Why do nearly half the titles have the word "evil" in them? Are they that low on ideas?

I think they were getting low on ideas ever since season 4. Alot of the episode plots were starting to repeat it self.

This is supposedly the last season, right? I heard some crazy stuff about Totally Dunzo like:
Sam marrying Jerry
Pretty weird but I think it may just be a running gag in the episode.

The plot line of Totally Dunzo is jerry tells the spies Sam,Alex,Clover,Britney,Blaine,Dean that he Quits woohp and is going to england with his mom and he won't be coming back. Mandy also becomes friends with the spies. This is from a TS site that I go to some of them already seen TS season 5. The new season mainly focuses on the spies going to school at Mali-U university.

I remember one season where every episode was titled "______ much?". (aside from the halloween episode)

You are right season 3 was mainly titled much. And if it's not Evil or Much then it's totally.

Agreed. I never really hated the show, I would watch it if nothing else was on and I didn't feel like doing anything else, but I didn't really like it either. I also didn't really like the stereotypes of mean cheerleaders and girls being so materialistic. Those were some of my problems with those show. For those of you who do like this show, I do hope that it does air at some point on CN or is released on DVD. Just because I don't particularly like the show doesn't mean I don't want it on. I'll just watch or do something else while the fans enjoy this show instead.

I have sent emails but 1 person is not enough and season 5 should have aired by know. Or you can also tell them on CN video's comment section just make sure you give your email to them.

The only real way to convince a network to start re-airing a show again is to convince them that it would be worth their while monetarily and ratings-wise to do so. Suits don't care about the fans or their favorite shows; they care about ratings and money, period. If DVD and merchandise sales were to suddenly skyrocket, then the suits would take notice for sure.
Another factor to consider is that Totally Spies isn't a CN original, but a 3rd party acquisition; CN may no longer have the broadcasting rights to air the series. If that's the case, then whether or not they want to continue airing TS is moot.

Uh, no. No they can't. If CN no longer has the broadcasting rights to Totally Spies, then they can't air the show anymore. Like I said, it has nothing to do with whether anyone at CN wants to continue running the show or not, it's a business. The only thing CN wants is high ratings, so their main interest in these shows is which ones will bring in the highest ratings and make them the most money. It's got nothing to do with desire (or lack of it) on CN's part.

I'm a he, actually, though I pride myself on being very liberated, and I tend to favor the ladies when it comes to animation. ;)
But if TS is still property of CN Video, then I would say that the best chances of getting the series back on television would be to show your devotion with your dollars, since that's the only language that suits seem to understand.
Let's say hypothetically that the Totally Spies movie came out on DVD, and the sales of it (and subsequently those of the other TS videos) suddenly went through the roof, then that would be sufficient enough evidence to CN that there was still a significant enough viewership for the show, and that could convince them to start re-airing the show.
The only sure way to guarantee the return of any show is to prove to the Powers That Be that doing so would be financially worth their while, especially when it comes to a girl-centric show. Girl-centric shows aren't high on CN's priority list right now, as many of their past attempts to appeal to the girl market have crashed and burned for various reasons, so they'd need to be doubly convinced to take a chance on them.

Totally Mystery Much was awesome! I'm surprised they didn't try to make such crossover sooner. Alex and Martin had great chemistry and its a shame they had to hit the reset button by the end of the episode >.>
If they were to combine the two shows into one I'd bet he'd make for a better show than the sum of its part! :p

It could still air on Jetix at some point. I mean, this kind of show is right up their alley (well, if they were to want a larger female audience, it could work).
Also, CN still has Totally Spies on their site, so they still have the airing rights. Then again, considering the fact that they have shows like Dragon Hunters and Team Galaxy on there, that doesn't mean squat about actually AIRING the episodes.

They already put out 3 dvd's in the USA why not the entire series. I know that a season 2 box set was just released in canada witch if you order online you can buy it since it's region one. If you're going to ask that, you might as well ask why we haven't gotten an entire series DVD release for Dexter's Lab, Cow & Chicken, Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy, Johnny Bravo, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Codename: Kids Next Door, and....well, you get the idea. And those were all CN originals. If CN Video is going to take their sweet time releasing those shows in their entirety on DVD, what makes you think they'll be in any bigger hurry to release the entire series of a 3rd party acquisition?

All of those shows have shown all of it's seasons. Totally Spies has like 32 unaired episodes and it does not look like there going to air them since the last new episode aired in 2006. They should atleast be willing to put the series on dvd since seasons 1 2 and 3 did really well and got high ratings.

Not on DVD they haven't. Some of them have gotten mini-discs consisting of 3 to 4 shorts, but there haven't been entire series DVD sets of any of those shows. Which brings me back to my original point: if CN Video is going to be stingy with releasing entire series sets of the shows which they created and produced themselves, why do you think they're going to be any more generous with a show which they acquired from an outside source?

