Unless I'm mistaken, this is Jacob's first TZ review!

The splash image makes Jacob's review sound more negative than it really is, but he does say that Ben has done a lot of maturing over the last "five years."

Yeah, I thought the image sounded negative as well, but after reading it, it does sound positive, and showed how the character has matured. But then again that could be that I wasn't fond of Ben being a major jerk for the series. Seemed Jacob major complaint was that he wasn't fond of the VA for the main cast. I'll give them more episodes to judge the VA, but that could be the fan of Pokemon in me.

On a side note: I thought any of the episode that took place in the future, weren't really canon.

I may have a theory to what will cause Kevin to go from bad to good to bad. Remember what Ghostfreak said about an Ecto-nurite's subconcious can exist even in a single strand of DNA. When Kevin adsorbed the energy of the Omnitrix, he also absorbed Ghostfreak's energy as well. I wouldn't be surprised if Kevin will split himself (one good, one bad) and something will happen to the good him.

As to where or not something is canon from the old series almost seems pointless to discuss at this point due to the major changes that seem to have been made.

Although I am sure I mentioned I liked Lowenthal it just the other two I was not fond of.

Yeah, you did mention Yuri being the better of the new VA, and it is kind of pointless to discuss if things like Ken 10 or Ben 10,000 was canon or not. But that doesn't change the fact that I always thought of Ken 10 being that season filler, but luckily it was filler, done right.

Sounds soo cool I can't wait for it. I hope Kevin doesn't stay good for long, maybe as a season 1 or 2 finale they can shock us all and have him go bad. But yah I'm happy Ben doesn't stop making fun of Kevin I hope its vice versa becuase seeing rivalry between them on the main team would be some fun :D

If you like "henshin", the genre Power Rangers lends itself to, I assume you might find some worthwhile stuff in this show.

I am actually interested in this series due to how the characters have changed. I occasionally watched Ben 10 if there wasn't anything else on, but that doesn't mean that it was bad. Just something that didn't attract me so much. Plus, Ben's attitude, along with Gwen in some cases, kind of annoyed me. Perhaps the maturity of both characters will make me like this series a bit better. Besides that, all of the constant promos I'm seeing on CN want me to at least give the series premiere a shot. It does look interesting from what I have seen and read though.

The highbreed reminds me of those aliens from Justice League in the first 3 episodes.

Also, I wish they didn't have to get rid of all of Ben's old aliens since some of them only got one appearance and that's it (Benwolf,Upchuck, Eyeguy, and Waybig).:shrug:

Well from the preview it would seem Kevin is thinking with his head (no the other one) around Gwen.
