First-time readers may be confused. If this is the case, go here (http://www.forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?t=190878). Then here (http://www.forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?t=196005). Also here (http://www.forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?t=194747). And for no reason whatsoever, I'll send you here (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/HomePage).
No, this doesn't have to do with Star Wars. And also, there will be a while where Teen Titans and Avatar will be parallel universes, but only to establish my original Avatar characters. Now, on with the show!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
T. It is the most common consonant in the English language. But it is also the shape of a giant building situated on an island, home to a group of superheroes. These heroes are the Teen Titans. Right now, the giant T, referred to as Titans Tower, is home to seven heroes. Anyone reading this story with a brain ought to realize that five of them were Robin, Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy, and Cyborg. The sixth was Terra, whose backstory is way too complicated to explain right now. And the seventh was called Espionage. He could predict the future, he was telekinetic, he had a laser pistol that had several various functions, and he had lightning powers. But you probably knew that.
Anyway, the Titans had just finished beating back their own villains, who were just betrayed by the evil Empire. Espionage had just finished with a crowd of fans that he distracted from the Tower. In order to prevent you from falling asleep or leaving to read some other story, I'll skip to where Espionage had gotten back to the Tower and was about to start work on his new universe-merging/separating gun, which had been broken by the Empire's top general, General Gryphus.
Espionage went up to his room, got out his tools and the parts of his gun, then started working. About three seconds in, the alarm rang. "Crap," Espionage sighed, tossing his blowtorch aside and heading downstairs.
"Let me hope for a couple seconds," Espionage said when he reached the lobby. "There's some threat like Dr. Light that doesn't even need my help to solve, so I could possibly get to work on my weapon."
"Uh... not really, no," Robin said, shrugging. "But it is a challenge. The entire Empire is headed for downtown."
"Damn Empress," Espionage cursed. "Eh, let's go pick off a few tanks."
A:TLAA:TLAA:TLAA:TLAA:TLAA:TLA
In the world of Avatar, the second season had just ended. Azula had shot down Aang with lightning, and it seemed that all was lost. Obviously, I'm not going to bother with an introduction with this universe, even though you're less likely to be familiar with it.
Zuko barged into Azula's chamber late at night. "You told Father that I destroyed the Avatar," he stated. "Why?"
"Well, you needed an edge to restore your honor," Azula explained. "It's too bad that it could all turn to shame if you somehow didn't... or if the Avatar was somehow alive. I think that you lied to me when you said there was no way he could have survived. I think the Avatar actually is alive."
Zuko cracked, and the universe changed. "It's true," he said. "The Avatar survived. His Waterbending friend told me she had magical healing water from the North Pole."
"Well, then, there's still no need to tell dear old Father."
"Why not? You'd normally do anything to usurp me."
"Yes, but now I believe that the Fire Nation needs all the motivation they can get. However, I think we should hire assassins. At least have some people looking for him."
"Agreed."
The siblings bowed to each other, and Zuko left the room.
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
A battalion of tanks was headed towards the center of the city. General Gryphus' head poked out of the top of one. The Empress, Vice Empress, Kim, and Paranoid Guy popped out of a few others. Then the Titans showed up. "Don't you ever take a break?" Gryphus inquired.
"Not when the city is in danger," Robin replied.
Kiryu, the Empire's deadly mech, surged forward, his newly attached plasma sword arm glowing. He was followed by Phil, the enormous dragon whose voracious appetite was topped only by his neutron blast breath. "Titans, go!" Robin announced. Espionage grappled with Kiryu, parrying the plasma sword with arcs of energy shields from his gun. Robin shot a grappling hook around Phil's neck, and pulled himself up. The cord tightened, but Phil simply flexed his neck muscles and snapped the puny rope. Robin was caught in midair by Starfire, who shot a starbolt from her eyes at Phil in passing.
Beast Boy transformed into a T-Rex and headbutted some tanks, crumpling them. Terra soared into the sky with a boulder and tossed some improvised stalagmites at some bombers. Raven was being specifically targeted by the Empress' tank. "What do you want from me?" Raven yelled at the hatch.
The Empress came out for a second to say, "Your heart, on a stick." Then she ducked back down as Raven crushed the front of the tank with another tank. The Empress crawled out of the wreckage and spewed a few grenades at Raven.
A:TLAA:TLAA:TLAA:TLAA:TLAA:TLA
Aang, meanwhile, had gone through the adventures of "The Awakening." Zuko was just hiring Combustion Man. And Azula had now called up a long line of candidates to hunt the Avatar in her name. She went down the line. Two twins stood motionless at the front. "You two, what are your names?" Azula demanded.
"Selt and Samen," they said in unison and in German accents.
Azula turned to Samen. "Salmon?"
"Nein, Samen."
"Nine salmon?"
"Nein, Azula. My name is Samen."
"Cement?"
Samen's nostrils shot fire. Azula smirked. "One mark of a truly great bounty hunter is emotional stability. Becoming infuriated when you're merely asked your name is not stability. Now, you, Salt."
"Selt."
"Silt?"
"Selt."
"Celt?"
"Selt."
"Good work, Selt," Azula commented. "Now, have you ever completed a job without your twin?"
"Never."
"Another trait of a great hunter is independence when needed. You both may leave."
The twins left in disgrace. Azula moved on. "I've heard of you. June, isn't it?"
The tracker nodded.
"Well, forget it," Azula refused. "I heard you failed against the Avatar."
June gave Azula an I'm-going-to-kill-you-slowly look and stormed off.
"And you? What do you have to offer me?" Azula asked a hunter who looked like he was really an Earthbender.
"My service, my power, and my wits," he replied.
"You look a little young for a bounty hunter." It was true; he looked about 16.
"You look a little young to be hiring a bounty hunter."
"How good of a hunter are you?"
"None of my quarries have lived to tell the tale if they weren't wanted alive... or, for that matter, if they were, in some cases."
"And how many people would that be?"
"More than anyone else has heard about."
A violent-looking Firebender burst out from a few places away. "He's not worth your time, Princess," he snorted. "He won't give you a straight answer."
"Oh? Are you worth my time?"
"I've slain forty men, brought in twenty-two alive. I am Kizade, the Raging Bonfire."
"Well, that's something. What is your name?" Azula asked the mysterious one.
"Oloshi."
"There's a straight answer," Azula mocked. Kizade exploded. "Oloshi, I challenge you to an Agni Kai!"
"Fine, I accept," Oloshi answered rather casually. Azula smirked again. "Whoever wins shall be my hired hand. The rest of you can leave, or stay to watch, if you like. The battle begins at sundown."

Yes, quite interesting. You have gotten the aspects of my/our superweapons down pretty well now, although, now I have to bug you about the tanks... but that's less important, so I'll let it go.

General Gryphus leaped out of his tank as Espionage, having escaped dueling Kiryu, blasted it with his pistol charged with lightning. Sword drawn, the general soared in the general direction of Espionage's head. He dodged the aerial attack, then flipped the pistol in his hand so that he was holding the barrel. He pressed one of the numerous side buttons, and a sword blade came out from the end.
"Got it fixed," Espionage said. He then blocked a blow from Gryphus, staggering a pace backwards. Then the Titan's sword started to glow green. "Ah yes, forgot to turn off the time delay on the energy sword," Espionage grinned. Gryphus pulled back, staring at the smoking red patch on his own blade. Then he turned and sprinted towards another part of the battle.
Kiryu came up behind Espionage and attempted to impale him, but now Espionage could fight back. Unfortunately, he had not had as much training with a sword as with a gun, so his weapon was thrown out of his hand rather quickly. Espionage fled, shooting lightning behind him. Gryphus turned when Espionage raced towards him. Calmly, he stuck out an arm and whacked his forehead, knocking Espionage out.
Raven was blocking grenades like crazy when she noticed Gryphus dragging an unconscious Espionage to his tank. "Oh no you don't," she snarled, and flew towards the tank. But then the Empress pulled off a shot to the arm with a grenade. It was far enough away to not completely destroy her arm, but did damage it pretty badly. Raven had to stop, touch down, and simultaneously heal her arm and maintain a shield around her, unable to help Espionage.
Robin was managing not to get disintegrated by Phil, something normally considered a great feat. However, Phil was winning. Starfire was assisting, distracting the dragon with starbolts, but it was pretty easy for Phil's armored hide to block most wounds. His fire was mostly concentrated on the kid currently trying to shoot pointy objects into him.
Cyborg was occupied with keeping Paranoid Guy at bay. His dozen or so tanks were firing like crazy at Cyborg, relentless as their leader. Cyborg was firing his own cannon just as crazily, charring the front of a couple tanks. Then Paranoid Guy came out of the top himself and activated his flamethrower. Cyborg, caught off guard, staggered back a couple paces.
Terra, mounted on Beast Boy in T-Rex mode, was shooting down planes while her steed crushed some tanks. Then Vice Empress and Kim came forward. Vice caught Beast Boy around the neck and got on, aiming her chainsaw at Terra. She managed to get off in time, and Beast Boy transformed into a turtle to avoid having his spine split in half. Then Kim picked him up and tossed him into the barrel of the nearest tank. Before Beast Boy could do anything else, the tank fired, sending him flying through a building.
Gryphus suddenly started retreating, Espionage in tow on his tank.
"Gryphus, I order you to stay here!" the Empress shouted.
"I already got my quarry. He's too dangerous to leave in a tank with only the grunts, and I want him captured. I'm taking him back to base."
The Empress turned back, aiming her grenade launcher back at Raven. She had finally finished getting the major wounds on her arm healed, although there were still visible signs of injury. She had gone a few feet in the air before the Empress blocked her path, shooting a volley of grenades that she barely blocked. "No!" she cried, attempting to find a way out, but the Empire's tanks had already formed a wall, with Kiryu flying towards her. Raven put up a shield just in time for Kiryu's blade arm to bounce off, ricochet some, and his sword to slam into his torso. Sparks flew as Kiryu lashed out again, the tip of his sword actually penetrating Raven's shield and forcing her to retreat.
Gryphus was long gone now. Raven flew towards Robin and the others, who had formed a knot to prevent anyone sneaking up from behind.
"Robin, they've caught Espionage," Raven said breathlessly.
"Holy crap," Robin replied. "He actually went down?"
"Yeah, I thought he was pretty much invincible," Beast Boy piped up.
"How 'bout now?" Raven snapped.
"We need to retreat now," Robin decided. "They've got too much firepower for us to be able to avoid capture. We've taken out enough tanks that the city isn't in too much danger. We need to get back to the Tower and then plan out a strategy to break Espionage out."
"If they don't kill him first," Raven muttered.
A:TLAA:TLAA:TLAA:TLAA:TLAA:TLA
Kizade and Oloshi faced off in Azula's personal arena. The other nameless bounty hunters crowded around the circle, hoping to see a good fight. Azula herself sat in a balcony, her lavish seat obviously designed by someone who wanted to make a statement about their power.
"Ready to die?" Kizade flared. Oloshi said nothing.
"Let the Agni Kai commence!" Azula crowed. Kizade lashed out immediately. Fireballs shot from his hands at amazing rates, but Oloshi dodged them all. Then he made a sweeping motion with his arm, causing an arc of flame to soar towards Kizade. Kizade jumped above it, then ducked to avoid another arc aimed in the air.
Oloshi then swept both arms across the ring twice, causing four horizontal bars to move towards the hapless Kizade. He jumped, but it wasn't enough. He yelled in pain as his legs were badly burned. When he touched down, he collapsed into a kneel, blasting the air with lightning.
Up in the balcony, Azula raised an eyebrow. Oloshi obviously had the upper hand, but Kizade could shoot lightning. She had only known her own family to do that.
Oloshi evaded the lightning, then ran up right next to Kizade and put his fist to the Raging Bonfire's temple.
"Do you surrender?" he hissed. "If you do, you will live."
"Fine," Kizade admitted, raising his hands above his head. "Oloshi, I submit to you."
"Well played, Oloshi," Azula commented. "You are my new personal bounty hunter."

