Basically just the name the new season is going by. No episode titles are listed.
Season premiere is 4/12 at 9:30 AM.

Diamond & Pearl Battle Dimension? I think that's the longest subtitle the series has had yet...
In any case, I look forward to the new season, as well as the new theme song.

I question if that even fit what instore for this season. But then again considering that in Japan episode DP074 just aired and the only recent info for the season goes up to DP076, I guess it too early to tell. Lucky for this it seems that we might get a new theme out of it.

Oh, I see. Thanks, they should really fix that site though.
This has to be the longest title for Pokemon...ever. I don't even see how this fits with the upcoming episodes, unless they're refering to 1 upcoming episode, which is really "dimensiony"

Why can't it just be "Battle Dimension"? Why do they have to add "Diamond and Pearl" to it?

Why can't it just be "Battle Dimension"? Why do they have to add "Diamond and Pearl" to it? :shrug:Yeah its not like Pokemon Diamond and Pearl isn't selling copies still. I guess its still trying to advertise the games. I hope they don't say something like "The game is still new more pokemon for you" or something like that. "Its a brand new game and a brand new world" was the worst part of season 10's opening.

They'll probably keep "Diamond and Pearl" in the title to let you know its part of the same series. Remember, all three seasons of Hoenn kept "Advance" in the title till the end.
I imagine the third season of Sinnoh will also keep "Diamond and Pearl" and add yet another subtitle to it.
The title is a little long for my tastes. I kinda wish they'd named the Diamond and Pearl seasons "Pokemon DP"--similar to how the Johto episodes were originally going to be called "Pokemon GS," IIRC--or something short and catchy, though I understand the desire to make it recognizable to fans of the newest games.

Despite being a long title, Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Battle Dimension does have a cool ring to it. I guess that it doesn't fit in with most of the episodes that have aired in Japan so far, based on other people's comments. I do agree with CyberCube that they're probably keeping Diamond and Pearl to let people know that it is still the same series. Well, as long as there's a new theme song and it's better than the last one we got, I'll be happy with that title. I'm definitely looking foreword to seeing it next weekend.

Dimension ehy. I guess it makes sence. I wonder what the logo will look like. But that's for the heads up on the new season's name. 4/12 is next week, so I'll start putting together the talkback for April.
Edit: guess one episode to start out, I think it would be better if they had a two episode permire, but whatever.

I wonder how long the theme song will be. Please make it more then 30 seconds long >_> 45 seconds is good enough.
Oh BTW. At Pokemon.com someone asked about season 11 intro in the mailbag section and PUSA said that it will not be a rap. So thats good.

I don't think that it is a good idea to start off with two episodes. We're pretty close to the Japanese version, in terms of episode numbers. I think we're only about twenty two or twenty three episodes behind, but I'm not one hundred percent sure. The point is that they probably won't have two new episodes for awhile so that Japan can air more episodes and they can have more time to work on those episodes when they eventually get them.
I've trying to find out what next week's eppy is called but can't find any titles listed anywhere.
I'm pretty sure that they haven't announced it yet. I go to Serebii daily and they often have the new dub titles posted there, but they haven't gotten them yet.
By the way, I saw a commercial for the new episodes for next Saturday and the title Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Battle Dimension was confirmed to be the new title. Just wanted to point that out.

Well, the translated Japenese titles for the next few episodes are:
The Tears of Chimchar!
Gardenia & Cacnea! Farewell is for whom?
Aipom & Buizel! Respective Roads!
Just from the titles, it look like 3 good episodes to start out the season.

Maybe someday they'll just go with a direct translation.

There are two episodes of One Piece called "The Great Escape."
Oddly enough, the first "The Great Escape" was the beginning of season 3 (77-104), while the second "The Great Escape" was the 4Kids finale.

Pokemon.com has been updated with the next episode title. It's called "Tears for Fears". Seems to involve Chimchar.
Anyway any one have any predictions or hopes for this season?(This only applies to U.S. viewers, I guess) I predict Ash will get his next three badges and Dawn will get two more ribbons. I also think Brock will get a bigger role or more episodes focused on him.
As for my hopes, I hope Team Rocket's speech is revised to be abit more similar to the 4Kids style writing. Also I'm hoping Team Galactic makes some more apperances.
P.S. Japanese viewers, can you please not post any spoilers on future episodes. I realize you might be able to answer some of my predictions, but I'd like to be suprised when I seen the episodes air in the US. Thanks.

That wouldn't surprise me since the Japanese version is still using the first opening. PUSA would probably want some new opening scenes to make it look more like a new season, along with the new subtitle. Of course, it could be just a rumor, but it still feels like a possible one to me.
I get the feeling that PUSA is running out of pun titles.

For some reason, I doubt that they would stop usuing pun titles. If they were going to go with direct translated titles, they probably would have done that by now instead of doing the same thing 4Kids was doing with the titles, as well as other aspects of the show.

That would be a good choice for the title, based on the Japanese one and a clip of a picture I saw on Serebii.

Interesting. So when did those two episodes air, like during what seasons?
But I was expecting CN to promo the new season a little more, but it seems they been promoting Ben10 Alien Force so much that they kind of forgot about pokemon. The only mention of the new season had been the Dynamite Action Squad promo, where they only mention the new season for a moment.

Actually, the same guy who was in charge of the script adaptations for the 4Kids dub (James Carter Cathcart, but really Jimmy Zoppi) is also credited in the PUSA dub.
"Tears for Fears" isn't that bad of an episode title, I must admit. It's still a pop culture reference, but it does stay somewhat close to the JP title.

We've also had similar titles such as "A Scare in the Air" and then "A Scare to remember" in Orange and Hoenn respectively.
Not to mention "The Joy of Pokemon" which was that Orange episode with the tanned Nurse Joy, and then "The Joy of Water Pokemon" which was a terrible Johto episode with a Nurse Joy scared of water Pokemon.

Although that's just the logo, they'll probably still announce it as the longer version

Yes, shortening "Diamond and Pearl" to DP does make a big difference. But they probably will say "Diamond and Pearl" when they announce it. But that doesn't really make a difference to say it, only the spell it.

I think it's way worse than Brandon's. But Ash is headed towards Villestone City next, so hopefully we wont have to wait too long.
This was also a rumor I heard:
Villestone city is where Team Galactic's HQ is located. Perhaps that's why Paul is so cold towards everyone.

Since this series seems to be taken itself after the games very much it really isn't that much of a spoiler that TG is in Veilstone city. Though my theory is that
Cyrus is somehow related to Paul. Since Cyrus was a loner I don't think he had anyone he conceived a child let alone 2.

If Paul is related to Galactic, it would be just like what they were trying do do with Ash and Giovonni, but ever since they had that Silver guy (who never really made an apperence on the series), they had to drop that plot.

That logo does look kind of cool. Shorten Diamond and Pearl to DP does make it look a bit weird too. They probably didn't want to go and put in those extra words in the title, but that's just my guess.
So we have three new episode titles. Awesome. Hopefully those episodes will be interesting.
I also hope that we get some kind of look into Paul's past this season. Any kind of insight into his development into a jerk would be wonderful. I'm sure that we'll get something since Ash and his friends are heading for Villestone City now so that would be the perfect time to give us some kind of hint about Paul's past.

They most likely added Battle Dimensions in order to make it look more like a new season, instead of just keeping Diamond and Pearl. Besides, they've changed the title for every season ever since Johto started. Only the first two seasons kept the same title.

Actually the second season is recognized as Poke'Mon Orange Island Adventures on the DVD's, though they don't show the Orange Island Adventures on the opening, so no seasons have had the same name.
