Hmm? They canceled it already?

They aired a season's worth of episodes, so I'm guessing (and hoping) it's just on hiatus.

To my knowledge, I think they plan on airing the rest of the series on Toonami Jetstream.

It better not be canneled, I'll be ticked. We haven't even gotten to some of favorite episodes yet.

I didn't think Blue Dragon was the best anime ever. So it's disappearance doesn't bother me too much. Hopefully in due time we can make way for more better anime like the new Gundam and older anime like One Piece or the Dragonball trilogy.

The new Gundam show(Gundam 00) is going to the Sci-Fi Channel in November.

See I knew this would happen. All Viz cares about is their precious Naruto. No Mar, No Zatch, No Prince of Tennis and of course No Blue Dragon. All it is with them is Naruto. Now I didn't think Blue Dragon was the best show either but it did manage to hold my attention in the times that I saw it. Man I'm getting tired of this.
However, if it does come back I shall take back my words, but for now, a Pox on Viz and CN. A pox, I say!

This is Cartoon Network's doing. Titles for future episodes were listed in U.S. Shonen Jump, so VIZ already had them dubbed.

It is possibly that it is just on a hiatus since they did air about a season's worth of episodes. It also could be that the series will just be on Toonami Jetstream, depending on if CN wants it to return to their schedule or not. Right now, it could go either way so fans will just have to wait and see what happens.

I wouldn't mind seeing Blue Dragon on Jetstream, but I'm not on Jetstream terribily often. Maybe when I get my own computer I will visit the site more often.

We'll find out if it will be a Jetstream exclusive next week. They have episode 14, the last episode to air on CN, on Jetstream this week.

Really kind of liked this series, but I knew better not to get too attached to it. This is Cartoon Network, after all...

It hasn't ared a full season of eps has it? It's suppossed o go to Toonami ,which makes sense since it was only 0.1 behind Pokeman

I thought that Blue Dragon had aired at least half a season, or a season if they're going with thirteen episodes for a season. It was on Toonami for awhile, but then they replaced it for Ben 10: Alien Force. If it doesn't return to CN, then the episodes will air on Jetstream, which is a legal way to watch them online.

Episode 15 isn't on Toonami Jetstream this week. In fact, it looks like they deleted episode 14, which aired last week. Maybe it's returning to CN next month, then?

Episode 15 was on Jetstream... for a few hours.
It now appears Blue Dragon was a failure of epic proportions.

Want to know something funny? When I was on the bus going home from my school once my friend kept mentioning how her little cousin and people from her state love Bakugan.

As long as the Bakugan toys sell (and they sell like hotcakes), it will be on TV.
Also, I like Bakugan, and everytime I see a complaint like this, I feel as if I'm being insulted simply for liking it.

The Blue Dragon episodes were always on Toonami Jetstream for only one week, so why would they have left episode 14 up there any longer?

I don't know how you can come to that assessment at all. They stopped airing it at 14 episodes most likely as a seasonal break. If they intend to air episode 15 on with DAS or another block, then it would make sense to not air them online until after the TV airing so the TV airing would still be the premiere. The fact that they removed episode 15 after only having it up a few hours seems to indicate that they made a mistake putting it up in the first place and that it will return to their network. If that weren't most likely what was occurring, then you have to remember CN couldn't take it off Jetstream without Viz Media's permission since Viz Media owns some stock in Jetstream, and they would probably want to air the rest of the dubbed episodes there.

I don't like Bakugan either but you don't see me trashing it every second. Anyway, isn't this off-topic?
I'm hoping this is just a seasonal break, nothing more, for the show. Blue Dragon was honestly blah in my opinion but it did have its moments and it is cool to see Akira Toriyama designs. Considering Blue Dragon wasn't the worst performer on the block (Robotboy and Bakugan consistently did worse) I won't consider BD a "failure of epic proportions". Maybe it performed "under expectations", but then again we have no clue what CN and Viz were expecting out of the show.

Not really. Both Bakugan and Robotboy did better than BD during the latter half of Blue Dragon's run on DAS. Of course, that may have been because of the later time slot...

Yeah, you're right. It is generally better to skew later in the morning than earlier . . . maybe Blue Dragon indeed has been pulled. 14 episodes is an odd number for a season . . .

I'm sorry that you feel that way. I understand where you're coming from since I would often feel like that when someone bashed a show that I really like, such as Pokemon. I don't hate or like Bakugan, but it does have its moments from what I've seen. Overall, I think that it is okay and if people want to see it, then I say let them enjoy it and live and let live.

Most seasons are 13 or 26 episodes. In this case though its the content that is in the episode that could have led to the season break. Remember the last episode was when Kluke first summoned Phoenix. This led to Kluke being unconscious and Grand Kingdom with their base in the air. Those are two big cliffhangers that are perfect for a seasonal break spot.

Yep, I just saw how episode fifteen is up on Jetstream. It looks like Blue Dragon will be Jetstream exclusive, unless CN puts it back up when they actually want to. At least the series does have a place to air now, even though it is online, and fans can watch it.

KIBA was just put up on Jetstream today too. If Jetstream can acquire all of these action shows, I don't see why CN can't put them on Toonami. It's like they want it to die.

Oh, I thought it was added this week because on the CN homepage it's promoting it as a brand new series. My mistake. But still, if shows like Hikaru No Go and Kiba can be on Jetstream why not put them on Toonami to keep it, and in turn anime, alive and thriving on CN?

Simply put, they don't have the broadcasting rights for them. They only have the streaming rights. ImagianAsian has the broadcast rights for Hikaru No go.

That's true, although it doesn't excuse Blue Dragon's TV absence. And as far as I know, no other channel has the TV rights to Kiba...

Only because Toonami needed something to fill the slot. Blue Dragon originally belonged to the Dynamite Action Squad Block, so it hardly was meant to replace One Piece.