Sigh... school. Here's the next chapter. I sincerely hope I don't end up offending Kiryu in any way... again.
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
"No. No. No. Stop. Stop!!"
These sounds emanated from Espionage in the Empire's headquarters. His eyes were bloodshot, his face bore a crazed expression. Then he shouted,
"Gryhpus, you can't lead with a heart unless they've been broken already!"
"But I thought I played a heart already..." the Empress said, confused.
"OK, explain to me again, why is HE here?" Vice glared. Espionage could have sworn his skin was burning.
"Because we're waiting for his parts to get here so he can build us one of those universe guns," Gryphus explained.
"And?" Empress smirked.
"...Because there was no danger in doing it because he's handcuffed, and it's good to have his mind sharp."
"And?"
Gryphus sighed. "And because we needed a sixth player to pass across."
"There you go."
Kiryu came across the doorway, carrying a leg. "Hey, where've you been?" Gryphus demanded.
"Texas," the mech replied calmly. "Look! I got a souvenir!" He held up the leg, which flopped around.
"That looks pretty real..."
"What?" Kiryu said somewhat nervously. "No, it's not real, of course not, it's... um... an umbrella stand. Do we have any formaldehyde?"
"I'd try the science labs," Espionage called. This was a mistake. Kiryu suddenly flew across the room, scattering cards, and put his plasma sword up to Espionage's throat.
"Don't move, don't speak, don't even breathe, or I'll do to you what France did to Marie Antoinette."
"Calm down," Gryphus called, trying to collect the scattered cards and put them all in Espionage's pile. "He's building one of those universe guns for us."
Kiryu reluctantly lowered his sword, very slowly. Then he recovered his composure and went back to the hall, where he turned to go to the science labs.
"Sir, there's a shipment here for you," a grunt informed them.
"Well, it looks like Espionage loses," Gryphus said, pointing out all the cards stacked by him.
"Whatever."
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Espionage walked into a science lab, where hundreds of parts to build a reality-bending gun were spread out.
"Now, I want you to bring me the universe of the Justice League," the Empress commanded from the other side of the bars. "But not just that. I want you to bring them in when the Flash was in this specific spot, inside this level 4 containment field. Ah yes, and Danny Phantom inside this one."
Espionage balked. "WHAT?! That exact spot?! At least tell me they can be in either one."
"Yeah. But do you have a problem with that?" As if following a cue, Phil dropped down and leered at the defenseless Titan.
"Uh... not if you don't mind waiting a few years."
"Get to it, then," the Empress snapped, and left with Phil. A scientist came in with a clipboard and pen.
"OK, what you need?" the scientist asked.
"A holiday in Cambodia/Where the people dress in BLACK!!" The scientist stared for a few seconds. "Sorry. Couldn't resist. I've been playing Guitar Hero too long... Anyway, I need a laptop with an Internet connection... and about 50 gallons of coffee."
A:TLAA:TLAA:TLAA:TLAA:TLAA:TLA
Aang and friends had already saved a random Fire Nation town from pollution, thereby teaching all the little kiddies the value of the environment. Unfortunately for them, their continuity would be broken.
"Are you sure this is the right town?" Ty Lee whispered to Oloshi, who was standing atop a hill. The two had been traveling together, trying to find the Avatar and his companions.
"Yes. I've tracked their locations, and their path leads to a place outside here. Of course Sokka would hear of the famous sword master somewhere. It's just a matter of time. And why were you whispering?"
Before Ty Lee could answer (of course in a whisper), Oloshi spotted something. Four people, walking in the outskirts of the town. Suddenly, a meteorite crashed into the hill nearby, blinding the hunter for a few seconds. As soon as he could see again, he set off towards the swordsman's mansion.
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Espionage's eye twitched. Again. This had been happening for about 9 hours. He had visited every Justice League/Danny Phantom forum in existence, started an account, posted desperately, looked on Wikipedia, drank another cup of coffee, twitched several times, and cried out a scream of frustration that could be heard from a universe away. It went a little something like this:
"You ****ing Flash! You piece of **** superhero! You're so ****ing pathetic that the ****ing most pathetic normal ****ing person in the ****ing world would ****ing laugh at you like you were a ****ing piece of ****!!!!"
After he had calmed down a little, he looked at the best source he'd found; TOONZONE! There, he found a new post in his thread. He clicked on it. It said, "I heard your scream of rage... unless that wasn't your scream. Anyway, I've put in the coordinates. He was there at..." After that was a series of times. Espionage downed another cup of coffee, and then prepared to belt out something like that with Danny Phantom.
Some time later...
The Empress sighed as another giant glass window shattered from Espionage's second scream. "Come on, Gryphus, let's go taunt him!" she said cheerily. Gryphus, who had been doing some target practice with Kiryu (using random grunts that were running around in terror), shot another panicking underling, then came back to go see how Espionage was doing.
Five seconds later...
"So, Espionage, how you doing?" Empress jeered as she and Gryphus came around the corner. They were followed by Vice, who was clutching her ears, Kim, who looked dazed, and Paranoid Guy, who was unconscious and being dragged by Kim.
"Great, actually," Espionage replied. Half the coffee was gone, and he was busily working with his parts. "I should be done in about half an hour."
"Darn... now I don't get to taunt you..."
Gryphus looked at the Empress weirdly. "But you were the one who wanted this in the first place, and wanted it done fast."
"Oh yeah... Blonde moment."
Kiryu came crashing into the room. He was carrying around that leg, this time stiff and hollow. He looked around, then whacked Paranoid Guy with it, somehow waking him up.
"Medium rare!" he shouted, then realized everyone was looking at him. "Um, sorry..."
Kiryu shook his head slowly, turned to face the wall, cut out a rectangular hole with his plasma swords (which were most definitely attached to his wrists and had just been lubricated before the Raven incident). He turned back to face everybody, said, "Yeah, I could have used the door," then walked into the next room, where he continued shooting random foot soldiers.
Half an hour later...
"Finished!" Espionage announced as he held up a brand-new universe gun. "The coordinates are all set in, so the Flash will end up in that field."
"But what about Danny Phantom? Didn't you get his coordinates with that second outburst?"
"Um, yes... but there is a problem. You remember that I separated the Danny Phantom universe from the Teen Titans universe? Well, I kinda need that blue canister thing, or it won't work."
"Dang... oh well. Fire it up!"
Espionage put on a pair of goggles, and pressed the button. The whole world was bathed in a purple glow. Then the Flash appeared in the containment field when he was running and knocked himself out.
"Mwahahaha!" the Empress cackled. "Who knows what will happen once I have a mind control probe on him?"
"I do," Gryphus said, "and it ain't pretty."

At the Watchtower, Batman had noticed that something was wrong. "It seems that the Flash is in trouble. He's stopped and not moved for a while now. Inside this kinda large operations base. I think we need to go rescue him."
"It shouldn't take more than me and you to stop them," Superman calculated, incorrectly. "In case it's a trap to lure us out."
"But we don't know what kind and how many people are there," Batman pointed out. "We don't even know what that purple glow was earlier. I say we all go down there and get him."
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
The Flash awoke to see that he was being held in a laser prison - a level 4 containment field. There was something on his neck, and it made him lose control of his thoughts. He kept thinking of some girl in an Egyptian dress. And he was kinda liking it. But he really ought to be thinking of escape... no, no, it was fine here. The people seemed OK, probably just put him in here in case he was hostile. He'd be friendly. That seemed like the best course; maybe even team up with them.
Meanwhile, Gryphus' eyes lit up with the prospect of battle. "Empress, we've got 6 targets coming in fast."
"Ah, the rest of the Justice League," she said contentedly. "Ready our Injustice Troops. And think up some better names."
"Yes, Empress... at least the troops part," the general replied.
Soon, soldiers with what looked like ordinary rifles were lined up at the doors. Kiryu was running his blades over each other, laughing. Phil was having his claws sharpened and licked his lips at the thought of some nice tough superhero meat.
Meanwhile, Espionage grinned to see that no one had been smart enough to lock him up in someplace other than his lab. Especially since he had ordered enough parts to build him another laser pistol, too. He picked up his tools and got to work.
Six heroic figures burst into the room. Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, the Martian Manhunter, the Green Lantern, and Hawkgirl. Instantly, all the troops opened fire, killing Hawkgirl within seconds. Batman immediately turned towards the Green Lantern, his back to the grunts.
“You couldn’t have done a thing? Not even put up a single shield? Why can’t you think? Why couldn’t you…” One of the soldiers, feeling cocky, had rolled his eyes, leveled his pistol, and shot Batman in the back. “…Have done anything then, huh?” Batman gasped as he fell to the floor, dead.
The battle really began then. The Martian Manhunter was trying to get through Paranoid Guy’s forces, who were carrying flamethrowers. The Martian was subdued, and later, chunks of suspiciously green BBQ’d meat were served to the Empress for lunch.
Wonder Woman had lassoed Phil around the neck. He was struggling, while burbling out incoherent truths. Then he realized something and just vaporized the heroine. To be fair, not all of her was destroyed. A little of her wrists was preserved in her indestructible gauntlets, which were smoking on the floor.
Superman was grappling with Kiryu, who was having uncommonly bad luck in stabbing the Kryptonian. Superman pulled back his fist and punched as hard as he could right in Kiryu’s chest. It left a relatively small dent. Kiryu shrugged it off as he crossed his swords on Superman’s neck.
“Wait! You don’t know what you’re doing,” the hero said frantically. “Can’t you see that these people are evil? Can’t you comprehend that we save lives every day? Show a little mercy.”
Kiryu cocked his head to one side, then said, “Mercy does not compute.” Superman’s disembodied head was accidentally squished by one of Vice’s tanks some time later.
The Green Lantern wasn’t faring too well. All he could do was keep up a shield to stop the bullets. Kiryu flew over, pierced the shield, cut open a hole, and chuckled as Phil fired a neutron blast into it, frying the last free member of the Justice League.
Meanwhile…
Espionage had gone a ways down the hall after blasting open his cell when he encountered a smiling scientist.
“We knew you were going to bust out. We’ve been taking bets on how long it would take you. I won, apparently. Anyway, this seems like the perfect opportunity to test out our research facility’s new lightsabers.” He pulled a silver handle from his belt, tossed it up in the air, caught it after it had flipped a few times so that it was parallel to the ground, then ignited it.
Espionage stepped over the dead researcher’s body, shaking his head. “Always label the front,” he sighed, then smashed a window. With a key he took from the scientist, Espionage got out of the rubber suit the Empress had keenly suggested, then used his lightning powers to soar towards the Tower.

