R.I.P Steve Gerber. Thundarr is the best retro toon I never saw as a kid and loved as an adult.

Well this was a show I enjoyed as a kid and still like to see every now and then as an adult. In fact, it's currently on Boomerang's late night schedule. It's at 1AM Eastern Time.

RIP.
Thundarr was slightly ahead of its time compared to other toons of the era. It was slightly more edgy with a few deaths of villains (alleged deaths of a few wizards, it was sorta left to the imagination) which was rare for the time period (for a Sat. morning toon).
Its one of my favorites.

Let's not forget that Gerber also created Howard the Duck and other characters for Marvel, and Destroyer Duck for Eclipse.
