C&C - Bleach - "Aizen Stands Out! His Terrifying Ambition" [4/26]

Last time: Captain Hitsugaya finds out the shocking secret that Aizen is really evil all along! Aizen before that stabs Momo which puts Hitsugaya in a state of rage and releases his bankai which.. Aizen beats in just one stab. Aizen then gets Tosen who ALSO works for him to grab Rukia and Renji and take them to the execution grounds..

Today: What is Aizen's master plan? And with Rukia involved somehow can Ichigo save her even though he just fought Byakuya!?

Aizen is more like Palpatine than I excepted. He is evil in a dangerious, intense way. With the power to back it up. Very cool. :cool:

I like how he turned the good guys' world upside down.

But he made one mistake, he decided to monolog and left himself wide open in mid-sentence.

And talk about a screwy cliffhanger. "AIZEN!!"

I really feel bad for the humans in this series. No matter how much they train and how strong they get, someone is always there to kick the living crap out of them. Even their victories don't really feel like victories.

Pretty good episode with a ton of revelations. Though, I'm a bit irritated by the whole "EVERYTHING was planned from the very beginning" angle to it.

Things I Wanted To Point Out Last Week But Didn't One: For those of you hopign that at least Momo or Hitsaguya would die, you forgot super healer Unohana was around. If she could take of Renji's incredible super unbelievable blood bath of a fight from episode 52, she should be able to do the same here.

Things I Wanted To Point Out Last Week But Didn't Two: Also on Hitsaguya: he's not weak. Aizen's just that strong. I can easily defeat the main character with just one finger and actually mean it and do it strong.

Things I Wanted To Point Out For Awhile But Didn't Three: One Thing I hate about this episode is how it interrupts the battles that were going on previous. Yeah guess Yourouchi/Soi Fon was done, but what about the battle between the 1st captain vs the 8th and 13th? What was the point of all that build up if now it dosen't mean anything now that they all know the truth? To me that's a pretty dramatic load of bullcrap I have to take off points for.

Still this episode to me was really good. Okay yeah it was pretty wordy (and the whole "I'm Ruika and you're suffociating me so comedy punch" scene was SOOOOOO not needed) but I can ignore that in favor of Aizen. I don't care who says he was robotic: Kyle Herbert really knows how to play his calculating evil side very well and I just loved him tearing through Renji and Ichigo like they were nothing. Seriously how many times do you see the heroes loose so absolutley like that after a big team work planning moment such as that? Not to often. Also though it is sort of convulted how Aizen was behind everything (the guards posted at the area Ichigo was out, sending out Gin to take care of them, making them have to use the fireworks bomb to make they're escape, setting up Momo so she would kill herself against fighting Izuru or Hitsaguya, knowing about uharhara planting the soyouku in Ruika that made her untrackable and super weak, creating those hollows we saw from the lientuants flashback and the one took over Kaien, and as someone else said pretty much everything in this entire freaking arc) it at least ties the entire arc together. See it wasn't about Ichigo rescuing Ruika from Soul Society: It was having Aizen Maniuplate Ichigo to rescue Ruika to cause a panic so he could stay in the shadows and make his move to gain the power of hollows to take his skills to the next level. Cool as it is convulted. And the ending is cool too with Konohama crashing down on Aizen like that. I'm glad I watched what happened after this though because really if I didn't I'd be jumping to find out what happens next. Very good stuff from Bleach this week despite battles skipped and giant lumps of exposition and the like.

The thing I really like about Aizen, besides his overall 'bad ass i'm better than you are' personality change, is that he kind of cuts to the chase pretty quickly. If he wants something, he's going to get it. AFTER knocking down Renji and Ichigo does he begin to fully explain himself, instead of going on a long 'the enemy can attack me at any time' rant before hand.
It's amazing too see how much larger his power actually is compared to the others. Even captains can't stand long around him. When he cought Ichigo's sword I almost smiled.
It's nice to see a villain who really captures the essence of being a bastard; his tone, his sarcasm, his expressions. He practically defines the word.
Ohhh but we love him anyways.