Coulda, woulda, shoulda. CN should be doing lots of things right now that they aren't. And the ratings for Totally Spies obviously weren't that high, otherwise the show would still be airing on CN now. The girl-centric shows weren't doing all that great for CN, at least not well enough to justify their continuing to air them, so the bigwigs pulled them all. If TS were truly earning monster-sized ratings, then the network would have been insane to stop showing it. A shows' being off the air for 2 years says the ratings must not have been all that spectacular.

Cartoon Network has nothing to do with the licensing of Totally Spies related products. Since it is an acquisition they just have the rights to air the episodes. With shows like PPG and Dexter, Cartoon Network actually owns the series in their entirety and thus they have the right to license other products regarding those series. sorry for 2 post.

2 points regarding that:
1. Teen Titans was a co-production between Cartoon Network and Warner Bros. Animation.
2. Teen Titans received much higher ratings than Totally Spies ever did.
The point that no one seems to want to go near for whatever reason is this: perhaps TS was taken off CN in the first place because it simply wasn't bringing in the ratings that the network wanted, in which case it would stand to reason why CN isn't in a rush to release the entire series on DVD.

You just bypassed my last point: If TS wasn't a huge ratings grabber in the US, then whoever holds the licensing rights to it, be it CN or whomever else, is not going to be in a hurry to release the series on DVD. Why would they be? Corporations don't release DVD sets because they love the fans or because they care about the shows, they do it for the money. Ergo, a high-rated show in popular demand is going to be put on DVD before a show which was only marginally successful and whose following was cult at best.

Corporations don't release DVD sets because they love the fans or because they care about the shows. That's why Shout! Factory is so good... they got all of Oban out in less than half a year. If Marathon had gone to them, we might have seen the same treatment for Totally Spies! (aside from the whole half a year thing).
As for this whole DVD release debacle...
They already put out 3 dvd's in the USA why not the entire series? That was in 2004... four years ago. I hope you see my point. Even if GoodTimes Ent. still has the rights (which I hope they don't, because they did a terrible job), they've shown NO interest in getting the rest of the series to market.
If CN Video is going to take their sweet time releasing those shows in their entirety on DVD, what makes you think they'll be in any bigger hurry to release the entire series of a 3rd party acquisition?First of all, it's not CN Video... that only applies to the online streaming site. Secondly, as Sammie said, Warner Home Video holds no rights to release Totally Spies!, so far as I am concerned.

OK, OK, I'm not arguing that point, but there was a reason why CN ultimately yanked all of their girl-centric shows off the air, that's all. Regardless of whether that will affect the future of TS on TV or DVD or not, there's no denying that fact.

I emailed Marathon Asking them to put TS on dvd and if they ever do so to go to Shout! Factory.Do you know why you want them to go to Shout!? I hope it's not just because I said so... you should really take time to form your own opinion on this sort of thing. There could be other, more qualified distributors (not FUNimation, for what they did all that they refused to do with Code Lyoko and Nelvana's properties).
If I were you, I'd just hope they pursue their dealings with that Canadian company that released Season 2 and Martin Mystery Season 1 way back when. Way back when, as in 2006 (ouch). It's obvious Marathon doesn't really care about their series being released on DVD, or else they'd pursue companies with a record for getting the job done.
Besides, when was the last time a company like Marathon took business advice from fanmail? Obviously, they should in this case, because they look like idiots licensing their properties to companies that can't even finish a commissioned task. The licensee (http://secure.dep.ca/fr/) seems to have an issue (http://secure.dep.ca/en/produit_details.asp?ID=3468) with releasing one box set and then forgetting about the property (http://secure.dep.ca/en/accueil_categorie.asp?CAT=25&type=1) (no Volume 2 in sight). They should focus on this before gloating (http://secure.dep.ca/en/profil.asp).
Or, maybe I'm wrong and the license ran out after an extremely short amount of time. But, I doubt it.

I just emailed them today we have to give them time. I think it would be best for Marathon to go to 20th century fox to put TS on dvd.

This crusade is fine, as long as you understand that it's not as simple as sending Marathon an email saying "This is what I think you should do."
First of all, corporate executives seldom take time out from their careers of making and breaking people and generally being big and rich to read emails sent by fans. And of those who do, an even smaller number of them take them seriously enough to act upon them. How many shows have gotten to DVD because a fan sent somebody an email asking them to? Once again, it's not fandom that gets shows released on DVD; it's money and the promise of surefire profits that do. In order for Totally Spies to get an entire series DVD release, Marathon would have to be convinced that it would be in their best interests financially to do so. I haven't seen any evidence on Marathon's end that they have any such interest on releasing any more of TS to DVD.
Second, it's not as simple as saying, "I think you should go to such-and-such company for this DVD release." There's not one guy who sits in a big chair in an office who makes that decision; TV/Video distribution is a business, and as such, deciding who's going to release a show onto DVD would have to be a business decision. There are a lot of elements to consider and channels which would have to be gone through first.
I'm not saying that your cause isn't a noble one, but I do think you're looking at things a little too simply. Getting an entire DVD release of a TV show is a more involved process than you know.

