During the Ben 10 marathon, they're showing cool pop-up facts. Some stuff we already know.

Some we didn't know.

I don't know if people already found out, but the Ben 10 series does in fact take place during his 3 month summer break.

I'm missing half of the marathon because of my parents watching golf. :sweat: The odd bits of info were interesting though. Didn't know that the charms were actually alien tech. :shrug:

I guess that's how Kevin gone back to normal, well almost normal and how he lost the aliens.

I just learned that the reason Vilgax ended up in outer space after his spaceship blew up in episode #13 was because he tried to teleport out and there was a malfunction.

Also I found out that Kevin's human DNA will slowly be restored as he gets older.

I always wondered those things so it's good that they finally reveal it!

In Ben 10,000, the reason Animo has a gorrilla body is because he experimented with his own in an effort to makes his body similar to Kevin 11.

Apparently, Vilgax came from "the Shadow Realm". (cue Yu-gi-oh! jokes. :p )

Some of them were. If I had to guess, some of those facts were true, and some of them were a joke.

By the way, I think of Ben 10: Alien Force the same way as I think of Ben 10: Race Against Time. It is just retelling of the story, not completely canon to the original. Ben 10 is know for just retelling stories, which is confusing.

Well, they did say that on one of Kevin's escapes he started a family on one of the colonies of Saturn. And I would think that Ben would know if Gwen had a kid.

Also, they did say this is a possible future, but not definite.

I stopped watching by 6:20, so I missed a lot of them.

You should check out Back To The Future Part 3, what Doc says at the end, rings true here. The future is not writen yet. It is what we make it. That is the way I look at it.

I forgot about Ken's pet, that is Charmcaster's pet. So in that timeline, Gwen probably killed Charmcaster, or the pet reformed.

Speaking of that, I had a wild thought, maybe Devlin's mom is Charmcaster. Probably not because Devlin turned out to be good, he had to get that from his mother, so is mother can't be a villain like his father. Still Kevin and Charmcaster, they would make a good evil couple.

They used to live on the same planet as the Frankenstein aliens, but the Frankensteins captured a bunch of Heatblast aliens and used them to genocide the Vampire aliens.

Someone said that Man of Action said that Ken 10 is not canon, meaning it is not official.

I highly doubt Gwen would kill Charmcaster, the heroes on this show aren't the type to kill, otherwise Ben 10K would have killed Kevin 11K for attacking his son and not just sent him back to the Null Void.

Though speaking of Charmcaster, her birthplace was mentioned in the fact that popped up during Gwen's appearance in Ben 10. Wonder if that'll hold any importance for a Gwen-based storyline in Alien Force. It did also mention in the pop-up facts of Divide & Conquer that Gwen's skill in magic "isn't as related to studying spells as Gwen thinks." Wonder what that means? :confused:

One of the facts earlier was something to the effect of "Gwen has lots of latent power, which makes her an excellent match with the charms". It's just saying that her power is innate rather than learned.

Possibilities, she was born with the power to do it, could have been infused with it the multiple times she got injured from magic attacks over and overa again, etc. We shall see. :yawn:

Personally, I'm hoping it's in her family background or something. Then we could have a storyline about it, with Charmcaster, Hex, or some new wizarding baddie to contend with. That would be a nice break from all the alien stuff of the alien show named Alien Force. :p

That's true, though I do wonder that if that was the case, why didn't the thing have blue-colored markings rather than purple-colored markings? (Blue and Purple are Gwen and Charmcaster's "magic colors" respectively.)

True, but the one loophole in the heros don't kill anyone rule, is if it is in self defense. If Gwen didn't have a choice, she had to kill Charmcaster or Charmcaster would kill Gwen and / or innocent bystanders.

I doubt it myself that happened, but heros can kill villains in certain circlemstances, and not look like blood thirsty killers.

Ah yes, that is indeed true. Reminds me of Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker when Terry (incorrectly it would turn out, but still thinking logically) suggested that Bruce had killed The Joker because there had been no other choice.

It was probably that kind of situation that caused Ben 10K to kill Vilgax, since he was dead at the start of Ben 10,000. Still, can't see Charmcaster, or anyone that was in the Negative 10, doing something extreme enough to warrant death.

You are over-analyzing. :p I don't think the marking colors have anything to do with the magic powers. Also, she was using Charm's spellbook.