Sokka strode up to Master Piando’s mansion. He knocked on the door a few times, then waited. Oloshi came up behind him, glancing upward towards the roof where Ty Lee was.
“So… you going to ask the Master to teach you too?” Sokka asked pleasantly. Oloshi hadn’t really meant to stay hidden.
“Hopefully, I’ll learn a lot from this experience,” Oloshi said, flicking his eyes up again. Ty Lee recognized the signal and leaped down, disabling Sokka instantly. Oloshi dragged him off, snickering with the sheer simplicity of it all.
A moment later, Master Piandao’s butler opened the door, looked around, shrugged, and closed it again.
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
“All right, so once we’ve offered up Cyborg as bait, he’ll blast his way out of Phil’s stomach, hopefully generating enough confusion and shock to allow us through.” Robin was explaining a plan to bust out Espionage to the rest of the Titans. Cyborg objected.
“Hold on man, I’m not sure I’ll be able to get through those scales. And what if he chews me up?”
“Guys?” Raven tried to get their attention.
“Why does it matter, you’re made of metal…”
“Guys?”
“Only half metal, he could rip right through my head…”
“Guys, he’s floating outside the window.”
Beast Boy panicked. “So he’s a… GHOST? Oh, dudes, we should have gone sooner, it’s too late.”
“Calm down, BB, I’m still solid flesh,” Espionage laughed. “I just wanted to see what your plan was before I let you know I was here. By the way, why do you have Kiryu marked on your layout by a picture of Mecha-Godzilla?”
“Ancient history,” Robin said quickly, crumpling up his plan and throwing it in the trash. “So, what’s new with the Empire?”
“Oh, not much, I’ve just been forced to help them capture the Flash, they killed Batman along with the rest of the Justice League, and they’re probably on their way here right now to steal a blue canister that would allow them to capture Danny Phantom. You know, same old, same old.”

Oh, and the reason why Kiryu is labeled as "Mechagodzilla" (not Mecha-Godzilla, Charles) is because he is misconstrued as one because the two previous Godzilla-shaped mechas had been labeled as such. People instantly assumed he was "Mechagodzilla 3", although that is an incorrect moniker.

TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
Robin suddenly rushed to the computer as the alarm sounded.
“We’ve got Slade’s minions attacking seven different targets…”
“Trap,” Espionage yawned, interrupting Robin’s debriefing.
“How do you know?”
“Well, let’s think here. Slade sends out Cinderblock, who you beat and which leads you to become Slade’s apprentice. Trap. Brother Blood keeps Cyborg at the HQ of a brainwashed Titans East and nearly won. Trap. Terra sends out Cinderblock, Plasmus, and Overload as decoys...” (Terra sank down in her seat) “…and pretty much killed all of you. Trap. Brotherhood of Evil attacks everyone simultaneously, capturing nearly everyone. Trap. The Death Star is actually operational. IT’S A TRAP!!!”
“Well, what are you suggesting we do, then?”
“Call the rest of the honorary Titans.”
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
Slade was sitting in his lair, overseeing the plan carried out with the Brain and Monsieur Mallah. They had more than enough minions to stay in their comfortable, dark, unpleasant-for-most-humans hideout.
“Have you made contact with the Empire again yet?” Slade asked the Brain.
“They have refused all attempts of ours to reform an alliance. Perhaps if we had an army of our own to offer them…”
Slade had a sudden burst of inspirational universe information he really wasn’t supposed to know. “Tell General Immortus to keep conducting this operation as he sees fit. I have an idea to help us get relations back with the Empire.”
A:TLAA:TLAA:TLAA:TLAA:TLA
Aang, Katara, and Toph weren’t especially concerned. They shouldn’t have been; Sokka was supposed to be training with Master Piandao. However, things got a bit alarming when they received a note saying that Sokka had been captured and the note’s writer had clues about where to find him.
They followed a set of arrows on papers nailed to street corners when the trio came to a three-way split in the road.
“Katara, you take the left, Toph, the right. I’ll take the middle route,” Aang decided. They all went their respective ways, and into, you guessed it, a TRAP!!!
Oloshi’s agents and Oloshi himself watched from above. Ty Lee migrated to be able to sneak attack Katara from the roof. Oloshi crawled over to be able to ambush Toph (apparently, she didn’t notice them on the roof). And Dai Li agents were ready to distract the Avatar.
They all attacked simultaneously. Ty Lee leapt down and struck Katara’s pressure points, rendering her helpless. The Dai Li went into a desperate struggle against Aang. And Oloshi jumped down and did something you probably didn’t expect if you actually cared about these parts. He encased Toph in ice. With Waterbending. He then Airbended himself and the block of ice onto the rooftops and took over for the Dai Li agents, instructing them to take the iceberg to the Fire Nation to be put into cold storage. Meanwhile, Ty Lee followed the agents with Katara in tow.

After their not-very-important battle with Slade’s minions, the Titans returned to the Tower. Espionage mumbled that he was working on a new gun that created portals into other universes instead of merging them and went off. Raven went with him to see what she could do to help. The other five Titans went off in separate directions, Robin watching the security system like a hawk.
In a few hours, Espionage and Raven had completed a portal gun. Espionage pointed it at nothing and pressed the button. Instantly, a portal appeared in front of them, leading to a grassy field. Raven gave him an inquisitive look, wondering where this could be. Espionage shrugged, and the two stepped into the portal. A flock of birds flew overhead, and a couple of butterflies were flitting about. Espionage broke out into a smile when he saw that the birds were Pidgeys and the flitting bugs were Butterfrees.
“This is the world of Pokémon!” he shouted to the heavens. Unfortunately, after a few moments of basking, the call of the Titans universe compelled them to come back. Then Slade broke in.
Using the element of surprise, he knocked out Raven with a blow to the forehead and proceeded to spar with Espionage.
“All I want is your new device and some coordinates,” Slade informed Espionage. The coordinates he knew he could get off the Internet. But the device would be harder to get. After a few traded blows, Slade managed to knock Espionage off his feet, steal the gun, and flee. Espionage just stood in stunned silence, and try saying that five times fast.
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
Slade got back to the Brotherhood's hideout and fingered the weapon absentmindedly as he Googled a certain universe. Once he somehow had it, he entered it into the gun and fired. A portal opened into a world a lot like our own, except everything was enormous and there was no sign of human life. A man in a space suit ran by, followed by a herd of brightly colored flower creatures. Slade smirked under his mask. This would be the basis for his army, the ones that would impress the Empress.

As an interim, what I had originally planned for the "Mercy does not compute" scene before that popped into my head.
Superman was grappling with Kiryu, who was having uncommonly bad luck in stabbing the Kryptonian. Superman pulled back his fist and punched as hard as he could right in Kiryu’s chest. It left a relatively small dent. Kiryu shrugged it off as he pointed his swords at Superman’s torso.
"I'd say it's about time for my Kryptonian biology class," Kiryu quipped.
"Wait!" the hero cried frantically. "You don't know what you're doing! Can't you see that this Empire is evil? That we save lives every day? Can you comprehend the value of a human life? Can't you see what is good and what is evil?"
Kiryu paused for a moment, then broke down emotionally. "Oh, you're right! Now I see the evil in these people, the good in you! I can see the good in saving lives instead of destroying them! And you know what else I can see the good in?"
Superman started to relax. "What?"
"Riddance." Kiryu slashed open Superman's stomach, then looked curiously. "So that's what's under those abs."

*pushes open a rusty door* Hello? Anyone here? I just thought I'd drop off this little thing after not doing anything on this for a couple months. It's kind of short, but I've done shorter.
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
It was a dark and stormy night. Or at least it was supposed to have been. If Slade had actually bothered to stick his masked nose outside that day, he would have seen that the weatherman was partly stupid with a 100% chance of wrong. However, he had not been outside at all. Instead, he had been working on gathering an army worthy of the Empress. And now he was finally ready.
Meanwhile, the Empress was sitting on her throne, bored. 23 of her scientists had been working to keep their technology as advanced as Espionage’s, but universe travel simply escaped them. As she contemplated this, a messenger ran puffing towards her.
“Slade would like to see you, your Highness.”
“Well, I’ve nothing better to do…. Oh, what the heck. Let’s see what he’s got.”
Slade entered the throne room, smug but apparently empty-handed. The Empress raised an eyebrow. “So, what do you have for me?”
“I think you’ll beg to have me back once you see what I have.”
“Let me guess. You have supposedly increased all the villains’ power tenfold, and will show me if I come back to your base. Only you won’t have done anything, but want to ambush me. So, once I come alone, you’ll have someone attack me, then hold me hostage until you get what you want.”
Slade looked astounded. “No, but I’ll make a note of that plan. I brought my new army here, but for dramatic effect, their leader’s waiting outside with the rest.”
“Send them in, then. You’ve built up enough suspense, I think.”
“Olimar! Get in here!”
The Empress leaned forward in her throne. She had heard that name somewhere…. A man in a spacesuit walked in. He was about four feet tall. He also looked mind-controlled.
“This little guy has an entire army at his disposal. They may be short, but, as a swarm, they can take down any opponent. Call in the Pikmin!”
The man in the spacesuit blew a whistle, and suddenly the throne room began rumbling. Then, hundreds of three-foot creatures ran in. They were part-plant, part-animal, with a somewhat humanoid appearance and a stem and leaf (or bud, or flower) coming out of their heads. The creatures came in five colors: red, yellow, blue, purple, and white. The Pikmin all stood ready to serve Olimar. Slade smirked, but it was hard to see under the mask.
“An army proves nothing. Do you think that the Teen Titans would still be alive if our forces were more capable?”
“I had hoped you would say that. Olimar, command the Pikmin to tear down that wall.” Slade pointed at the wall to the Empress’ right. Olimar’s eye twitched, but he gave the order. In moments, the wall had been reduced to rubble. Slade stared coolly at the Empress, and was surprised to see her frown.
“I’ll have to get someone to fix that wall. Nevertheless, you have passed my tests. You, Olimar, and all your other henchmen are back in. By the way, what do we have to do to feed these Pikmin?”
“They mostly eat nectar, but I would be willing to bet that honey would be a passable substitute.”
“Hmm… Kip, the God of Waffles, should have some. Set up lodging immediately. We attack at dawn. …On second thought, make that ten. Dawn is so clichéd, and most of our henchmen need their sleep.”
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
Espionage opened his eyes. He had been looking into the future for the first time in months. Good thing, too. Now they would be prepared for tomorrow’s battle. He opened a desk drawer, took out a Post-it note, and scribbled out a quick message. Then he strode downstairs and stuck it on the computer keyboard. He checked his watch. It was 11:00 P.M. He went back upstairs, into his room, set his alarm clock half an hour earlier, laid out all his varied weapons/travel devices next to it on a row, and collapsed into bed. Before he fell asleep, though, he pulled out a gold, glowing cube from under his bed and thought for a while.
“Dang it,” he told himself, “you can’t hold on to this forever.”
On that cryptic note, he put it back for the night and drifted off into sleep.

