I don't think it's ever been on Boomerang before and I don't when it was on tv last, I watched years later online.

I think its rights holding it up as Hasbro bought Kenner in the early 90s. If they wanted to air it theyd have to go through Hasbro since they own the rights to the name and the copyright.

The last time GoBots aired was on the USA Cartoon Express in the late 80's. I don't know the exact year, but I know it was around that period.
GoBots suck. Gimme the transformers anytime, and they had a film, to boot!!

The Gobots had a movie, too. "Battle of the Rock Lords". Granted, it was just an extended episode of the t.v. show put into theaters with horrible voice acting, but still...

The first time I saw or even heard of Gobots was when it aired in the late nineties by a channel I got while in South Africa.
I think it was Cartoon Network UK.

I have to ask this. What was Crasher? A dude? A girl? And what was his/her deal?
I'm still a bit freaked out with Machine Robo, and having Cy-Kill as a good guy, while Turbo and Scooter are bad guys. It's Bizzaro World for Gobots!
Didn't see Crasher in MR though. Too bad, that would answer it, but it seemed for the most part the Gobots were all guys while the females were humanoid.

I'm pretty sure Crasher was female, even might have even been referred to as such in a few episodes (I'll have to watch my old VHS tapes to see). Smallfoot was definately female, though.

One of my main problems with the show is that for the most part, the only featured characters were leader-1, scooter, turbo, cy-kill, crasher, and cop-tur. While there were eps that had other characters, they were more or less treated like cameo appearances or guest stars.

I'm pretty sure with Transformers Animated gaining popularity on Cartoon Network, maybe the folks at Hasbro and CN Studios can work in an episode where the Autobots and Decepticons discover a smaller-sized planet inhabited by smaller Transformers called GoBots and MiniCons. That would put to rest the GoBot question while bringing back the MiniCons as well
But I really would like to have seen COTG on DVD someday.
