Flapjack question

I just recently got into Flapjack, and I love it. Blasted through all the episodes so far (Tivo'd), but as a newbie to keeping up with Cartoon Network's productions I'm confused.

So there was only 5 episodes made for the first season? Has a second season been ordered yet, or are they waiting to see how this one goes in the ratings.

I hope it does well and we get more, because I haven't been so charmed and enamored by a show of this caliber since Dexter's Lab.

the 1st season is still airing its episodes. so far only 5 have aired but there's a new one scheduled for next thursday!!

There's 13 episodes for season one. I haven't heard anything about a season two yet, but the show seems to be doing well, so I don't see why they wouldn't order a second season.

I think it's too early to know if season two has been picked up but I've got my fingers crossed that it does.

It's weird that the wiki on Flapjack only lists 5 episodes, since usually they list how many were ordered for the initial run.

That's because that's how many episodes have aired

Ratings wise it probably will get a season 2, especially since 2-6 eat it up like hotcakes

The episodes wikipedia lists are the episodes that have aired so far. In season 1, there are still 8 episodes that have to air. Most Cartoon Network shows will end up getting 2 seasons. A show has to do REALLY bad to not get a second season. I think the only show that didn't get a second season was Robot Jones, and that's not because it did bad, it just didn't have studio support. But yeah, you don't have to worry about Flapjack not getting a season 2.

I'll bet almost any amount of money that they will be a second season because it is getting good ratings. Also there should be at least 13 episodes in the first season.

Well, it did technically get two seasons, but both were half-seasons. Like, during production, Flapjack was ordered for 7 episodes. Then CN ordered the other 6 episodes (a half-season) because they apparently liked what they saw. Robot Jones was probably ordered for a first season of 7 episodes, and later ordered 6 episodes for a season two just for the heck of it.

But anyway, Flapjack will get a Season Two.