All right, I am back in business, with another installment already!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
Espionage awoke to a ringing alarm clock. He instinctively grabbed his laser gun from the desk and shot the clock. Then he figured out what it was. Sheepishly, he swept the smoking remains of the defenseless wake-up call under the bed, where it joined at least five others, along with the mysterious gold cube.
“I lose more clocks that way,” he sighed, then whipped on his trenchcoat. He slipped his gun into its holster, locked his universe cannon and blue canister in a large box, swallowed the key, and checked to see what time it was. He stared at the bare desk, slapped his forehead, then looked at his watch. It was 5:30. Plenty of time to prepare. He opened the door to go downstairs and practice.
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Gryphus had had a similar morning. He had woken up to ringing alarms, but in his head.
Something was not right with his world. He grumbled incoherently, pulling on some clothes, and peered outside. His jaw dropped as Olimar and the Pikmin marched through the hallway. Then, the General’s mouth resumed its normal position, and then curled into a sneer. Someone was going to pay for this.
“What do you mean, no one’s going to pay for this?!” Gryphus shouted at the Empress.
“Well, I assumed you meant you wanted to shoot ‘every last one of those little buggers,’ and I won’t let you do that. If you meant the wall…” she indicated the mound of rubble, “then our funds should be sufficient to afford repairs. Any questions?”
“Yes,” Gryphus replied through clenched teeth. “Why the HELL did you hire these useless things?!”
“Aw, come on, they’re cute little plant… animal… things. Plus, Slade brought them in, and he already has his own army.”
“Don’t you think there’s a reason I decided to attack them?”
“Maybe….”
“Never mind. Just tell me when I can use their little heads for target practice.”
“If you must, you may do that once the Titans are dead, and when I’m not around. Get someone to clean it up before I get there, too.”
Meanwhile, Kiryu automatically turned on. He strode past the hollowed-out leg that had an umbrella in it, and opened the door. Gryphus was storming past in a terrible mood. Kiryu decided to follow him. He had a feeling he was going to be needed to drag off someone’s body soon.
A:TLAA:TLAA:TLAA:TLAA:TLA
Oloshi stared down Aang, who stood somewhat in shock.
“Hello, Avatar. I am your worst nightmare.”
Before either of them could make a move, though, a clanking noise came to Oloshi’s attention. He turned to see Combustion Man clomping his way towards them.
“This isn’t your fight,” Oloshi said loudly. “This is between me and the Avatar. I don’t want to have to ruin such worthy competition before the opportune moment.”
Combustion Man showed no sign of backing off. Oloshi’s eyes narrowed.
“Very well. If it’s a fight you want, it’s a fight you’ll get.” He sent a wave of fire out towards Combustion Man, who countered it with an explosion. Oloshi caused a small earthquake under the metal man’s feet, but instead of getting launched into the air, he only tripped. A sheet of ice was equally ineffective, as was a blast of air. Oloshi scowled, then tried all four at once. Combustion Man tried to stop it with an explosion, and actually got most of it, but the force that was left blew him back a few feet. Oloshi then leapt into the air and delivered a flying kick to the assassin’s tattoo. Combustion Man staggered, then fell as Oloshi punched him in the stomach.
Then, he looked back in the alleyway. As he had suspected, Aang was a speck in the distance, flying away on his glider. Oloshi sighed, jumped onto a rooftop, and sent a fireball screaming towards the Avatar. His glider was hit, and he fell. Oloshi smiled a wicked grin and sped off towards the spot. His mission was accomplished.
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
Espionage found Robin already downstairs, reading the Post-It note. He put the note back, then turned and saw Espionage.
“So, they attack at ten?”
“Apparently. By the way, I have something to show you… I’ll be right back.”
He sped back to his room, thrust his arm under the bed, pulled out the gold cube, and raced back downstairs. Robin stared at the thing curiously. Espionage was already looking at it somewhat greedily.
“I discovered this hidden in my room somewhat recently. I don’t know who put it there, or why. All I have figured out is what it is. I seem to have hogged it, perhaps even commanded it.”
“So… what is it?”
“Oh, yeah, you don’t get the pun yet. Well, this cube right here is a block of pure, undivided attention!”
“Undivided…”
“Attention, yes. Anyway, I’ve been thinking that I’d like to go on a tour of some of my favorite video game or movie universes soon, maybe as soon as I get my tool back from Slade. So, I’m turning it over to you.”
Robin took the cube, and thought for a moment. He then realized that the narration was referring to his thoughts. He gave the attention back to Espionage. Espionage wondered why Robin had just handed it back to him, and passed it back. Robin then realized the true power of this block. It controlled the narration, and could make someone famous. It could turn a hobo into a superstar if he was holding it, because everyone would pay attention to him.
“I can’t take this myself,” Robin said. “We should put it somewhere in the tower where it reaches everybody.”
“Exactly what I was thinking,” Espionage agreed. “Let’s put it somewhere here.”
Robin walked over to the couch, and stuck the attention firmly under it. It would never be found by chance until someone lost the remote. It should only take a few weeks for Beast Boy to come across it, Robin thought cynically. Then an alert came from the monitor.
“They’re early,” Espionage snarled. “I hate it when people don’t keep to the schedule.”
Far away, on a planet called the Discworld, in an entirely different universe, the anthropomorphic personification of Death paused a moment and registered that somewhere, someone had inadvertently sympathized with him.

TTETTETTETTETTETTETTE
General Gryphus chuckled as he set his machine gun down inside his tank, right next to the clips numerous enough to take out every single one of those Pikmin. Olimar was marching them among the Empire’s forces and the Titans villains, his mind trying to escape the hold Slade had on it. Vice was carrying her chainsaw over her shoulder, Paranoid Guy had a flamethrower out and a rocket launcher being carried behind him by another lackey, and Kim was wielding multiple weapons from Code Lyoko that almost no one recognized. The Empress had her trusty grenade launcher at her side, although she wouldn’t need it unless the Titans got past the Pikmin, the assorted military vehicles, their own villains, the Empire’s other leaders, Slade, and a mobile waffle kitchen.
Meanwhile, the Titans were preparing as well. All of them had readied their various weapons and skills to fight to the death, but Espionage was probably the most prepared. His eyes blazed with fury. He wanted that weapon back. The rest just wanted to beat back the enemies from their tower. Espionage had been thinking of ways to beat the Pikmin, and he had decided on the most effective strategy.
As soon as they got within range, the Empress gave the order to fire, but the shots were stopped by Espionage’s laser shield. Then, the seventh Titan flew into the air with his lightning boost, keeping a shield around him, and landed next to Olimar. Before anything else happened, he knocked out the Hocotate native, hoisted him over his shoulder, and tried to get to Slade. But then, Kiryu came out of nowhere and shattered the green shield, ready to deliver a final blow.
In the split second before Kiryu could strike, however, Espionage somehow managed to grab Olimar’s whistle and command the Pikmin to attack Kiryu. The robot was engulfed by waves of multicolored creatures, which he proceeded to attack, killing several with each blow. Espionage then took a shot at Kiryu which miraculously hit a major area of circuitry a purple Pikmin had exposed by landing on him. Kiryu screamed in frustration and toppled, and Espionage set up another shield so he could commence another phase of his plan.
Robin grappled with Kim, his weapons clashing with hers. Kim struck with claw gloves, but Robin blunted them with one of his endless staffs. When she pulled out an arrow shooter, Robin hurled a smoke bomb, obscuring everything of their battle.
Meanwhile, Cyborg and Starfire were attacking Paranoid Guy, who was throwing flames in their general direction and ordering his tanks to fire. Vice came out of nowhere, kicking away Terra, and sliced Cyborg’s cannon arm off with her chainsaw. Vice’s eyes danced with fire, looking positively demonic. She then raised her chainsaw again for another blow.
Beast Boy and Raven were trying to hold back the tide of their own villains, and losing badly. Raven touched back down to the ground, clutching her side with one hand and trying to muster enough strength to attack with the other. Beast Boy was furiously taking swings at anyone who tried to get on, but only hit a couple of the dozens that leapt on his back and tackled his sides. Finally, Beast Boy tumbled, had to change back, and was pummeled by the battle-crazed villains.
Espionage finally managed to get the mind-control device out of Olimar, extracting the repulsive device from the space traveler’s arm. He patched the hole in Olimar’s suit, then straightened up. Scanning the area, his eyes homed in on Beast Boy and Raven, and then narrowed to see Slade at the back of the villains. With a roar, the new Titan soared into the air between the Empire’s tanks and fighters, and landed directly on top of the mysterious villain. Slade threw his hands in front of his face, not trying to fight. Espionage simply ripped his captured portal gun from Slade’s belt and holstered it. Then he decided to knock out Slade with a blow to the forehead.
Raven desperately tried to force some of the villains off of Beast Boy, but it was to no avail; the attacks either had no effect or were so weak they could be ignored. Then, Plasmus, Cinderblock, and Overload turned around and headed towards the expended sorceress. Espionage saw this, and charged towards the trio of minions, but was tackled by Atlas and Adonis. He blasted the pair of them with his pistol, then took out Plasmus with a lightning shot that rendered him unconscious, and therefore, human. Cinderblock snarled and sprinted for Espionage, who fired a laser burst. It surprisingly bounced off Cinderblock’s buffed cranium and hit Espionage in the stomach. He was stunned just long enough for Cinderblock to run over him, knocking him out.
General Gryphus popped out of his tank to see that the Empire was winning. Raven was being taken down by Overload, Espionage was pleasantly out, and Beast Boy was done for. He shifted his gaze for another surprise; Vice had cut off all of Cyborg’s limbs and was throwing his protesting torso into her tank. Paranoid Guy had Starfire and Terra busy, and Kim was distracting Robin.
“Excellent,” he mumbled to himself. “Now, I think I should be free to help out one of my – HOLY ****!”
This last proclamation was caused by the sudden capsizing of Gryphus’ tank. Olimar, now free of Slade’s hold and awake, had sent his Pikmin into the fray.
Gryphus, swearing and not altogether pleased, exited his wrecked vehicle with his machine gun clutched in his fists. Immediately, he started firing, mowing down whatever Pikmin he could hit. Olimar threw a purple Pikmin over the wreckage and onto the machine gun, which crumpled. Gryphus was overcome by the swarm that followed, and then they turned their attentions towards the losing Titans. As far as Olimar was concerned, the battle wasn’t over yet.

