If it true that in 2004, there was new Powerpuff girl shorts called "Powerpuff Girls, Dream in Style"? A google cache snapshot of the PPG wikipedia page said that there was.

Quote:
"There have also been shorts entitled "Powerpuff Girls, Dream in Style" that were released in Aug. 2004, around when Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends aired. It followed the girls with a new look, and in their teenage years, fighting crime in style, with such things as make up, shoes, clothes, etc."

I know that wikipedia is not always correct, but this seems interisting if it was true. Sort of like an extended "City of Clipsville" segment.

I do remember an episode when the Power puff girls were teenagers. I think it aired on a night where there was a marathon of back to back powerPuff Girls and HiHi Puffy Ami yumi...

All I can remember is an episode with them being teenagers but they didn't have any special clothes or anything.

There's also a website that has them in a weird animated style where you can accessorize and whatnot.

The only thing that I can think of is the merchandise that was sold a few years ago where they were teenagers.

The PPG Style movement wasn't a short or an episode of the show, it was a merchandising campaign launched in 2004, featuring the Girls redesigned as teenagers with emphasis on their more stylized hair and clothes. It was basically an attempt to make the PPG franchise more applicable to teenage girls. PPG Style was mainly just merchandise; the only TV animation depicting it was a 'filler' segment which aired once or twice on CN, featuring the 'stylish' versions of the girls and their co-stars and villains.

That makes sense, since the only PPG Teenage thing I've ever saw was a faux-clip show episode of the series. At least I think none of those things shown actually happened.

Silverstar's correct. It was just a fashion line with maybe a 1 minute flash commercial/episode. The PPGs were drawn more sleeker but that's about it.

^Yeah. I was going to post some pics of how the Girls looked in PPG Style, but I couldn't find any. A Google image search turned up squadoosh.

I found a video of PPGStyle on YouTube a while ago. I'll post it up now, but if the mods don't feel that it's fair game(which I think it might just be), then they can feel free to delete it.

That's definitely it. The website was working last year, I guess they finally got around to deleting it.

No that was the shorts. No can post an episode of a show unless the network doesn't really care about it. That's why you can see Megas episodes there (well, they were there the last time I checked).

Yeah, the episode you were thinking about was a season 6 episode that spent the entire episode making fun of clip shows by "remembering" all sorts of things that never happened, like being teenagers that had crushes on the Rowdyruff Boys (and vise versa) and Mojo marrying the Professor.

"I have always loved you."

Yeah, wasn't really that funny.

True, but neither are most fanfics, which many of the 'clips' in that short were based on.

Ah, the PPG Style video. It's all coming back to me now....

It was a uniquely weird viewing experience, but I've got to admit, I kind of liked the song.

I was expecting something like that Flashback episode, but this is cool too. Anyone else notice the Broccoli aliens?

FTR, The short people are talking about here is "The City of Clipsville". As previously stated, the 'clips' in that short were all fake, many of them were based off of fan fiction ideas.

Personally, it was one of my fav post-movie eps. I thought it was dead-on with it's parody of the cheesyness of clip shows.
