I'm attempting to use Netflix's Instant Viewing. It's been working fine before, but now t claims that "The Netflix Movie Player requires Javascript and ActiveX. Please enable those features in your browser settings and try again." You'd think that this would be self-explanatory (and it probably would be if I would stop and think for a few minutes), but how do I do so? I just wanna watch a movie, it shouldn't be this complicated ;)!

And that is unlikely since you don't know how. lol Do you have Norton installed? or other antivirus/firewall software? Norton is notorious for disabling Active X plug-ins necessary for viewing Java and Flash 7 based content. Try disabling your Norton for a while.

It could also be that the security settings in Internet Explorer are set too high, preventing Java/Script and/or ActiveX controls from running.
Try resetting the Internet zone to Meduim.
Or you can try adding the Netflix Instant Viewing site to the Trusted Sites zone.