OK, here's another chapter, after a somewhat long absence.
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
Captain Olimar blew his whistle, commanding his Pikmin to head towards Beast Boy, who was badly wounded, bleeding profusely, and fortunately for him, unconscious. Just as the doomed Titan was about to be finally killed by Slade, the villains were overcome by a sudden wave of brightly colored plant… creature… things.
Robin dodged another volley of arrows from Kim’s wrist, then countered with a couple of throwing discs. Kim then whipped out a giant sword from nowhere, the grin on her face becoming demonic. Robin tried to stop the ensuing blow with one of his staffs, which was split in half at once. He leapt backwards, then tossed out a few random weapons, which exploded, knocking Kim off her feet. Robin, seizing his chance, ran right up to the Empire leader, took her ridiculously huge sword… and then promptly fell over from the sheer weight. All in all, not the best of finishers.
Meanwhile, Starfire and Terra had managed to take out Paranoid Guy’s flamethrower. Bad news: he started using his rocket launcher. And Vice was now trying to dismember the two girls with her trusty, rusty chainsaw. Terra flung a couple of boulders towards Vice, who split them in half with the bladed weapon of death. Soon, though, it was apparent that the constant barrage of rocks was blunting the saw. Vice threw the still-running chainsaw at Starfire, who ducked. The weapon came back at a lower altitude, where it cut the end off Paranoid Guy’s rocket launcher. A rocket that was in the process of being fired detonated, blasting Paranoid Guy out of the tank and in a spot several yards away.
Through all of this, no one questioned how an army of tanks managed to get on that tiny island.
A:TLAA:TLAA:TLAA:TLAA:TLA
Oloshi finally arrived at the spot where the Avatar had fallen. He picked up Aang’s barely conscious form and spun him around to face the hunter.
“Why… are you targeting me?” Aang managed to say.
“Because I have been hired, and you are my quarry. Don’t try and put up a struggle, or I may have to knock you out. Don’t think I can’t.”
“How were you able to use all four kinds of bending?”
“I’ll explain later. I suggest on the way to the Fire Nation capital. I’m sure everyone will be delighted to see you.”
Later, Aang was in custody on Oloshi’s war balloon. As the mercenary fueled the vehicle, he told Aang his story.
“One hundred years ago, on the very day you were lost in ice, my grandfather was born. He was an Airbender, and if given time to grow into his teenage years, he would have already been a proficient bender. But then the temple was attacked. My grandfather was put into a secret room along with his mentor. Everyone else was slaughtered. He hadn’t understood what happened at the time… he was only two, after all. In time, his mentor passed on his knowledge, but died of natural causes when my grandfather was still only a novice. He found scrolls hidden away in the temple that taught advanced moves, which he quickly learned. By the time he was 13, he was a skilled Airbender. But then the Fire Nation came once more, making certain the job was finished.
My grandfather, whose name was Tawang, by the way, was forced to flee, flying over the sea to the Southern Water Tribe. He found refuge there, although he had to help protect from the constant Fire Nation attacks. Then one day, he was surrounded by Fire Nation troops, and they shot a fireball at him. Somehow, he instinctively pulled the snow from the ground with Waterbending to block the great ball of fire.
Eventually, he learned to use his surprising Waterbending. He married, and then he and his wife discussed his strange talent. He once tried to use Earthbending, but couldn’t. Then, they had a son, Sudoku. He turned out to be a skilled Waterbender, and when he was old enough, he moved to the Earth Kingdom.
He discovered that he could Earthbend, and later, Firebend, although he couldn’t use any of the Airbending moves from his father’s scrolls. He became a spy passing information on to the Earth Kingdom from the Fire Nation. From there, it was just one step for me, his son, to become a bounty hunter. I was born an Earthbender, learned Firebending from my father, discovered Airbending from my grandfather’s scrolls – not an easy feat, since it is my opposite element – and Waterbending from another set of scrolls I purchased. Since then, I’ve earned a tidy profit in capturing quarries for all sorts of people across the world.”
Aang thought about the story for a minute. Then he said, “But you didn’t ever say how this happened.”
“I never found conclusive proof of anything. But I think this is what happened. When you froze yourself in that ice block, the Avatar cycle became disrupted. A quirk in supernatural activity caused my grandfather to learn two elements, and then passed on through the generations, adding an element until me. I am a sort of pseudo-Avatar.”
“Why did you tell me all this?”
“You asked. And you are one of the only people who know I can do this.”

Vice was floored by Starfire and Terra’s combined effort, and then Kim was similarly rendered by Robin. That only left the grunts and the Empress. Raven and Espionage were coming to. Raven instantly flew to Beast Boy’s side, starting immediately to heal. Espionage looked down at his portal-maker, considered for a moment, and created a portal. Then he jumped in.
Olimar had successfully defeated the Titans villains with his Pikmin. Now, he commanded them to attack the Empire’s tanks. He threw some yellow ones up towards the circling bombers, which were taken down. The Hocotate captain smiled approvingly. He was a force to be reckoned with, especially against those people who had tried to enslave him.
The Empress watched this scene with alarm. Her lines of defense were being penetrated one by one. She snarled, and was about to order a retreat, when she thought better of it. After all, she had enough funding to buy more tanks and hire more troops. She sat back in her tank, drumming her fingers on the side of her grenade launcher. If the Titans got to her, she would be ready.

These Pikmin continue to piss me off... speaking of which, am I dead or something? hmm...
There is a sincere need for me to come in there with a chain gun and a Zanpakutou and destroy all those damn Pikmin...

I strongly recommend the second, but if you so desire, go with the first...

TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
Suddenly, reinforcements arrived for the Empire. The Flash zoomed through a crowd of Pikmin, the aftereffects killing some of them. Phil swooped down from the skies and vaporized several more with his neutron breath. Olimar quickly reacted, sending two groups after the superweapons, but the tables were turning… again. There were even more tanks and planes coming.
The Empress laughed with glee to see that she was winning again. What was more, General Gryphus was coming to, now completely unhinged. With a manic roar, he blasted anything colorful in sight with a conveniently located machine gun, almost hitting the Flash. Pikmin fell in quick succession, by three different conquering forces.
Raven desperately tried to heal Beast Boy, but he was starting to fade. She sobbed as her magic seemed to have no effect. His wounds were together proving too much for her to stop. And even as the other Titans saw this, Beast Boy’s life began to ebb.
Starfire and Terra fought back against the Empire’s powerhouses, but Starfire was tackled by the Flash, then Terra was flung a ways by Phil’s claw, where she collapsed in a heap.
Robin ran back into Titans Tower for a moment, then burst back out on his motorcycle, aiming a jump towards General Gryphus. The maddened officer blasted Robin’s bike with machine gun rounds, breaking it to pieces, while Robin leapt for him. For some odd, inexplicable reason, Gryphus knocked Robin out with the butt of the gun instead of shooting him, then resumed the frenzy of Pikmin slaughter witnessed earlier.

Oloshi walked Aang in handcuffs to the Fire Lord. The hunter had a mind to make it public that the Avatar was alive but caught.
“Fire Lord Ozai, I bring to you the Avatar,” grandly pronounced Oloshi.
“What is this? The Avatar is dead,” Ozai said.
“Apparently not, seeing as how your daughter hired me to take him down,” Oloshi remarked, smirking.
“Azula, is this true?” Ozai demanded.
“Yes, father,” admitted Azula, who happened to be in the throne room. “I had only the interests of the Fire Nation at heart. With a greater morale, they would have fought with more spirit.”
“May I suggest that the Avatar and his friends be taken to the Boiling Rock?” Oloshi cut in. “I would personally guard the Avatar himself.”
Azula, Ozai, and a present Zuko all looked at each other.
“Agreed.” Azula continued, “As an offhand note, how do you plan to contain the girl who can bend metal?”
“She is currently frozen in ice. If a constant supply is given until she is brought to the prison, we can get her inside one of the coolers and keep her there without worrying about melting.”
Later, Oloshi, Mai, Ty Lee, and Zuko were escorting the prisoners into the Boiling Rock in a warship. Oloshi, expanding his circle of trust, was Waterbending constantly to keep Toph on ice. Suddenly, a green glowing circle of light appeared in front of their vehicle. A person stepped out of it.
“Avatar,” Espionage said, “I need your…” He noticed Oloshi. “Um, who the heck are you?”
“Funny, that question seems more appropriate of us. I am Oloshi, bounty hunter and conqueror of the Avatar. Who, I might well ask, are you?”
“My name’s Espionage. I am a Teen Titan and traveler of universes. I have come seeking the aid of the Avatar in a battle we need help in, in return for helping him defeat the Fire Lord. However, I see that I need to fight the four of you for him.”
Oloshi stood in thought for a while, absently keeping Toph frozen, then remarked, “Zuko, have you heard the tale of your great-grandfather?”
“Yes… both of them,” Zuko said, rather taken aback by this sudden question. “Why?”
“Then you know your destiny lies with the Avatar rather than the Fire Nation,” Espionage chimed in, his eyes sparkling with TV knowledge.
“You stay out of this,” Oloshi snapped. “He’s right, though. And I, for one, was born in the Earth Kingdom, so no amount of money could persuade me to help in its downfall. Avatar, my true allegiance is with you.”
“You’re both right,” Zuko admitted. “Coming back to the Fire Nation, I realized that it wasn’t the world I belonged in. I will help you, Avatar, to defeat my father.”
“And bring balance to the Force,” Espionage muttered to himself.
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
Olimar retreated, gathering what few Pikmin he had remaining. Phil swooped down and ate some of the Pikmin… which happened to include a couple of white ones. Suffering the poison’s effects, Phil lurched and fell to the ground, not quite dead, but with a major case of food poisoning and unconscious.
The Flash, meanwhile, used a millisecond to run up to Robin, and half a second to give him an uppercut before he could react. Soon, four of the six Titans currently in that universe were contained within tanks, guarded by either the Empire’s leaders or squadrons of armed troops. Raven, meanwhile, had taken Beast Boy inside to the medical bay to try and heal him completely… or at least get him to live longer.