Renjiiiiikuuuunnnn! You're pretty even when you're being beaten up. Mayuri shows his true self...as he's showering in front of Nemu. Right. Ok.

Next episode makes the fangirls of the world scream with joy. Ultimate, powerful, joy.

And thats why Aizen is one of my all time favorite villians. To put it simply, hes got style.You got that right. And it's not just his clothing, his personality and quiet intensity sets you on edge.

He's powerful and realizes he doesn't have to show that power off.

He's a villian with a dozen aces up his sleave and he know it.

Aizen is in my top ten all time favorite villians list.

Aizen is right up there with Palpatine, Xanatos (Gargoyles), Evil/Dark Coop (Megas XLR), Naraku (Inuyasha) and Unicron.

I liked seeing Renji's devotion to Rukia....He made the mistake of letting her go before,and he's never going to do it again(I'm a fan of the Renji/Rukia pairing)...
I felt awful for Ichigo and Renji...both working together against Aizen,they're still badly beaten...
Aizen is extremely evil/manipulative,but he's also smart(he waits until AFTER defeating Ichigo and Renji to explain how he set everything up),and a strong fighter....I kinda like him,though he's not one of my favorites...
...and we finally learn the real reason for Rukia's capture/attempted execution...

Now as for my thoughts on this episode

Well to begin with Aizen is one evil villain but of course like all evil new villains he will be omega powerful and kick the heroes butt and then later on the hero will get some new upgrade and will fight the villain and have matched power..

But anyways man the best part of this episode had to be Ichigo and Renji teaming up which looked very awesome until.. well the song failed on them. Ichigo this is what happens when you rely on a song that helped you for 60 episodes...

And the ending was completely fast and random

Aizen is a genius. He planned and predicted everything out all this time to work to his favor. I'm trying to figure out Gin and Tosen's reasons for joining him...or what their roles are.

Next episode looks epic.....so I'll be avoiding the board due to episode title.:p

Yeah, we also didn't get to see Rengiku's battle. I don't understand why the anime doesn't animate these battles. Even if they weren't in the manga, you'd figure that eventually they're going to need to make filler in the anime, so they might as well make filler that people want to see.

You know, you'd figure that healer lady would tell the other people about Aizen's power. That way they would learn to fight him with their eyes closed.

Ok, first, shouts to the poster who does line of the night. Not trying to steal anyone schtick, but that was it for me.
Aizen does what few supervillians seem to do these days. actually accomplish the goals they attempt. So far, everything is going his way so well......that he can explain what he has been doing????? granted, that is always the villians fall from grace, Aizen is doing it so well, that I actually started to think that it was believible that he couldn't be stopped in time.

Of course, that was before the Soul Society Emergency Responce Signal that alerts everyone of everything going on. I didn't like that part so much as it was a cop out of gatering everyone on the same side quickly.

As for Aizen himself, to stop someone's power music, while TWO characters are using it, with ONE FREAKING FINGER!!!! it was so powerful that most people on this board have already expressed some kind of opinion about it.
As for "Shippo's Daddy" showing up at the end, I actually liked the fact that the re-enforcements actually are arriving in time to do some good.

Very true, I loved the one finger, BANKAI stoppage that he did. music didn't fade away, it got stopped, earased, ejected from desired machine, and crushed under a passing car.

Aizen applied psychological warfare on the heroes in explaining how Urahara used, abused and screwed to the wall, Ichigo, Rukai and their friends.

You don't usually have villians that are so throughly sadistic.

Aizen must be the Orochimaru of this series: everything is his fault.

Just finished watching my recording of this and wow, Aizen is quite the a-hole. Being responisible for almost everything and making two innocent people into his pawns. And to think he's able to stop Ichigo with only his index finger.
