I don't get what either of these episodes have to do with footburn, or footcream.
Edit: Now I get it.

I like how that pirate ripped off his arm to use as a weapon.

I've always wondered how k'nuckles controls his wooden hands:shrug:.

I wish more people liked this show. I may not have cared that much about it at first, but I’ve grown rather fond of it and I absolutely love the dark comedy that it has used. It may actually be the darkest children’s comedy since “Invader ZIM”, as these past few episodes have contained some scenes that were quite brutal. Regardless, I thoroughly enjoyed both of these episodes, though “Hand It Over” was my favorite of the two. I liked the character development that K'nuckles received and I liked how they made him more sympathetic; he seemed to be telling the truth about how he lost his hands when he was younger, and I have to say that I admired his spirit for not letting the accident change his adventurous mindset. K'nuckles may be a horrible person and he may not be much of a captain, but it seems that he’s lived a hard life and I hope that future episodes delve into his history.

I liked this show, and yes I like some of the gritty dark stuff in it too. It's neat that we sort of found out how he got his wooden hands, now we need to find out how he got his wooden torso.;)
both were great episodes, seeing k'nuckles telling more of his adventure stories along with a good back story of him
Also liked the ending of foot burn

I'd also like to know why he's blue.

Between this show, Chowder, and Total Drama, I'm starting to get that feeling I got back when CN showed the What a Cartoon Show, with the semi risque comedy and violence. We may be in the midst of a CN renaissance.

Remember Toon Zone's first review, and the writer thought this show wasn't weird enough?
Capt. K'Nuckles just took his fake hand out on a date--and the Trolley hag was deesgusting. And those are just two small examples of how weird this show is!
Those of you who thought this show wasn't weird enough, what are you saying now?

I loved this show from the beginning but it keeps getting better.
I was definitely feeling a Ren and Stimpy vibe in the first one short. K'nuckles' had a few painted close ups which I enjoyed.
And the joke that the pirate tore off his arm for a weapon was great. Then the other pirates put their swords away while he tried to put his arm back but couldn't. Then he somehow ripped his other arm off later on.
I know some people don't like how "ugly" a lot of the characters are but I thought the ugliness of the trolley hag was what made that joke funny.

"Footburn" is my favorite episode of the series so far. I really need to find an image of when K'nuckles saw who the trolley woman was.
This line also got a genuine laugh out of me (paraphrasing):
K'nuckles: And do you know what was popping up over the edge?
Flapjack: ...Popcorn?

I'd also like to know why he's blue.
That's probably the biggest mystery of them all. ONLY his face is blue. The rest of his body is normal colored. And his nose is orange. What the heck is wrong with this guy?? Maybe he has frostbite all over his face from all his yet to be told adventures??? It's a possibility I suppose.
Now, I liked this show from the start. I'm still not a fan of the hideousness of the characters, but I admit that sometimes the hideousness is funny. The trolly hag is an example of hideousness that I can approve of. But still, I hope that they do better in dumbing down the hideousness in future episodes. I love the humor completely though. It's a mix of stuff from Spongebob and Ren & Stimpy with some older Cartoon Network shows. Flapjack pulls of the "painted close-up" thing, unlike My Gym Partner when it tried it.

That's what my friends keeps on thinking. Maybe he was born that way. That's a new mystery. It's like asking what's under Double-D's hat.
