Today is the celebration that will forever change humanity. That despite evil having temporary beaten good, it shown that Good would forever triumph, Life over forever death. It is the ultimate Love shown by a ultimate Father to all, so that we may have hope.
HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE! :D

Well, I'm sorry to say that I'm not celebrating Easter today. Because I'm Greek Orthodox, I won't be celebrating Easter until April 27th (yeah, that's 5 weeks away).
But I still will wish a Happy Easter to everyone else out there.

Happy Easter! I've been spending my Easter quietly at home this year for a change.

The day has gone pretty well for me. I still can't wait to see what I'll be having for dinner tonight at my stepdad's friend's home.:)
I'll never forget my late mom used to make roast duck every year for dinner. I'll always have the memories.:)
Happy Easter, everybody!!!:) :anime: :D

I've never understood... Jesus was a Jew, yet people are all ham-obsessed on Easter. Wouldn't Jesus be kind of pissed at you guys for being all "PRAISE JESUS, HALLELUJAH!" one minute, then the next minute eating some non-kosher food?

Wouldn't Jesus be kind of pissed at you guys for being all "PRAISE JESUS, HALLELUJAH!" one minute, then the next minute eating some non-kosher food?Easter is an entirely Christian holiday and has nothing to do with the Jewish culture and traditions. From the Catholic Church's point of view, there's nothing wrong with eating pork on Easter, so I'll doubt Jesus would be mad at anyone for doing so.
It's a Catholic tradition, however, that you don't eat any form of meat on Holy Friday (although fish is allowed) as a form of sacrifice. This is where the "Catholics don't eat meat on Fridays" myth originates from.

Happy Easter!
I started out my day at a sunrise service at church, followed by a regular-time service. Then I went to BK and walked my neighbors dog since our family has to wait a week for our dinner because my dad had to work today.:p
I still got CANDY!
