I've put up pictures of Swaroop and Yu-Gi-Oh at the Animation Archives:

Yu-Gi-Oh seems to be typical looking anime (but I'm not on to talk, I can't tell Dragon Ball Z from Gundam Wing), and Swaroop is kinda like Rugrats meets Detention meets Generation O. Take a look!
Here's a pic of Yugie:

Dragon Ball Z and Gundam Wing have pretty different art styles, honest to Gawd. I have a tougher time distinguishing between Zeta from X-Men and Static Shock, to tell the truth.
Seriously, what's the big interest on Yugi-Oh? It seems there are so many threads on it here, yet there are better shows out there that are coming up soon. Everyone thinks it'll be the next Pokemon or something. It doesn't even beat Pokemon in the ratings in Japan (last I checked, anyway).

...that's a "Yu-Gi-Oh"? Some guy with a name that sounds like a mediocre Eastern European automobile who looks like a reject from some punk rock group?
Re: being excited over this show: as shown by the above line, I wasn't excited from the first time I'd heard of it...and thus can give it the same respect I grant to the Cat and Bunny Wally Faust-y Judge Doom's Dip-y Big Favorite Villains of Robert Show ;-)

Who wonders if Batman will get along well with the Martian Manhunter in the new JLA cartoon, seeing as how MM got his start in "Detective Comics" back in the 50's (and both lost their families to some cause they couldn't prevent)...

Nope. The feeling I'm getting is fear. People are afraid that Yugi-Oh will be the next Pokemon. I assure you it won't.

Is it my imagination or does this kid look like Goku after some crazy hairstylist went schizo with the highlight gel? http://www.duhspot.com/users/smiley/s/otn/laughing/icon_smile_lachuh.gif Something tells me I'm going to have a new whipping boy come reviewin' time...move over, Max Steel....

It might be interesting to see some friction at first...but their animosity cools after they see how much in common they have regarding their pasts...and M.M. could easily get in the Dark Knight's good graces by helping him mop up Joker or de-claw Catwoman or some such thing. Batman doesn't make friends easily, but when he does they're with him for life. Like Superman said of him, "Our styles are different...but deep down inside Bruce is a good man."

With that hairstyle, he must need to be careful about bumping his points whenever he goes through a doorway.

I'm more concerned about the clothes. He dresses like a bondage freak.
Bad show, btw. 4 episodes on video and the commercials were the only consistently interesting part.
