Something to note: This is the 20th episode, which means all of Season 1 will have aired.

So this is the last episode we'll be seeing in a while, right??? I wonder if Chowder will end up being taken off of Har Har temporarily because it has no new episodes so they could air the final episodes of other comedy series like Gym Partner, Foster's, or OOJH. Probably not because of it's popularity, but it could happen, maybe.

Based on the preview that I've seen, Gorgonzola is going to be in this episode. blazecat should be happy about that.

Also, this appears to be another half hour story. It will be only the 2nd one that's been made (the 1st of course being "Shnitzel Quits").

Where's Schnitzel and Truffles? They should at least be in the audience.

I'm loving the bickering between Chowder and Gorgonzola. It's cute.

Is Gorgonzola like Charmander or something? If his flame goes out, does he die no matter what?

Is it me or has Chowder gotten cuter in recent episodes?

In must series they make slight changes in the characters in the first few episodes.

Gorgonzola is a total barnaclehead! He reminds me of Squidward. Except that Squidward has his sense of humor to back up his sour-puss attitude.

So? Chowder is a cat... thing, and Gorgonzola's a mouse... thing. It's natural.

Well this was a great episode to end the first season on. It was nice seeing Gorgonzola again. Chowder needs a rival to compliment him, plus the show does lack recurring characters. It was nice to see Gorgonzola's master too. And it was cool that we found out that dancing guy with the green hair and hat from an earlier episode was also a master with an apprentice. I forgot their names though, what was his and his apprentice's names??? All the characters have such foreign names it's hard to remember them.

My favorite part of the episode was Chowder and Gorgonzola singing when dressed up like Panini and the dancing dude's apprentice. It was too funny. I am saying this right now, Chowder will go down in history as one of the all time greatest toons ever. No, correction, EVAH!

Ever since The Sleep Eater episode, Chowder and Mung have been slightly redesigned. Chowder's eyes were made bigger so his expressions would read better, his head is rounder, and more often than not his cheeks don't show up when he smiles. I agree that he looks cuter than before. :)

Anyway, I really liked this episode (although Schnitzel Quits would have made a better season finale, but he's not the main character, so it doesn't matter). The Gorgonzola and Chowder dynamic is great.

Chowder's a cat/bear/rabbit hybrid. C.H. Greenblatt said this on his blog. Also, Chowder's wisdom tooth refers to him as a "cat/bear/rabbit thing" in "The Puckerberry Overlords". Panini is supposed to be the same species as Chowder.

Although Greenblatt didn't originally have any specific species in mind for Chowder; he intended him to have the squishy appeal of a child's squeeze toy.

The main difference is that Chowder is the only person that Gorgonzola hates, but Mandy had a problem with everyone.

According to the Chowder guide at TV Rage, the reason behind Gorgonzola's hostility towards Chowder is because Gorgonzola hates being a candle maker's apprentice, and he's jealous of Chowder for having the 'better' apprenticeship, so he takes his pent-up frustration out on Chowder.

Aye. I wrote that. I used to be the Editor of that guide on TV Rage, but I resigned because TV Rage just can’t compete with TV.com. TV.com’s guide is full of errors and all sorts of problems, but it received far more traffic than my TV Rage guide had received. Regardless, I got that information from an early Blog that C. H. Greenblatt made back in 2007.

He's an apprentice candle holder. Maybe that's why he's so surly. He got the cruddy job while Chowder has a dream job.

Well that's really good. As good as Chowder is, it needs more recurring characters. You know, characters that don't appear in most of the episodes, but are known by the cast and appear in a few episodes. One thing I've noticed is that Chowder rarely references other cartoons, unlike some other cartoons on CN. Like Billy and Mandy would be chock full of cameos by Yogi Bear and Fred Flintstone and Scooby Doo. But Chowder, whose staff is made up of many B&M workers, isn't like that. I guess it's because Chowder is in his own completely made up world.

the funniest part was when mung was dressed up as chowder and he says "I'M NOT YOUR BOYFRIEND" to panini! :D

An update on this.

Ceviché is a boy. We realize he looks a little girly with the pink hair and leotard and all. We've decide he's got a mad crush on Panini, and this will lead to future friction with Chowder.

I would never have guessed.

And you'd think Chowder would be perfectly okay with Cevice going after Panini. I guess he's more interested than he lets on.

He made a comment in his Blog. People kept saying that Ceviché was a girl and they wanted him to clarify the character’s gender; what I posted was what he said in response to their queries.
