Expect the unexpected, my friend.

No Eds, Foster's, or Billy and Mandy on the schedule. And they have the asinine nerve to keep Camp Lazlo and Squirrel Boy (Who has 26 episodes (!)) on the schedule?! Oh, that's Bullship in a bottle.

Yep. That's why I usually dread when summer comes around. They always do this. Can't wait for the Fall schedule to kick in.

Though, the kids don't seem to mind it. Considering that CN saw growth in their audience than their usual decline, its not going to end anytime soon.

I would've thought they would be trying to downplay TDI instead of playing it so much, considering TDI is an acquisition. Then again, Ben 10: Alien Force, Chowder, and Flapjack are getting played a lot more than TDI, so maybe my thoughts are unfounded . . .

Has anyone wondered whether there'll even be a Toonami this Saturday night (aka will the shows be running unblocked)? If I were to kill Toonami I'd kill it with Doomsday to let the block go out with a bang, among other things (such as Toonami's final night containing a movie subtitled "Doomsday").

The lack of the shows you mentioned is a big problem. Plus they got rid of Cartoon Cartoon Top 5, so now we can't even see older CC's.

Racing Stripes?? RACING STRIPES??
-_____-

Animated: 1
Live Action: 4

In some areas CN has improved greatly. In other areas it sucks just as much as usual. This schedule is proof of that.

I'm looking foreword to watching Balto II: Wolf Quest. I honestly think that's one of the better animated sequels out there. I'm also going to be watching those two Pokemon movies and I'm definitely going to like the episode next Saturday since I believe that's when the gang get to Velistone City and there in lies my favorite Pokemon's first appearance in the series. As always, I'll watch the Thursday block, but that and Saturdays are usually the main times I actually watch CN. I would be watching the Master Quest and soon Advance episodes in the morning, but I already have them on DVD. It took me awhile to actually remember what Racing Stripes was. Yeah, another random movie, but oh well.

Ed, Edd n Eddy and Billy and Mandy should be part of the afternoon schedules, man! I mean I barely even see those on CN anymore. But I guess CN needs new blood and the new shows need some exposure, but I'd still like CN to stick EEnE and Billy & Mandy somewhere around the schedules though.

And Foster's, don't forget Foster's. And in all honesty, Chowder and Flapjack are getting more than enough exposure, especially since Flapjack only has about 5 or 6 episodes. Chowder and Flapjack are on every day of the week, I doubt that taking out a few of their slots and filling them in with Foster's, Eds, or Billy and Mandy would do much harm to ratings, I bet it would actually help ratings.

they need to stop showing so much Skunk fu. its just not that good of a show to me. Johnny Test is ok when u don't run the hell out of it.
Chowder is pretty funny though. i guess they really want those boy viewers with action in the morning. i can't wait for clone wars in august

The Temple of the sea is my favorite Pokemon movie, I look forward to seeing it. But TDI, even though I really like it, is really getting old. Couldn't they have waited for the episodes to pile up first?

Not mention that when CN didn't show EEnE and Billy & Mandy on their network, they used to always feature episodes of those two shows on Cartoonnetwork Video every week. Now even those episodes are gone. Well I guess it is time to start buying the DVDs (that are available) of these shows:yawn:

I guess the only highlight is that they brought Balto 2 back, which hasn't aired in a few years.

Seriosuly, no Foster's? what a $#%^#%& joke. doesn't that show still have a few episodes left to air, not to mention one of it's higher rated shows?

Unfortunately, it looks like we won't see any different programming on Cartoon Network until at least August, and even with that, we're probably talking mid to late August. CN rotates the same 4 or 5 shows every summer, as long as the kids don't complain about it, they're going to keep doing it.

It's just hard to thing a network would take what you would think are it's highest rated shows off. There is NO Billy & Mandy, Foster's, Camp Lazlo, Gym Partner, EEE, KND --- nowhere.

I'd guess most (maybe all) will be back in the fall. But come on, they could at least add these shows in the morning.

Oh, and the only Cartoon Network Original Comedy I could find running every day

Flapjack and Chowder

Series with 6 and 18 episodes respectivly

sure, probably a majority fo their airing is an encore of Thursday, but that's way way way too much for them

Maybe CN is trying to make their new shows (Chowder and Flapjack for example) gain more popularity by showing them more often and even having marathons and running them to death. I think that if new shows like Chowder and Flapjack become really popular and all, CN won't have to rely on the old CN shows for long. They have relied on these shows for a long, long time to try to get better ratings. But EEnE, KND, Billy & Mandy, and Fosters took some time to gain a following and in the end, they turned out to be big money makers for CN. And CN wants some new blood cartoons to gain money instead, and that's fine with me since it's better than showing and promoting Live Action shows and movies. Don't get me wrong, I wish CN would show the old CN shows along with the new ones to make a mix of a great cartoon schedule, but sometimes networks feel they have to show the new shows more often to try and get them excess popularity and like I said before, fans. Since it has been shown that CN is no longer catering to our demographic (the kids and teens of the 90s), they are trying to get the new generation of kids to like all their new cartoons so that they can keep them entertained long enough until they grow out of CN. With all that said, even I can appreciate some of the new CN shows out their like Chowder and realize that CN has moved on from those cartoons (they've probably milked all the cashcow cartoons they have now from earlier years with the exception of EEnE and Fosters if they can both go out with a bang).

Well, based on what they said in the comments, it seems to be intentional. They'll probably just continue uploading the most recent episode each week, like they do for some of the other shows.

I'm guessing about half as many times as they're planning to run the Chowder show with "Certrifrycation Class" and "Sing Beans" or any of the Johnny Test shows. Start with 100 and work your way up. :anime:

Did anyone notice that they changed the warning label for [as] Before it read "Adult Swim may contain content that parents may not find suitable", or something like that. Yesterday they changed it so now there is "under seventeen" added on at the end. I'm not sure, but I think that's the first change they've done the label since it's inception.

Nah. First it was "under fourteen" tacked on at the end, then "under seventeen" tacked on, then the warning label we've had since mid-2006 if I remember right (the parents may not find suitable). They've changed that warning several times.

Yeah, it's weird. Sometimes they play the "seventeen" version before a TV-PG show, and then play the "fourteen" version before a TV-MA show. Whatever.

That would actually make sense as to why they would make a schedule change for Saturday. Rather than take the chance with just Naruto filler episodes, I guess CN wanted to see if it can draw some viewers with these movies.
