Last Time: Uryu has been kidnapped... Again.
Showtime!
EDIT- Wow, no one has posted anything. This has to be the most pathetic thread yet.
So the snake guy is your usual Starscream-esque traitor.

I don't know, I rather see a body or some form of remains first before making judgement.

Good episode. Ichigo learned a new trick while at fighting the Soul Reapers at the Soul Society. He learned how to use his raw spiritual power as a way to shield himself from damage.
That is a nice defensive trick to have.

Wow, awesome episode,
Jin is still my #1 favorite major villain:evil: which his voice actor is doing great with his character which he is the powerful devious calculating-type.
Ichinose is my favorite Soul Reaper which he's cool/interesting:D & gave that lousy brat Ririn a beating which she deserved it for bashing on poor Ichigo which I love that part the most which someone should make a gif of it if any of you guys are Ririn bashers besides me.
Yoshi the greenhaired Bount witch is my favorite coolest evil chick ever which her voice actress rocks for it.
Ichigo's new trick from his spiritual power to shield himself is so awesome which he's getting stronger which he's the awesome shonen hero next to Luffy,Naruto,Bobobo, & L from Death Note.
The snake Bount slimeball dies which he was my favorite tough Bount villain who's another traitorous-type since Prince Lotor,Evil Lyn & Starscream and that he put up a great battle with Ichigo.
Don East, I love your next Orihime avatar which is so cute:anime: & it rocks which all your Orihime avatars are awesome.

Shouldn't the title be "Frieda v. Zangetsu" rather than Fried v. Zangetsu. It's not like Jin is using fried chicken to attack Ichigo, though that would be pretty cool. Anyway, am I the only one who is enjoying this filler arc more than the last canon arc?

You know, the one thing I liked about this episode was that the fight wasn't really dragged out. They fought for a little bit, then the snake guy turned on his leader, and failed miserably. It didn't feel like a lot of space was wasted in this episode.

Although it seems Ririn got what she deserved, getting hit by a villain who wants to kill every hero does not count. Besides, I want to see Ichigo do it personally. However, seeing Ririn bump into Rukia, hurting her nose, makes her extremely cute!
Anyway, why must the snake guy be a traitor? Isn't that cliched or something?

Didn't get to post in the previous talkback, but I love "Tonight!Tonight!Tonight!" It's so Engrishy and catchy.

Looks like Viz is too lazy to use the custom fourth intro for each episode. Not surprising, but still disappointing.
Oh well, at least we get the Orihime version.
What happened to Renji?

Custom intros? is that like the different endings a couple of arcs ago with the different companies in the court guards?
Also, it is always great to hear/see Ichigo going all kick ass for us.

There's supposed to be a different random picture of one of the characters for each episode that uses this intro. It shows up about halfway through, right after all the Bounts are shown. Viz only seems to be using the Orihime one, though.

I'm stuck at a hotel in Boston for most of last week with no access to a TV outside of Olympic coverage, and I trust my DVR to tape last Saturday's Bleach episode, and what does [as] do?
THEY CHANGE THEIR FRIGGIN SCHEDULE AT THE LAST MINUTE SO IT DOESN'T RECORD!!
So now I'm stuck resorting to means which must not be named to catch up with this series because it's not in the fricking Video.
I don't know why I trust this channel these days. Most of their comedies are overrated, they shove their un-promoted anime to the least popular night of the week and then wonder why nobody's watching, and their last-minute schedule changes keep throwing me off!!
Oh, Frieda, the Bount attack with naturally curly hair?

I thought DVRs record a show regardless of when it comes on? Like, don't you just tell it to record all Bleach episodes that are new and then it will record it?

Once again Sensui Arcisim strikes again. No I'm not talking about the idea of our hero having to take on a seven villian group and the attempted raid to try and rescue they're friend. I'm talking about the whole "useless characters that were seemingly invincible before" angle. Okay Cloud, Nova and Ririn were able to defeat Ichigo and crew with they're powers even when the team knew more about them right? And yet they get pwned by Maki here (and sadly him knocking away Ririn can't be enjoyed as much since that's now supposedley a bad thing) without really too much effort on his part. Yes I know all about Maki and why that'd make sense knowing more about his zanpakto (as shown somewhat here) but it just really makes them seem all the more annoying how quickly they went from being on top to getting taken down so easily. At least Ruika's reason for not being so useful against Maki was explained: She's still mostly lost her powers so she won't be of much help against these guys. I do sort of feel for Maki's plight though in the sense that at least his reasoning of having been betrayed by Zaraki for killing his captain and ruining they're dreams seems like much fresher motivation then uh anyone else seems to have. Kariaya seems to want to make a portal to Huedo Mundo and Uganada wants to be the leader. Really though I guess besides some sneaky snake moves what power does this guy really have? Ichigo was shown to have easily slashed him and then blasted away his hoard of snakes. I mean if he had wanted to he could of just killed him but no, Ichigo wanting to actually "finish things qucikly" means he talks more about it then actually doing something about it. Eh at least Ugandawa's dead so that's one less villian around and now at least Ichigo will take on a Soul Reaper who seems to actually know how to end fights quickly. Overall though kind of a mediocre ep. I think the main point of it was just to show how imitating Kairya can be but really he's only a scrap above being a sort of eh villian in my books. Aizen was so much cooler. Until we get back to the manga plots though we're stuck with him, like it or not. And I only liked it (here at least) kind of decently.

I think I set it at a certain time, the time it was slated for before the schedule change.