Probable Boiling Rock spoilers, but possibly not so much.
“So, what about you guys?” Oloshi asked of Ty Lee and Mai. “Will you help the Avatar?”
“I’m just going to do whatever Zuko wants,” Mai told him, leaning her head on his shoulder.
“I’ll go with it, too,” Ty Lee said. “I’m outnumbered anyway.”
“Wait a minute, I don’t trust any of you,” said Sokka from his bonds. “First of all, most of you guys have tried to take us out in the past. Especially you, Oloshi. You succeeded.”
“Too late for that now, here comes the prison,” Espionage remarked. Indeed, the Boiling Rock loomed in front of them. A guard came out and stepped onto their craft to greet them.
“Welcome to the Boiling Rock,” he announced. “We hope you stay here for a long time. Now, Azula sent a messenger hawk to me saying who is supposed to be here. There’s one extra. Why is there one extra?”
“I’m Oloshi’s partner,” Espionage lied. “I helped him defeat the Avatar, and he asked me to go with him to guard one or two of these prisoners.”
“Well, if you’re really his partner… I’ll need your name.”
“Jet,” said Katara, remembering the Freedom Fighter.
“Li,” Zuko said, remembering his former pseudonym.
“Exactly,” Espionage said, trying not to laugh. “My name is Jet Li. They must have picked it up on the way here.”
“Very well, Jet. I’ll make sure Princess Azula knows you’re here.”
“Azula probably doesn’t know about me. Oloshi was the one who corresponded with her, and if prior events are any indication, he never mentioned me.”
“Very well. You may bring in the prisoners and begin your guard duties.”
Oloshi kept refreezing Toph as Ty Lee pushed the ice along, heading for the cooler. Espionage suddenly remembered something.
“By the way, there was something else I wanted to ask you. This buffoon –” he indicated Sokka – “kept blabbering on about some warrior girl who might be here. Someone called Suki or something like that. Just tell me if there’s anyone like that here so I can shut him up.” Sokka’s eyes went wide.
“Yes, I believe she came in rather recently.”
“Good. I’ll try to get them near each other. Maybe I can get some peace.”
The remaining reforms took the rest of the prisoners into the Boiling Rock.
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
General Gryphus gave a high-pitched bout of manic laughter as he mowed down Pikmin, watching the ghostly forms rise up and dissipate. The Flash helped too, by running through the Pikmin and causing them to either fly into the air or burst into flames from the fiery trails that ensued. The Empress finally decided to pop out of her tank and hurl a few grenades in Olimar’s direction. The Captain was down to his last ten Pikmin. Thinking quickly, he knocked General Gryphus out with one, took down the Flash with eight more, then used the last one to crush the Empress’ grenade launcher. He regrouped the miserable few, hoping to hold out in time for a retreat to be ordered.
Meanwhile, in the medical bay, Raven was desperately trying to get Beast Boy conscious. He didn’t seem to be on the verge of dying anymore, but he was still hurt badly. Seeing the battle going on outside, she thought about her options for a moment. Beast Boy was fairly stable, just not awake. She could leave him to try and save the rest of her friends. She made up her mind, and rushed to the door.
The Empress, deprived of her favorite weapon, barked out orders.
“I don’t care how cute those things are, kill the rest of them! Tanks, bombers, prepare to open fire on Titans Tower! And Kip, get me a waffle!” Windows shattered and floors collapsed as the Tower was bombarded. It looked more like an I than a T now. The last few Pikmin were assaulted by other troops, the last vestiges of Olimar’s army snuffed out. And yes, the Empress did get her waffle.
The tech minions finally repaired the damage to Kiryu. The mech rose with a shriek of rage, flying out onto the battlefield and viciously attacking Raven, who had just left the building.
Beast Boy, lying in the medical bay, was undisturbed by the bombing of his home, until he finally awoke. He suddenly shouted in pain, feeling the full effects of his wounds. In a few moments, he had recovered from the shock, and eventually, staggered to his feet. A ceiling tile cracked and fell next to him. Beast Boy then realized that the noise wasn’t just the battle outside, but that the building was about to collapse. He sucked up the throbbing pain and ran towards the door, trying to escape.
Raven’s shields were being taken out as soon as they were put up. Kiryu was insane with fury, but managed to calm down enough to yell, “Where is Espionage?!”
“He left.”
“What do you mean, left?! He can’t have left! I have unfinished business to settle with that lucky son of a –”
“He’s gone, off in another universe. You’ve missed him, and now he’ll only be back once he’s got reinforcements.”
“Then I will make sure he comes directly to me once he gets back. He won’t dare attack if I have his girlfriend hostage, now will he?” With that, Kiryu slammed Raven into the ground and tied her up with special un-Ravenable restraints that Slade had used earlier. Then, the mech cackled with triumph and started to drag her off towards the Empire’s main cluster of tanks.
Beast Boy, once he had gotten out of the tower, saw Raven being carted away, and went into a state of despair. All the other Titans had been captured, Titans Tower was being destroyed, Olimar was being shackled and thrown into a tank, and he was wounded. He couldn’t possibly take out this many people and vehicles by himself. He set his jaw, though, and transformed into a T-Rex, determined to do everything he could before he got captured… or killed.
Three seconds later, Beast Boy was taken down by the Flash and the tanks, and tossed unceremoniously into another tank. The Teen Titans had been defeated. The Empress looked down on her checklist of things to do. She put a checkmark next to “Destroy Titans Tower,” and decided to go ahead and put one next to “Defeat Teen Titans.” She looked further on the list and was pleased to see that “Conquer the rest of the world” was next on the agenda. This was going to be fun. The army turned around, leaving the ruins of the Tower.

A:TLAA:TLAA:TLAA:TLAA:TLA
Espionage looked down the corridor one way, then the other. Very dramatically. Then he winced as Sokka and Suki started exchanging romantic comments from their neighboring cells again. Not even bothering to try to get a word in edgewise, Espionage waited out the sappy conversation. Then, once it had died down, he looked at his watch and knocked on Sokka’s door.
“It’s time,” he said simply, and unlocked both his charges’ doors. He led them down to the cooler, telling the guard he met that it was the Warden’s orders. When he got there, everyone else was already waiting.
Sokka and Oloshi exchanged brief nods, and entered the cooler. There was the sound of dripping water, then some muffled conversation. Then there was a loud thump and the sound of Oloshi crying out in pain. Then there was some more muffled conversation, and silence. Toph and Sokka walked out of the cooler, but Oloshi was twitching and whimpering.
“That girl’s lethal with a piece of metal and unarmored pants,” he gasped.
“I can’t believe you came up with this plan,” Sokka said to Espionage. “Using the insulation from the cooler to float it safely down the boiling lake? That’s genius!”
“Actually, you came up with it in a parallel universe,” Espionage admitted.
“What?”
“Never mind that now, it’s hard to explain. Let’s roll.”
Toph unbolted and thrust out the cooler from the wall once everyone was on it, then Aang and Oloshi jumped out (well, Oloshi flopped out), and cushioned the fall with Airbending, then Aang and Katara got the flow going with Waterbending. Before long, they were on the other side of the lake.
“Well, that was ridiculously easy,” Oloshi commented, then Espionage whipped out his trusty universe gun. He shot the air, and a glowing portal appeared.
“Wait a minute,” Sokka burst out. “How come you couldn’t have done that before?”
“Dramatic effect, Sokka, dramatic effect,” Espionage said casually. “I haven’t actually done any espionage work in a long time.” Then the whole party jumped in.
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
Back in the Empire’s headquarters, the Empress was hearing a new prisoner’s plea for mercy.
“Please, I’ll give you anything! My prize, my money, my solar power… anything! Just have mercy!”
“Sorry, Mr. Gore,” the Empress said with a smile on her face. “Here’s an inconvenient truth for you… we don’t do that.”
His screams got quieter as the guards dragged him off, then were cut off by a crunching noise and a growl from Phil. The Empress sighed in content.
“It’s been a while since we’ve done something like that. It’s nice to get back to normal. By the way, have any of the Titans even tried to escape?”
“No,” General Gryphus replied, in a somewhat surprised tone. “We’ve scheduled their grisly and satisfying executions in an hour, and they’ve still hardly tried. Raven’s especially quiet. What could be going on?”
“Wait a minute… we never caught Espionage, did we?”
“No, but Kiryu’s got Raven covered waiting for him to come…. Dammit. He’s got an escape plan.”
“Picking something up coming towards the base,” a technician announced. “Looks like Espionage with a few Avatar characters. Weird.”
“****!” Gryphus yelled. “Just when I think I’ve got my most hated enemy out of the way, ANOTHER one shows up!!!! All right. Now he’s asking for it.” The General jabbed the intercom button. “Whoever knows where my box labeled, ‘Really ****ing Huge Weapons’ is, bring it here NOW!” In the meantime, he picked up his sword and a machine gun and ground his teeth. “Time to rock and roll.”
Meanwhile, Espionage and his crew stopped in front of a small building called, “ESUN Merchandise Store: Officially Allowed to Live by The Empress!” They shrugged, and Espionage walked in.
A couple of moments later, he walked out again carrying a map.
“These things must be constantly updated. Here’s each room where the Titans and Olimar are, as well as who’s guarding them. All right. I’ll get Raven, Aang and Zuko have Robin, Katara has Starfire, Ty Lee and Mai have Terra, Sokka and Suki have Olimar, Oloshi has Beast Boy, and Toph has Cyborg. Here, take these communicators.” He handed a Titans communicator to each member of the party.
“Where did you get these? “ Sokka asked.
“Each Titan is required to carry an infinite supply at all times. …No, I don’t know how it works. All right, people. Titans, go!”

hi ho... hi ho... it's off to Avatar and Espionage hunting I go...
hmm...
although, from your descriptions, I have a feeling you're gonna screw up X-02M and ADF-01M... I wouldn't necessarily store them in a box labeled "****ing big weapons" or whatever in hell you had... bigger isn't always better ;)... although now I fear that I may have just said too much about them, so I'll shut up now...
And besides, you know how hard they'll smack me if I lock them in a box? Damn, I might as well write my will if I did that... The "Onee-chan" is one I'd especially NOT want to piss off....

