A new episode of Flapjack airs today on CN's Har Har Tharsdays block. Here's the synopsis:

K'nuckles and Flapjack go West;Flapjack befriends an unhealthy rat.

The designs for the characters after the rat gives them "the plague" are even more disturbing. I mean, there's a guy with bumps and his eyes on his tongue.:eek:

This episode(or more specifically "K'nuckles is a Filthy Rat") would make a good Holloween episode. The character designers for this short did a great job making the characters look creepy, ugly, and scary.

Yeah, I that poor ragged guy in his underwear was creepy as hell...saying 'West'. One thing I noticed that in the hallucination was he had 'Flapjax' lableed on his underwaer.

I liked the first one because it was funny and knuckles was a filthy rat was animated perfectly, haven't seen detail like that in 2d cartoons for a while.
Liked how saying west brought more things around them.

-The guy who said "Wessssst!" and Flapjack dancing silly kinda gave me the creeps! :ack:

-And I just couldn't get the joke behind that small scene w/ the black background and where everything was drawn in red.

-Now the plaque-infected K'nuckles was SCARY! But I think it would be a perfect...Friday the 13th episode!!! :evil:

Overall, funny episode! (Actually, a little more freaky than funny.)

Man and here I thought Courage and Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy were creepy Cartoon Cartoons, Flapjack is quickly beating both.

I can't say much more than anyone else has already said, so I'll just reiterate it thoughtlessly: this show is friggin' creepy. One can only imagine the type of twisted, demented show the creator of Flapjack could make if he had his own show on Adult Swim.

Um. Wow. Flapjack seemed so innocent and lighthearted in all of its previous episodes. Tonight's episode with the plague was pretty creepy.

I wonder why Bubbie didn't get the plague. The rat was in her mouth through most of the epiosde.

Man, I missed both Chowder and Flapjack on Thursday. I'll catch them when I can, but I'm gonna take a guess and say it's creepy. :D And that can be either a good thing or a bad thing..

I liked the red outlined dream sequence. I don't think it was meant to be funny, as one poster suggested, but just a creative way to show how crazy the characters were becoming due to drinking salt water.
K'nuckles when he was plague ridden was creepy but so interesting because of all the details the animators put into him and all the other sick people.

I bet the second short was basically the animators saying "You think our characters are ugly? Well, we'll show you ugly!"

I really thought I would hate this show...but it's kinda growing on me. I loved this episode, actually...but I've always loved the odd, unsettling and even macabre.

I just saw "Filthy Rat" on CN Video. It's by far the weirdest episode of this weird, yet strangely good, show. The gruesome detail that was put on Dr. Barber and K'Nuckles (The First) stands out in my mind, and so does that guy whose whole face had travelled to his tongue. I'm still not a fan of this ugly look the show's going for, but it's slowly growing on me, very very slowly. I also don't like the whole photorealistic look they do with animals like Seagulls and rats like K'Nuckles (The Second). The funniest parts were when K'Nuckles The Second found the female rat as well as how the Stormalong citizens left the people on Plague Island while he was asking them for supplies. In less than 2 months, this show has already become the weirdest show I have ever seen on CN by far. It's competing with Ren and Stimpy, and I don't think any other cartoon has come that close before.

Everyone basically said, what I was feeling in my head.
Flapjack = Awesomely Creepy.
This has to be one of the best cartoons, CN has now (there isnt many anymore, imo). This and Chowder could go hand in hand. Both
very humorous and fun cartoons.
I'd like to see what the future holds for this.
