Anyone have any funny job interview stories?

Well, you know how they tell you not to be late for an interview, well, for my first job interview ever, the person interviewing me was 35min late. :sweat:

It's not too funny....but I called McDonald's to query about an application I'd sent 2 months prior. It had gotten lost, and they asked me to come in and fill one in.

I did.

Five minutes later, I got the job.

And I went into the womens' bathroom to check my pants sizes (I usually don't pay attention to that crap, whatever fits fits, heh.) and I started doing the cabbage patch in the bathroom. This customer came in and I ducked into the stall and said a very quick "Sorry".

Employer: "So...why do you want to work here...?"

Inner thought processes: *Don't say 'because you need a job.' Don't say it. Give him something to go on...*

[Mind goes blank]

Me: "Because I need a job..."

Employer: ....

[Dead silence for about 10 seconds]

The conversation did move on, thankfully.