MISSION1:OLIMAR
In the Empire’s base, a few guards stood making sure Olimar didn’t escape. Suddenly, a boomerang came flying around the corner of the doorway. One of the guards fired at it, but got hit, falling to the ground while still firing his machine gun. The other guards were shot by stray bullets and collapsed. Sokka entered the room, followed by Suki.
“Huh, guess Olimar wasn’t too important to guard,” Sokka remarked.
MISSION2:TERRA
Ty Lee and Mai didn’t take such a subtle approach. Instead, they just burst right in on Kim, who immediately pointed one of her weapons at Mai. Mai, in response, readied a few of her darts.
“Couldn’t you just give us Terra?” Ty Lee asked.
“Sorry, girls, but I’ve been given direct orders to stop you.”
Ty Lee did some strange contortionist trick where she put her legs behind her head and then flipped so that she was walking on her hands. “I’ll teach you how to do that,” she offered.
Kim thought for a moment. “Done.”
MISSION3:CYBORG
Toph broke the metal door down quickly to face Paranoid Guy, who was in front of Cyborg’s parts. Without even saying a word, Toph ran at him. Paranoid Guy took out his rocket launcher and fired it. Toph, not being able to see where it was in the air, put up rock walls on all sides. The rocket decimated the wall, but did nothing to Toph. She hurled a rock at Paranoid Guy, who blasted it with another rocket. He switched to a flamethrower, which was crushed instantly by yet another boulder. He fumbled for his spare rockets, but the box was pushed up onto a tall spire of stone, courtesy of the Blind Bandit. With no options left, Paranoid Guy sighed and put up his hands. Toph collected Cyborg, who still had some assembly required, and left the room.
MISSION4:STARFIRE
Meanwhile, Katara entered the room where Starfire was on some version of the rack, with Vice at the wheel. Vice picked up her chainsaw from the floor, but it was plucked out of her hands by a water whip. Vice snarled and instead grabbed an axe from a tool bench, but her feet were frozen to the floor as she rushed toward Katara. The axe flew out of her hands and sunk deep into the door across the hall. As Vice struggled to free herself, Katara released Starfire, and together they bound and gagged Vice.
MISSION5:BEASTBOY
Oloshi reduced the door to cinders in a very bored manner, then gave the Flash a quick blow to the jaw with a column of rock. Then, itching for some real action, he snapped the heavy-duty rubber bands holding down Beast Boy and got him out.
MISSION6:ROBIN
The Empress answered her phone while she was in Robin’s containment chamber.
“Hello? Yes… yes… yes, of course. I’ll tell him. Yes, I understand. OK, see you tomorrow. Bye.” Robin stopped struggling furiously and cocked an eyebrow.
“Oh, that was the Joker and Lex Luthor,” the Empress explained. “They heard we killed the Justice League, and wanted to join us. Oh, by the way, the Joker says hi.”
As Robin practically foamed at the mouth, Aang and Zuko finally burst in.
“Stop!” “We can’t let you do this!”
“And I can’t let you do that, either,” Gryphus said calmly, stepping from the shadows and pressing the muzzle of a really ****ing huge weapon to Aang’s back. “I won’t let some bald arrow-headed kid get the best of me. You won’t be lifting a finger to try and save Robin. Not with this really ****ing huge weapon ready to splatter your intestines onto the wall.”
“Wow, and we can’t even say ‘kill,’” Zuko remarked.
“You know, I would have used X0-2M and ADF-01M, but….”
In a flashback, General Gryphus stared disbelievingly at a technician, quivering with anger.
“You… did… what?!” he hissed through clenched teeth.
“Sent X0-2M and ADF-01M up in space along with some other useless junk. We managed to get them into a satellite. Don’t worry, if we ever need them, we can call them back to us in a day, tops.”
Gryphus was suddenly distracted by the sound of a laser engineer running towards him.
“General Gryphus, I’ve got good news! We just destroyed an unidentified satellite hovering above our base!”
Gryphus stood in shocked silence for a while. Then, calmly and slowly, he shot both of them. With his neck muscles tightened to breaking point, he went to go hit a punching bag for a few days.
Gryphus shoved the barrel of the really ****ing huge weapon into Aang’s back again after coming out of the flashback. Aang twisted his neck around to see that a purple tube as big as a tree trunk was protruding from the really ****ing huge weapon and continuing down the hall out of sight.
“That’s right, that’s how ****ing huge this weapon is. So don’t try anything, or - what the?!”
Gryphus was tripped by the manhole cover he was standing on being pushed up by a guy wearing black and red. When he hit the ground, his head struck pretty hard and he was rendered unconscious.
“Hey, this isn’t the National Bank of Xenothium!” Red X exclaimed. “Where am I?”
“Thank you, deus ex machina!” Aang commented.
The Empress just stared through this whole thing, then suddenly took a remote out and pressed the button on it. Panels in the wall opened to reveal laser cannons, which opened fire on Aang, Zuko, and Red X. Red X tossed out a… well, an X that stretched to touch the walls, which absorbed some of the laser blasts. While Aang cowered behind the shield, Zuko and Red X attacked the Empress. She dropped the remote, which Zuko picked up and pressed. The cannons stopped firing, and Zuko melted the controller.
The Empress ran, but Aang stuck his staff in the middle of her path and tripped her. She tumbled, and then with a shout of frustration, sprinted off back to her throne room.
Red X laughed when he finally noticed Robin bound to the table.
“Well, if it isn’t Robin! This is, what, the fourth time I’ve saved you?”
Still chuckling, he helped Aang and Zuko get Robin out of his restraints and back to the entrance.
MISSION7:RAVEN
Espionage crept down the corridor slowly. When he reached the door to the room that Raven was being held in, he kicked the door in. He immediately started firing his laser pistol, but stopped when he realized Kiryu had been blocking them lazily with his plasma swords. Then Espionage really looked at the room he was in, and realized it was an arena. He looked around for a few nanoseconds and, yep, there was Phil, looking hungry and eager. And then Espionage noticed something missing. Like, say, the actual person he was supposed to be saving.
Kiryu noticed Espionage’s confusion, and gave a snort of amusement.
“You fool. Did you actually think that I would be stupid enough to leave Raven in plain sight, where if you incapacitated me for a mere few moments, you could free her and be on your merry way?”
“Um, yeah, that’s what everyone else does…”
“Well, I am not ‘everyone else.’ I have a remote here that can only be activated once I am completely and utterly destroyed. If it does somehow become activated, Raven will be lowered into the arena, where you could potentially free her and leave. However, I have also set the remote to break Phil’s leash when activated, and lower impervious walls into every possible exit. On the other hand, I’ve given you a sporting chance. If you can, by those miracles you seem to get all too often, kill Phil, the gates will retract again automatically, and all you’ll have to deal with is the almost endless supply of guards and tanks and weapons that the Empire have in their base. So come on. Let’s do this.”
Espionage’s eyes narrowed. He aimed his laser pistol. Then, the Titans, the Gaang, Olimar, and Red X ran into the arena. A few seconds later, the newly armed leaders of the Empire, along with Slade, the Joker, and the Flash, came in behind them.
“This happens way too often,” Espionage lamented as he prepared for yet another battle.
By the way, what ARE those two weapons you mentioned earlier?

By the way, what ARE those two weapons you mentioned earlier?
Ahh, you shall soon see enough, for I claim that I get to write the next chapter of this fic, and it will be then that at least one of them will make their grand entrance.
Other than that, apart from the parts where I got knocked out by Red X and my precious X-02M and ADF-01M were shot at, this was pretty good. Interesting how you split it up.

Too late, I already beat you to it. :p
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
Kiryu was laughing as he toyed with Espionage, who had switched his pistol into a sword again. Even as Kiryu hardly tried, Espionage was forced on the defensive. He was barely blocking two swords with his one. Meanwhile, nearby, Olimar ducked and dodged through the crowd, questioning his sanity in coming here without any weapons. He then stopped and looked over at Espionage in trouble, and got a crazy idea.
Robin avoided the Joker’s razor-sharp playing cards, while he stood there with his trademark smile plastered on his face.
“Hey, Bird-Boy!” he cackled, while he tossed out more killer kings. “Miss me?”
“I missed you about as much as I miss the one broken bone I ever got. Ever.”
Meanwhile, all the rest of the people were fighting. Beast Boy turned into a crocodile and attacked General Gryphus, who slashed at him with his sword. Starfire took a shot at Slade, who dodged and kicked Mai aside while he was at it. Katara was shoved to the ground by the Empress, who was in turn tackled by Cyborg. Several other people tussled in the scuffle.
Kiryu had Espionage backed up against the wall. He raised his swords and laughed a private, triumphant laugh. Then, Olimar leapt onto his back. Kiryu screamed and stopped to fling Olimar off. Olimar landed hard enough to crack his helmet and releasing deadly (to him) oxygen into the suit. Espionage took the vital opportunity of Kiryu’s split-second distraction to slash with his sword. Kiryu gasped as his wrist and hand clattered to the floor.
“Impossible!” he cried out. Espionage then severed Kiryu’s other arm, plus his legs.
“Nobody can beat me!” Kiryu shouted defiantly. “How could you possibly cut off my limbs so easily?”
“These swords,” Espionage explained while holding up Kiryu’s arms, “are like lightsabers. Everything yields.” With that, he viciously scalped the mech with his own swords, exposing his circuitry.
“Wait… what… what are you doing? If you destroy my mind, then… I’ll not only be shut down, I’ll… I’ll never be able to come back.”
“I know,” Espionage answered simply as he gripped the wires.
“No… please…” The robot was actually pleading now. He was plainly panicked.
Espionage looked at him for a second. Then, he yanked out Kiryu’s mind. He tossed it into the air, switched his sword back into a gun, and shot it in midair. It exploded, scattering the burning components. He then looked over at Olimar suffocating, whipped out his universe gun, and got the captain back to Hocotate.
Suddenly, Phil’s leash snapped. Thick metal walls covered everything that could be used as an escape route. Then, a door with no visible means of entry slid up, revealing a small closet. Raven was in there, bound and gagged. Espionage rushed to free her, followed by Beast Boy.
Phil rushed towards the Titans, for some reason pursuing Starfire first. He seemed to enjoy the challenge of chasing another flying creature. Robin instinctively shot a grappling hook at Phil, in a vain attempt to attack the dragon.
“All right, so here’s the plan,” Espionage was telling Raven and BB as they ran at the villains. “I’ll jump us into another universe, then back here.”
“But won’t we be in here still?”
“No, I made this thing capable of popping us into any time period or location in that universe. We’ll be anywhere we feel like.”
“OK, I’ll roll with that. Now all we have to do is collect the heroes scattered around this place.”
Raven took to the skies and informed Starfire and Robin, while Espionage and Beast Boy fought their way into the crowd and told some people while battling their foes.
Soon, all the heroes were informed. Espionage ran to the edge of the arena, and created a portal, shouting, “NOW!” Immediately, all the heroes sprinted or flew to the glowing green ellipse, while trying to stop the villains from doing the same. When they were all in, Espionage followed and sealed the hole in the space-time continuum.
They popped out in the middle of a grassy field, where a kid was telling an electric mouse to attack a giant bee. Espionage had decided to plant them in the Pokémon world.
“Come on, keep it moving, folks,” Espionage ushered, gesturing towards the fresh portal he had made.
This time, they ended up outside the Titans East’s tower.
“Hey,” Cyborg greeted Bumblebee when she answered the door. “Our tower was destroyed. Can we stay with you guys while it’s being repaired?”
Meanwhile, back at the Empire’s base, the Empress looked around the arena for a few moments.
“Does anyone know how we’re going to get out of here?”

