I had a wreck earlier this week that I was lucky enough to walk away from. The short version is; I ran off the road and hit a tree with the trunk of my car doing 70. If you can imagine how I did that you're smarter than I am, as I have no idea how it happened. What happened was, I ran off the road, over-corrected, went into the left lane, pulled back right, went back off the road, and from the tire marks, I did a 180 before hitting a tree with my trunk and bouncing off of it.

That you're still alive is quite frankly a miracle. Thank goodness you're OK!

I had a wreck myself back in October, though of a different nature. I was making a left turn, and an oncoming car hit, or "T-boned", the passenger side. Thankfully, I was alone at the time, and nobody else was hurt, but I ended up having to get a new car since the damages were more than the insurance company wanted to pay.
*looks at photos* Dang, that looks nasty. I'm amazed that you weren't injured, to be honest. I wish you happy hunting for a new car, since it certainly looks like you'll need one.

As glad as I am to hear you're alright, this seems more suited for a blog and that's not what the Cafe is for.
