Anime night characters used for AS commercials?

Could Adult Swim license the rights to the characters from their anime night lineup, and put them in crossover commercials together to promote their Saturday night?

I would love to see Shin, Ichago, and Lelouche together in the same scene to promote anime night. That would be cool.

Cartoon Network use to do that with their shows in the late 90's.

Well the studios of these shows should be able to cooporate with each other, if it meant promoting their shows and getting better ratings. Everybody wins.

I saw an image on DeviantART that has a picture of Shin Chan on a chinese resturant sign called Kim Lai. I think the image needs to be sent to AS.

I would love to see Shin dressed in the black robe that Ichigo wears when he is outside of his body, and do some training with Rukia or see Shin be revealed under the mask of Zero. See Kon hang out with the Black Knights, and see Mitzi deciplines Leloush or Ichigo after they call old.

Bingo. Lazzo already is firmly set on his belief that anime ratings are not helped or hindered by advertising (We're going up against the UFC? Oh, the nerds will watch...somehow) so expecting this is a fantasy.

Yeah, not to mention you have to deal with two companies for each shows. First of all the companies that make the original shows, so you can have the characters appear at all, and than the companies that dub them.

The only times I can recall US blocks using anime characters for commercials was KidsWB, when they used the Pokemon characters, and 4kids TV, but the dub company was running the block to begin with.

It would probably be easier to just "fix up" already-existing clips and merge them or something....

I would really love a "fixed-up" clip of Shin watching that Kallen shower scene from the 3rd ep of CG. Or maybe one of L watching Action Bastard on his laptop. Hell, I'd enjoy one of Mitzi watching Haji on tv and goin' ga-ga over him. :yawn:

This is sort of a spoiler but not really, since I am not giving away details, the fans that have seen it, know what I am referring to.

A Shin Chan parody idea, is for them to recreate the final scene of the last episode of Code Geass R1, with Shin as Leloush and Georgie as Suzaka. And of course the sourse of Shin's geass powers comes from his butt. Besides I thought Suzaka and Kazama had similar personalities to begin with. Those of you that saw R1 Stage 25, know where I am going with. Just imagine that scene with Shin and Georgie, that would be funny.
