It's that time of the year already? Yep, everyone seems to be starting their spring break this month or next month. Either you and your family go away on vacation somewhere, or you just relax at home. Well, this year, my spring break is weird. You can say I kinda have 2 of them this year, a 5 day weekend starting tomorrow and ending Monday night, and a week off like the 3rd week of April. I don't know what we're really doing, but I'll probably just visit relatives for Easter and that's it mainly. So, when do you start your spring break and do you have any current plans for it?

My Spring Break was two weeks ago... and I spent it playing softball. My parents also came down to visit but I had to stay on campus because of practice and games. So it wasn't much of a break.

I think that we are going to my grandpa's house. Yeah for doing his yardwork and sharing an air mattress with my brother:shrug:

My spring break has started all ready, but I'm not going anywhere. I usually go to Florida or California when I do go away for spring break but not this year. No I'm just eating and sleeping. Spring break started on March 13,2008 and will end on March 25,2008. Either way it's great to not be in school and not be under so much pressure.
Yay for relaxing at home all week!
...I don't lead a very exciting life.

I'm getting my wisdom teeth pulled. I purposely delay it to when I get time off from both work and school, and that way I can recover in peace, and not worry about missing homework assignments or skipping valuable class time.

Hmm Spring Break. I think it's the second or third week of April too.
I have no idea what I'll be doing. Probably hang out with some friends, so a ton of home work I've already gotten, etc.etc.

My spring break is this week!
We aren't really planning on going anywhere this break. My father has been having health problems these last few months, and he's just too weak right now for us to travel out of town as usual.
The good news is that I got my hair done! And we're planning to go see Tyler Perry's "Meet the Browns" this weekend; that should be funny! :)

My break is right now, and it's awesome. My two roommates are away for the week so I've got ten days all to myself. I'm spending them the only way I know how: drawing, video games, movies, tv, and chatting on the internet.
Life is good.

My Spring break starts tomorrow and ends March 30th. I’m not going any for break, but I will be going to Florida from March 29th to April 5th for the YMCA Swimming Nationals. Yep, I get to go the week after Spring break. So I’m missing a week of school.
But please don’t call me lucky, I’m kinda doing bad this semester and missing 5 days of school won’t help.

My Spring Break started last Thursday. I head back up to Ohio State on Sunday and I can't wait for this break to end. I just feel like a lame duck. I tried to get a friend and drive up to Canada with me seeing the sights of Windsor and Toronto, but its not going to happen. Maybe next year I'll go out of the country, take the train to New York, or head to Phoenix for spring training for break.

I worked my entire break. I'm THAT desperate for extra cash.

When you work a professional full-time job, "Spring Break" is meaningless.
Enjoy it while it lasts, kiddies.

Enjoy it while it lasts, kiddies. Ditto, though if you have enough spare vacation days and wanted to take a bunch off in a row, you could sort of recreate the experience. ;)

You know, someone always says that on every thread like this, whether it’s Spring break, Christmas break, or Summer vacation. So, I will enjoy it while it lasts.

When you work a professional full-time job, "Spring Break" is meaningless.
Enjoy it while it lasts, kiddies. The first thing my professor said on the last day of class last week, to all the students graduating, was "Do yourself a favor and take two weeks. You will thank yourself later. When I started working, it was immediately after graduation and I didn't get a single day off for two years."

That's why I want to be a teacher;)

That's why I want to be a teacher;)A lot of teachers work summer jobs too, considering the pay they make during the school year. Too bad ;)
On a related topic, I have tomorrow off since it's Good Friday. I don't celebrate Easter, but I'm not complaining about having a day off two weeks after Spring Break especially since the next day off comes when Summer Break starts... six weeks.

Spring Break for me started at 10:40 today. It didn't last long since I had to go straight to work and help with the long lines that were forming already. I have two days off next week. Monday will be spent fixing my car, the other will be sleeping. Then back to work. My summer will be like this too, luckily I have planned a week and a half in July in Baltimore with my Dad. So yay for that.

Meh, my Spring break has been kind of lame, plus, it doesn't even feel like Spring. We just got 12 inches of snow the other day.
but at least I got to hang out with one of my friends yesterday. We went bowling and I got a 174 game. I bet my friend by 2 pins, and he's really good. I'm suprised I won.

Spring break started uh...I think last Thursday. But anyway, I've been having loads of fun doing stuff like Brawl, hanging out, drawing and writing etc.
...Pretty much everything but homework. XP

Spring break doesn't end after college. It simply transforms into the name "happy hour!" So I have spring break 2-3 times weekly after work. Sometimes at work!

Didn't really do much for the break week, but I had fun the last weekend. I went shopping for new clothes, saw Meet the Browns (GO SEE IT! It's HILARIOUS!!!), and then a funny thing happened on Easter Sunday...
My uncle picked me up in his van to take me to church. We were in the church parking lot, and someone noticed that one of the front tires was flat. So I went inside while my uncle drove somewhere to pump air in the tire.
Cut to: when church was over. We were more than halfway home, and as we were going down the ramp to the main freeway, something (possibly the rims) broke off the tire. My guess was that it either fell flat again or got semi-damaged. So we had to pull over in a safe zone (where no one could run over us), and my uncle had to call AAA to replace the flat and damaged tire. (I chatted with my cousin for most of the 30 mins-1 hr we had to wait.)
Finally, the people came. My uncle got out, while I was still in the van. One of the men used the jack to tip the van a little. Well, since the broken tire was on MY side, the tipped the van from MY side! So I'm holding on like hell to my seat, afraid that me and the whole van was going to ROLL over together! I'm thinking, "WAAAA! I've never done this before! This is rare; I'm scared!" and so on.
But we made it home safe and sound...and had yummy Easter dinner!!! :p

Spring break for me is the third week of April. I will mainly be haniging out with my friends during the daytime. Then we're going to have a ton of makeup games due to all of the snow still on the baseball fields.... So I guess by day I will be with friends and by night I will be playing baseball.:p Then of course... any homework that my teachers give, will never be done on my watch.;)
