John K and 2 Stupid Dogs?

(I posted this on the general animation boards john k thread but got no response, and lets hope this thread doesnt devolve into constant pro/anti john debate either). What exactly was John Kricfalusi's involvement with 2 stupid dogs? He was credited in 3 eps (the "red" eps) with "tidbits of bad taste" but thats all the info i can find about the involvement. Does anyone have anymore details, and know why he only did those 3 episodes?

According to imdb, he was a consultant on three episodes: "Red", "Red Strikes Back", and "Return of Red". I don't know why he was only involved in those three episodes, though.

Having watched it, I can say that it feels like something John K. would make. Even though he was just a consultant and I don't know involved he was in the process, it definitely feels like something you'd see on Ren & Stimpy.
