baki the Grappler's logic.
Kung Fu's been around and evolving for thousands of years, while Karate hasnt been around for nearly as long.
so logically a Kung Fu master who has inherited a martial art that's been perfected and getting better and better over a period of a long time would have the advantage over a karate master whose martial art hasn't had nearly as much time.
Neither. The Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt chokes them both out.
Didn't you watch the early UFC's?
