View Full Version : What parodies, spoofs, or sketches do you want to see on Robot Chicken?

I figured I might ask. For me it's:
Naruto (This needs to be at least as long as the Dragonball Z one. I could see it now. He continuously says Believe It and Sasuke fireballs his butt)
Static Shock
Sonic and its falling popularity
Something about the upcoming presidential election
Death Note (This could actually be comic gold)
And just for a WTF factor
A kid finds a R.O.B. that was never played with and it attacks him. Then it tries to make the uprising of 2-D and a lot of 2-D game characters fight against their 3-D counterparts
Draft

The R.O.B. one would be pretty good and fits RC IMO
Static Shock is just a lil' weird for RC, since they mainly spoof 80's stuff, and they already have plenty of Superhero sketches
Death Note would prolly turn out bad (Death Note Chicken Style prolly, which might be funny now that I think about it)

So many to name.
Avatar: The Last Airbender - I love to see their take on that show. Maybe Aang goes through puberity in the middle of the epic battle with the Fire Lord.
Pokemon (Anime show) - I think Pikachu appeared on the show before, but I don't remember. Do it again, this time use Team Rocket
Kenan and Kel (comedy team, not the actully show) - Something like the Two Corys sketch, Kenan and Kel save the world using their old comedy antics such as Orange soda. But only if Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchel are able to guest voice. If it just someone doing an impression of them, than forget it.

Captain N: The Gamemaster is ripe for parody, with such things as the innaccutate depictions, silly plots, and the stupid henchmen.
Then there's Captain Planet, while I loved the Ted Turner skit, why not a an actual parody. Maybe Ted would show up with one point.

The only one of the anime suggestions that makes sense (as in a lot of people recognize it) would be Naruto. That's potential comic gold.
Also, Seth will most likely do a parody of American Gladiators. It's overdue.

As someone suggested, they should try a skit where the Planeteers face off against the deadly Duke Nukem (the gun toting version from his own video game series).

I'd like to see Robot Chicken tackle the world of Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids. Possibly a Boyz in the Hood parody, or something similar. "It's not cool to take part in a drive by shooting."
Or possibly even Out of Jimmy's Head: Jimmy parents think Jimmy is crazy for seeing cartoon characters and have him committed (It would be great if RS could get the actual actors from OOJH to provide their voices).

Those are all good ideas, especially Captain N and Out of Jimmy's Head. A Captain N spoof explains itself, and there are lots of things about OOJH which could be spoofed (Jimmy being crazy, his parents being neglectful and/or incompetent, Yancy's being a green alien, how the Roberts have a supervillain living in their house, etc.)
I'd like to see RC do something with Mighty Orbots, but that might be too obscure.
Perhaps a Muppet Babies parody, or maybe something pitting Mario against Sonic, a la the Heathcliff VS Garfield trial sketch. Possibly have the 2 mascots fight it out in an ultimate fighting arena or something similar.
I could easily see them doing a Naruto parody at some point, since, like Dragonball Z, it's popular enough to be easily recognized (While I wouldn't mind seeing it,I don't think Death Note or Inuyasha's quite popular enough for Robot Chicken to parody)...Also,they could probably get most or all of the English VAs to voice their characters (I know they've had Iruka's VA,Quinton Flynn,on before)....
I wouldn't mind another "Muppet" parody....(They've done a "Muppet Show" one ("Behind the Music: Electric Mayhem"),and a "Sesame Street" one ("Big Bird has the bird flu"),and one with the Swedish Chef from the Muppet Show)....Maybe "Fraggle Rock"....or "Dinosaurs" or even "The Dark Crystal"....
Maybe a full-length "Jem" parody....she's appeared briefly in a couple other skits...Maybe something like Jerrica being too stupid to realize that everyone knows she's Jem...

I'd like to see a skit done like those old wonder twin shorts AS had around 2003 where their teen trouble alert goes off while theyre in the midst of fighting say darkseid, they help the teens, and then come back to find the world or at least the city under the rule of said villain. Granted it would be more effective in animated form (especially since there were no wonder twins figures) but the RC format could work for it as well.

It'd be hard to make a decent parody of Family Guy. The show is already so nutty with it's "How much can we get away with?" stance going over the top, how much further can one push the envelope?

This is kind of obscure, but it would be amusing to see RC do something with either The Robonic Stooges or The Super Globetrotters. You know, point out how way-out a concept it was to try to portray the Three Stooges (or Harlem Globetrotters) as superheroes.

Kids, Incorporated is pretty obscure, but Robot Chicken has done obscure before (heck, the spoofed Big Jim and Crystar in season 3).
One question, though: why toss Freddy Krueger into a Kids, Incorporated skit? That seems kind of random. Or is there some connection between the 2 that I'm missing?

As long as they don't involve still more torture and grisly murders, anything they want to parody is all right with me.
I have no problem with violence per se, but geez, about 80% of the last season and half's worth of sketches involve dismemberment, cruelty and characters blowing each other away. Think of something new fer crissakes.

Freaky Friday the 13th: Lindsay Lohan and Jason Voorhees switch bodies, and nobody can tell the difference.
Unlike most of the ideas in this thread (most involving anime), this idea actually seems like something RC would do.
The thing about Hannah Montana is, Seth, Matt, Doug, Tom and all those other guys probably just know her from her risque pictures, being the son of Billy Ray Cyrus, and selling a ton of concert tickets. So what they'll probably do is show Miley as a country hick whore, and then her dad will come down to straighten her out, and there'll probably be references to Alec Baldwin and the concerts, the photos, and the skit'll probably end in a gruesome death for Miley, and possibly other people.

Raggedy Ann, the plot is Raggedy Ann goes on a killing spree. The premese is Raggedy Ann meets Child Play and various Twilight Zone episodes.