I think it would be best for Marathon to go to 20th century fox to put TS on dvd. And, I don't. Their track record is awful. Just recently, they got their hands on DiC's Dennis the Menace property, and instated a plan (http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/news/Dennis-Menace-Trouble-Trouble-Everywhere/8525) to release the show (who knows if they have the intent to finish?) on discs (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0010KHORQ/tvshowsondvdcom) containing just SEVEN seven-minute episodes apiece (and, as of yet, they haven't even gotten to making a Volume 2). That's a running time of 49 minutes. DVDs nowadays have the capacity for more than three times that. Why hold back? The show has 78 half-hour episodes, at a running time of approximately 1,638 minutes. And, at the same time, Shout! Factory (again, I only use that studio for comparison's sake) is promising to release the complete series of Liberty's Kids (http://www.amazon.com/Libertys-Kids-Complete/dp/B001B73PO4/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1216335651&sr=8-1), 40 episodes at a running time of 960 minutes.
You clearly didn't do your reasearch.
EDIT: Then again, Fox did create this promising set for the new Fantastic Four (http://www.amazon.com/Fantastic-Four-Worlds-Greatest-Complete/dp/B00157OI9Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1216336623&sr=8-1). But, in a history mired with 50 minute children's DVDs, I'd consider this the exception and not the rule. Any studio is capable of this (http://www.amazon.com/Yu-Hakusho-Season-One-Box/dp/B000F6ZIFQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1216336832&sr=8-1). But, that doesn't mean they're not capable of blunders (http://www.amazon.com/My-Dad-Rockstar-Dads-Debut/dp/B0009MAOK0/ref=pd_bbs_sr_3?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1216336889&sr=8-3) like (http://www.amazon.com/Braceface-Turning-13-Box-Set/dp/B000AARKTE/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1216336941&sr=8-1) these (http://www.amazon.com/Code-Lyoko-Complete-First-Season/dp/B000FQISSU/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1216336965&sr=8-1). Incomplete volume releases and anthologies can coexist among growing collections (http://www.amazon.com/gp/series/92777/ref=pd_serl_dvd?ie=UTF8&edition=dvd). Like Silverstar suggests, it's all about profitability.

Marathon has kept in contact with a TS fan site for years they do read your thoughts. We even had a real interview once and they said they came to the site alot. http://www.tspa.net/index.php?showtopic=5919
So that interview tells me that they do care about fans. They email us alot to http://www.tspa.net/index.php?showtopic=12240
I am just simply making them aware of my thoughts witch I think they might care about judging by them staying in contact for so many years. No I dont really expect TS to be released on DVD anytime soon I was simply hoping it would. Every time I post someone else post Negativity. Why speed time focusing on bad instead of the good. I know that there's not a good chance that it will come to DVD or TV again for that matter but I rather say in my head that there's a small chance than to have in my head all this negative stuff. I mean who knows somthing could happen to make Marathon put TS on DVD you never know.

A negative, or pessimistic, attitude helps cushion the blow when things don't work out the way you want. I still have the verve to go toe to toe with you, but I'm not sure that would be an adequate way to spend my time.
So, cheers; Totally Spies!, season 5 is coming... just not to the United States. I'm out.

New season you say?
That's cool. I was looking forward to the next season.
Now if only people could somehow convince Marathon to hook Nicktoons up with more episodes of Martin Mystery at a faster ratio too, viewers would be all set...
Marathon knows how to design an interesting show.

A lot of shows have title naming convention.
Chuck always had episode title 'Chuck vs.'
Transformers Cybertron had 1 word title
Power Rangers SPD also had 1 word title, then the following year Mystic Force went with 2 words, then 3 words for Overdrive... I think Jungle Fury kept the theme and went with 4 words...
Slayers and now Slayers Revolution has title in alphabetical order with the first episode start with 'A' (ANGRY! Lina's Furious Dragon Slave! and I forgot the one in Revolution...) and so forth.
I think its fun!

That's kind of what I was implying, yes. Not everything in animation has to be a deep ethical and philosophical metaphor for the most profound topics in the world. Even I don't like being deep all the time.
And part of what makes Totally Spies so charming is it's simplicity, in some ways.

Titles are just titles to me; most of the time, I forget them a minute or so after the title card (provided there is one).
