Synopsis: Jimmy is jealous when Robin has a date, so he makes a cartoon princess come to life as his own date. Sonny, meanwhile, decides to fill the princess' spot and learns what animated life is really like.

The second season of OOJM continues tonight with this episode. Looks like animation will be used a lot in this episode, so its a plus. Also, Jimmy's mom is in this episode, so Blackstar and Silverstar will be pleased.;)

I may have to record this one tonight, as it's looking like I won't be home this evening, but I'm not going to miss it. As always, no colorful commentary from me until after I've seen it.

Hahahaha.....Yancy got referenced to Shrek.
Knew that the connection would come.

But I gotta admit, CN should use this animation more. The movie in this episode is just a sign that Out of Jimmy's Head is going for the gold tonight.

But Robin is still the big-eyed animated tart? Think that she should had been re-animated to a new design herself.

"Princess" was not an outstandingly great episode, IMHO, but it was a nice change from the normal goings on. A story that deals mainly with the cartoons that was better than their previous attempt "Cartoons Drive".

Seeing the entire main cast (minus Jimmy, who's been 'tooned' in earlier episodes) as cartoon characters was fun, even if most of them didn't do much in animated form.

But hey, this may be the 1st OOJH episode ever where we don't see the school at all, and of course, the lovely Mrs. Roberts is around for the entire episode, another pleasant change from the norm. Her 2nd appearance in only 3 episodes. Nice. Here's hoping that it won't be another 5 or 6 shows before she appears on screen again.

It's good to see the writers trying some different things with this show. Season 2 is shaping up to an improvement over season 1.

My rating: 3 out of 5.

According to zap2it.com, the next episode, "Movie", centers on Yancy, and it actually deals with her being an alien! So far, this is shaping up to be a pretty good season (by OOJH's standards, anyway). If we see some alien powers in this one, and we get another Mrs. Roberts appearance, I'll be ready to vote "Movie" the best episode ever.
