First CN lets "crap" and possibly other words slip into the episodes. And now they slip the word "suck(y)" into one of the episode TITLES.
Excuse me a moment...
LOL!!!!!!
Man, that's funny.
Looks like CN is braver than we thought! For that, I salute the network.

Most of CN's target audience has never seen Johto, or heck, might not even know of Johto. They would be about 3 or 4 when Johto first aired, and with little to no reruns of Johto over the years, so they're pretty much "new" to them.

CN has aired some of the Jhoto episodes (all of Jhoto Journies, Jhoto League Champions, and half of Master Quest), but what many people forget is that CN jumped over a lot of episodes when they were airing Poke'Mon. In this case, the episode they are starting with on Monday (Address Unown- season 5 [Master Quest], episode 264) and the episodes past it all the way through Poke'Mon Advance have never been shown on CN, so the advertisement is correct. They are NEW episodes- to CN.

I'm pretty much hating CN's weekday schedules now, I can't see past the overuse of George, Johnny, and Skunk on the network. Thursdays is all that's any interest to me at this point. Anyways, I think this is like the 3rd airing of Wakko's Wish since Memorial Day. Heck, I suppose if people keep watching it enough, we'll eventually get the series back, but it would take A LOT of people watching it consistently every time it airs. Other than that, it's nice to see more Courage on the network again, but it's bad to see less Ed's . And ugh, another live action movie on the Flicks -_-.

Jurassic Park can probably qualify as a hybrid, seeing as how most of those dinosaurs were created using special animation.

So then, you're not okay with Cartoon Network airing Roger Rabbit? Granted, that movie does have a lot more emphasis on cartoons than Jurassic Park, but people don't seem too upset when that or something like Casper airs on the network.
And yeah, I wouldn't count it as animated either, but rather a hybrid.

I just saw the Johto promo this morning and I thought that was pretty cool. I thought that it was weird that they were saying they were new episodes when all of the episode clips were from Master Quest. I guess that they're airing the half of Master Quest that they didn't air before and thus making them new to CN. Interesting. The only down side is that I was looking foreword to seeing more of Johto League Champions, espcially since I have the two Master Quest box sets. Of course, a lot of kids who are into Pokemon now probably weren't young enough to watch and remember Johto so this will be a new experience for them.
Other than that, I'm so looking foreword to watching Superman Doomsday next Saturday. It may have some scary moments for me, it most likely will, but I still would like to watch a good movie on Toonami for a change of pace.

Why do they have to switch to Pokemon Master Quest when I was just getting into Johto. The Johto episodes were all new to me since I didn't have WB at the time and my local fox stopped airing Pokemon at 6:30am on Saturdays. Oh well I love the Master Quest episodes.

Whoa...just looked at the episodes listed to air, and it turns out that they're starting at season six. It has the last 13 or so episodes of Master Quest and then Pokémon: Advanced will follow immediately afterwards. So yeah, these will be new episodes to Cartoon Network, since they never played season six episodes outside the gigantic Pokémon marathon last year.
Man, now I kinda regret dropping cable. I haven't seen those episodes in several years, and I wanted to see how they held up.
EDIT: Oh, I guess bigddan already pointed this out. My bad.

I'm still kind of surprised that they're going that far. I think that CN only aired Master Quest episodes up until the episode where Ash and his friends meet two hundred year old Ninetails. Or somewhere close around there. I kind of feel disappointed that they're airing those episodes since I wanted to see some episodes of Johto League Champions. Too bad that I slept in until eight most of the time and couldn't catch those epsiodes.
On the bright side, at least those episodes that they're playing are avaliable in box set form. You would probably have a hard time finding a Master Quest box set outside of an online store, but you could probably find either volume of Advance in a store.

What's really weird is 4Kids.tv also has episodes of Skunk Fu! online. I didn't know that different companies could have streaming rights to the same show.
But anyway, I'm off to watch me some episodes of Total Drama Island. About time they added it.

Well, it makes sense, since those shows get pretty good ratings. They also added Mike Lu & Og 2 weeks back. The bad thing is that usually, for every show they put on, one is taken off. In only the past few months, Billy and Mandy, Evil Con Carne, Ed Edd n' Eddy, and Time Squad have all been taken off.

