This is the talkback thread for "Ben 10 Season Four" Coming in August (http://news.toonzone.net/article.php?ID=22970).

Well, I suppose the animated film is considered part of the usual 13 episode order, which is a bit of a shame, to be honest.

Well this is kind of weird. We're going to have Ben 10 and B10 Alien Force airing new episodes at the same time... well if Rugrats and All Grown Up could pull it off, oh wait, they didn't. never mind. :D

Wait... what? This is for the DVD release. S4's already done and over with. There are no more episodes of the original series left to air.

Well, I think their is that "lost" episode, but it will premire before Alien Force.

O whoopsidaisies... that was my fault. I wasn't sure what season Ben 10 was in and assumed that Jacob meant that the actual season will begin airing in august. Sry!

Ben 10 wasn't a series I would've bought. He came off as an uncaring, insensitive jerk. Just when you thought he'd mature, he slides right back down the slope.

With this new series, I might give it a shot. Ben has matured, and from what I've read, has self-doubts about himself, isn't as selfish, if at all, as he used to be. He has definitely turned into a character I could like.

Now, this may be off topic, but was the Ken 10 episode cannon? I mean, we see that in the new series Kevin is human again. And in the future episode, he's human. So does that mean that somewhere between B10:AF and Ken 10, Kevin reverts back to his old ways?

Great, you Ben 10 fans get the complete series on DVD in the circulation of over 1 year, while us EEnE fans have waited for that length to get season 3 out.

Hope you enjoy it.

That's actually an aspect of Ben that I liked; he actually acted like a ten-year-old boy instead of a twenty-year-old trapped in a ten-year-old's body like most young characters do (coughGwencough). I didn't much care for his attitude, of course, but he acted his age.

There is no possible way you could be more correct. Ben 10's aired for abooout three years and you have the whole series, meanwhile its been almost a decade that Ed Edd n' Eddy has aired and we don't have half the series. Same goes for Dexter's lab, PPG, Johnny Bravo.

I'm assuming Ben 10 has the advantage of being CN's merchandising darling.

But it seems as if Warner is cutting back on Animation DVD's all around, since only a few of the most popular titles are on the cards for 2008.

The movie is considered to be a three-part episode, This is made clear at the Cartoon Network Web site, where they are listed as the first 3 episodes of season 4 (40-42). Expect them to finally stop airing it in a movie format after Ben 10 week, since Ben 10 will have weekday reruns and they can air it as 3 episodes during the weekday reruns.

This is great, I look forward to the DVD. I already have seasons 1-3 on DVD need to buy this one. Now does it also include the animated movie?

Edit;

I hope they begin having Ben 20 Aliean Force on DVD seasons sets once season one is over.

And we don't even have Season Three yet. And Ben 10 has been around for only a quarter of that time, and has all it's seasons out.

No need to be bitter. Ben 10 is obviously making the money.

Even if the movie's in 'episode' format, CN won't air it as such. They've yet to air 'House of Bloo's' (The Foster's pilot) beyond movie form.

that's pretty much true. Wouldn't work as well if aired in an episodic format.