That's true for little kids. As for me, I just get nervous sometimes if the violence/blood is above my comfort zone. I'm sensitive like that. If the intensity of the movie is around the levels of a JLU episode, then I doubt that I'll feel too nervous.

Yep. I definitely remember a Borders near where I live having the second volume of Advance a few months ago. I don't think that it was there the last time I was there, they had the Pokemon Tenth Anniversary collection set instead, but I think that I've seen some Advance sets around a nearby Best Buys store not too long ago as well.

Ya, I don't think the first one has CGI in it. Animatronics were definatly used, because the guy who did them died recently. Odds are the 3rd one had CGI though since the technology was there. But it really doesn't count IMO. I mean, when you think of Jurassic Park, do you think cartoons?

Exactly, if it has nothing to do with cartoons, I don't count it as animated. Since stuff like Roger Rabbit and Looney Tunes: Back in Action have to do with cartoons a lot, I count them as hybrids. Cuz in todays age of filming with so many fantasy/sci-fi plots, CGI is often used, which means you could call so many things hybrids.

Yes, that was most definitely the best. I don't think any new movie franchise that CN sets up could top the original Cartoon Theater. And oh, lice action movies, whether related to cartoons or not, first came to CN around 2004. The earlier ones had some sort of cartoon background (Scooby Doo, Son of the Mask) but now they're just throwing whatever they want on.

Since when did Cartoon Network go from airing 'cartoon movies' to 'movies that vaguely have some form of animation, but not really, it's still live action no matter which way you defend it'.
I think sometime around 2005. It's nothing new.

Maybe, who knows. In my opinion, it's better than the show being completely unavailable to American legally, unless Viz is actually thinking about putting this on DVD.

The first DVD is scheduled for release in September (5 episodes, dub only), but who knows if VIZ will continue after that...

Watching the ladder episodes of Pokemon Master Quest, it brings back memories on how sad it was an era was ending. It was the end for so many things, it was sad today to see some of Ash's Pokemon appear for the last time. And tommorow is the ending of Ash and Gary's rivalory.

Those wanting to see "Gauntlet" on Toonami won't get a chance. They'll be jumping to "Be-Knighted" this Saturday on Toonami, but 10 of the 11 episodes will be available to see on Saturday, and "Paradox" will be shown again on Sunday, so you can see the entire series that has been shown in a two day period this weekend. The full schedule:
Saturday, June 12
10:00AM- Ben 10: Alien Force (NEW) "Be-Knighted"
12:00PM- Ben 10: Alien Force- "Ben 10 Returns, Part 1"
12:30PM- Ben 10: Alien Force- "Ben 10 Returns, Part 2"
5:30PM- Ben 10: Alien Force- "Everybody Talks About the Weather"
6:00PM- Ben 10: Alien Force- "Kevin's Big Score"
6:30PM- Ben 10: Alien Force- "All That Glitters"
7:00PM- Ben 10: Alien Force- "Max Out"
7:30PM- Ben 10: Alien Force- "Pier Pressure"
8:00PM- Ben 10: Alien Force- "What Are Little Girls Made Of"
8:30PM- Ben 10: Alien Force- "Gauntlet"
9:00PM- MOVIE: Superman: Doomsday (NEW; CN Premiere)
10:30PM- Ben 10: Alien Force- "Be-Knighted"
Sunday, June 13
11:30AM- Ben 10: Alien Force- "Be-Knighted"
9:00PM- Ben 10: Alien Force- "Paradox"
9:30PM- Ben 10: Alien Force- "Be-Knighted"
I find this a strange move by CN. They have the next new episode, "Plumber's Help" airing on June 19 at 10 AM, but then they have Paradox airing that night on Toonami. I can't figure out why they are airing "Be-Knighted" this week and then going backwards, for at least one and probably two weeks.
Wow Jurassic park 3 again well that stinks
If only they kept casper I really wanted to watch it during Halloween but CN and gave it Stars.
Anyway I hope Superman Dooms day is Toonami since looking at the schedule Its Ben10 with the movie and the commercial didn't mention Toonami but I'm expecting Toonami to still air unless it gets the week off for a dumb reason