Alright, I made the few small modifications needed to fit in since Charles added in a new chapter. I present X-02M's grand entrance.
Chapter X: The Monument to All Their Sins
While Empress still fumed at her loss in the arena, General Gryphus had managed to weasel himself away and regroup. Espionage and the Titans had crossed the line, and now he wasn’t going to pull any more punches. He knew they were hiding out at the Titans East Tower, so this was his time to strike. All remaining units had been formed into one massive battle-group, which now was outside the Tower. Although all this was a decoy, just buying time for the Strategic Orbital Linear Gun to get into position. All of Steel City and Titans would be burnt to a cinder, he would make sure of it.
“Ahh, General…” Espionage mused as he stepped out of the front door of the tower, followed by the rest of the Titans and the Avatar’s gang. “Back for another ass kicking?”
“Arrogant little bastard. Your meddling in our grand design is going to end today, with your death.”
“I apologize then, but meddling in the plans of the evil is what heroes do best,” Espionage retorted.
“Really now?” Gryphus leveled his gold-plated Desert Eagle at Espionage’s head. “Then I guess we’ll just have to end the meddling at the sour-” He was cut off at the sound of a ringing phone. “Excuse me for a moment…” The General dug through his pocket, eventually emerging with a cell phone, which he proceeded to answer while keeping the gun pointed at the hero.
“Hello? … Oh, how nice it is to here from you. Good thing you’re alright… Sorry, I already took care of that matter… Shot him in the head. He’s lying in a puddle of his own blood back at HQ as we speak… Well, its not like I can just bring him back to life so you can kill him again… Alright, I’ll make it up to you. Standing in front are some lads and lasses that I would just love to see dead, and if you get here in less than 5 minutes, I’ll let you have fun with them… Okay, see ya in a few. Bye.”
“General… who was that?”
“You shall find out when everyone else here does,” Gryphus replied as he lowered his firearm and shoved his phone back into his pocket. “You all are a lucky bunch of annoyances, you know that? Because all of you are going to die, here on this battlefield, at the hands of a super-weapon so clouded in secrecy, that even the Empress doesn’t know of her existence. You see, that call was from the aforementioned weapon, which you can blame Cyborg for its coming into existence.”
“What the hell are you talking about?” Cyborg demanded. Gryphus chuckled.
“I am assured you remember your little brawl with Atlas. A ways back in time, while planning out how to defeat you all, I came across the documentation of that fight. It got me thinking. How can Atlas lose to Cyborg, who is clearly technologically inferior? It wasn’t strategy, which you both clearly lacked, but rather the one thing you had that Atlas didn’t, the human part of you. Those certain traits of humans, such as instinct and effort, are what led you to victory.”
“I know all of that. What are you implying?”
“You don’t get it, do you? That fight was the inspiration for the super-weapon, X-02M. Look at Kiryu. Like Atlas, he’s a cybernetic killing machine, but if you were to give him some of those human traits I mentioned before, his power could theoretically be increased ten-fold.”
“So what you have coming is pretty much another Kiryu with a different processor under the hood…”
“Not quite… To keep my explanation short, in military designations, “M” stands for “Modified”. While Kiryu is based off his larger counterpart of the former Japanese Xenomorphic Self Defense Force, X-02M is based off of the X-02 Wyvern advanced tactical fighter. She is lighter, faster and a lot more agile than Kiryu, but doesn’t sacrifice any killing prowess. Needless to say, the tactics used against Kiryu won’t work at all…”
-2 Minutes Later -
“So… where’s this super-weapon that you were ranting about earlier…” Espionage groaned.
“Never known her to be timely… Soldiers, prepare for battle. Her 5 minute window ends in 3… 2…” Gryphus cut off as a section of ground in front of him exploded, sending rock fragments in every direction. A pillar of dust rose from crater. “Always in for the dramatic entrance, aren’t ya…”
“Awe, come on!” whined a feminine voice from within the crater. “Graceful, gentle entrances are boring as hell. That’s what you always said, father.”
“… Why do you insist on calling me that?”
“Well, you’ve done a lot more than others who’ve earned the title. All they did was provide some stupid chromosomes, but you created me, raised me, and taught me everything I know, without any help. That is why I insist.”
“Right… Well, at least step out of the hole in the ground, X-02M…”
“Wait…” Espionage spluttered. “You mean to tell me that some robot sees you as a father? What the hell?”
“I’m having a father/daughter bonding moment! Don’t interrupt me!”
“Umm… okay then…” Espionage turned to the other Titans and made a gesture that he thought that Gryphus was just a bit insane.
X-02M emerged from the crater with a single graceful leap. The resemblance to the X-02 was striking. Most of her body was covered in a carbon fiber skin that had been painted a camouflage pattern of blue and purple. The X-02’s signature switchblade-like wings grew from the swell of her back. Her legs were the engines of the fighter, with the nozzles almost acting like “shoes”. She actually had a human head, with black hair and blue eyes. Well, human head apart from the fact that where her ears should’ve been, a pair of canards stuck out from the sides of her head.
“X-02M, I apologize, but I think our reunion will have to be cut a bit short. It appears that those juvenile delinquents are getting a bit annoying with my talking. I have a request of you.”
“Sure thing… although, a quick request… can you please call me Wyvee-tan? X-02M sounds too formal…”
“Alright, Wyvee-tan. Now, do me a favor and kill all of those pathetic whelps that dared intervene in the ESUN’s affairs…” A smirk played across Wyvee-tan’s face as she cracked her knuckles.
“Gladly…”

Hmmm... I'll keep it. You didn't kill anyone.
Espionage gulped. “May I have a moment?” he asked. He then calmly stepped back a pace, and put a shield around the Tower. Then he ran back inside with the rest of the Titans.
“What kind of weapons do you think she has?” Robin inquired.
“I don’t know, but I hope they aren’t plasma swords!” He stopped when he got a ways into the Tower. “We need reinforcements.”
“Where are we going to get reinforcements?” Zuko yelled. “We’re surrounded by our enemies!”
“Oh, not reinforcements from around here,” Espionage explained, sliding out his universe gun. “You hold them off. I’ll be back in no time.” He then made a portal and jumped in.
Immediately, another portal opened on the roof. Four Arwings zoomed out and shot a few planes on their way up to destroy the Strategic Orbital Linear Gun. Then, yet another opened right where Espionage had disappeared a moment before. He stepped out of it with six Poké Balls strapped to his belt.
“I’m going in.”
“Wouldn’t that be out?” Beast Boy pointed out.
“Shut up.”
Espionage stepped outside and faced Wyvee-tan.
Wild Wyvee-tan appeared!
Go, Charizard!
Charizard used Flamethrower!
It’s super effective!
Wild Wyvee-tan used A Weapon!
Charizard used Fire Blast!
Charizard’s attack missed!
Wild Wyvee-tan used A Weapon!
Charizard fainted!
Go, Mewtwo!
Mewtwo blinked!
It’s super effective!
Wyvee-tan used Explosive Weapon!
Mewtwo used Nothing!
A critical hit!
It’s super effective!
Wyvee-tan used Superweapon!
A critical hit!
Mewtwo used UBERNESS!!!
It’s super effective!
Actually, it’s ridiculously effective!
Wyvee-tan used Killer Weapon!
Mewtwo finally fainted!
Your foe’s weak! Get ‘em, Captain Falcon!
Wyvee-tan used a Full Restore!
Wyvee-tan was fully healed!
Captain Falcon used T3H FALCON PUNCH!!!!!
Wyvee-tan fainted!
Captain Falcon don’t need no stinking Exp. Points!
Espionage pumped his fist as Wyvee-tan toppled, surprised. She hadn’t expected Captain Falcon’s Falcon Punch to be made of FIRE.
“FALCON PUNCH!!!” Falcon screamed again as he pummeled a tank. Espionage got to work trying to disable Wyvee-tan’s computer systems.
Meanwhile, up in space, the four Arwings zoomed towards the Empire’s nuke shooter.
“I thought he said this was a Solar Operated Laser Gun,” Falco complained.
“Guess it’s a Strategic Orbital Linear Gun instead,” Fox shrugged. “Look, there it is strategically orbiting.”
“And it’s so linear,” Slippy said in that annoying voice of his. “Can I blow it up, Fox? Can I, canicanicanicanicanicanicanicanicanicancanican I?”
“NO!” Fox yelled. “Aaagh, enemy fighters! I can’t shake ‘em!”
Peppy came over the system. “Fox, do a bar…”
“Don’t say it….”
“Fine, you know what to do anyway.”
As the Star Fox team continued to blast fighters, the giant weapon got closer.
“Ready, Falco?” Fox asked.
“Ready!”
“Use bombs wisely!” Peppy advised.
“FIRE!” Fox and Falco each shot their Smart Bombs into the gullet of the Linear Gun. As the bombs exploded, so did the nukes inside the gun, causing a chain reaction. The Star Fox team flew back to Earth quickly as the SOLG exploded.
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Back at the Empire’s base, the Empress had also somehow gotten out of the COMPLETELY INSECAPABLE arena. She was interviewing replacement candidates for Kiryu, having not heard of Wyvee-tan.
“Robot #1, enter.”
“Greetings, Empress. My designation number is Q7-0V. How may I serve you?”
“You have been programmed for destruction, correct?”
“Affirmative. My weapons supply includes… loading, please wait… everything.”
“Everything?”
“Affirmative.”
“Even a medium-sized waffle iron?” The aforementioned cooking tool popped out of the robot’s shoulder. “Impressive….”
“Now, one last question. Does mercy compute?” the Empress asked tentatively.
“Affirmative. Definition; compassionate or kindly forbearance shown toward an offender, an enemy, or other person in one's power; compassion, pity, or benevolence.”
“It doesn’t fill the void!” the Empress wailed.

Gryphus, who hadn’t left the field, gaped in astonishment.
“But… how the hell did you even know about the SOLG?” he spluttered.
“I looked up and saw it coming,” Espionage shrugged. He yanked out Wyvee-tan’s CPU.
“How… how did you defeat Wyvee-tan? That looked so… so… easy.”
“The element of surprise was on my side. Now,” said Espionage, pointing his gun at Gryphus, “I suggest you flee back to your superior. You can have this,” he said, kicking Wyvee-tan’s exterior towards the General. “I doubt it’ll do you much good.” Gryphus’ mouth opened and closed a few times. Then, with hesitation, he started to drag X-02M towards the Empire’s base. Espionage smirked and began shooting at some of the Empire’s tanks, tossing the CPU over his shoulder.
Once General Gryphus got back to the base, he went directly to the throne room to explain himself.
“General… what’s that?” the Empress asked curiously, pointing at Wyvee-tan’s husk.
As Gryphus explained, the Empress’ eyebrows crept up her forehead.
“So you mean to tell me that not only did you sneak a major project under my nose, but you also launched an assault against the Titans that cost us the SOLG?!”
“Um, yes, that’s exactly what I’m saying.”
“Ah, I see. Then what do we do now?”
“I’m going to get the backup of Wyvee-tan’s memory that I required my scientists to make for each robot.”
“I see. Carry on.”
Meanwhile, the Titans had finished decimating the General’s forces.
“We really need to find a quicker way to get rid of those privates,” Beast Boy gasped, leaning against the wreckage of a tank.
“Agreed. They seem easy to defeat, but can be quite exhausting in large quantities,” Starfire concurred.
“That’s it,” Robin said suddenly. “I know how we’ll beat all those grunts at once.”
“Ah, I know what you’re saying,” Espionage realized, tapping his temple. “You want us to…”
“Destroy the Empire’s cloning facilities,” they finished together.
“All the Empire’s troops are bred there,” Raven said. “We could potentially deal the Empire such a crippling blow, they’d never recover.”
“Cloning? Robots?” Sokka burst out. “I’m just not getting all this technology.”
“Don’t worry, you don’t have to,” Espionage shrugged. He then pulled out the map he bought outside the Empire’s base a while back. It had somehow changed design to reflect the current state of the base. He and Robin huddled over it and discussed.
“There’s a pipe here leading straight to the facilities….” “How convenient, all the scientists that worked on the cloning projects are in the same room….”
“All right, Aang will use a combination of Waterbending and Airbending to shoot himself through this sewage pipe here,” Espionage explained. “Then, he will place this bomb -” he produced a bomb out of nowhere and handed it to Aang – “and put it straight under the manhole under the cloning lab. After that, you’ll set the timer and get the hell out of there. Meanwhile, Red X will teleport into the Empire’s vault via his magic belt. Then, he will destroy the blueprints to the cloning vats by any means possible.”
“What’s in it for me?” Red X questioned.
“I hear the Empress stores xenothium in her vaults. Plus, there’s a lot of money. I want 20% for the Titans.”
“Done and done.”
“Now where was I? Ah yes. This will completely eliminate any chance for the Empire to rebuild their facilities. Any questions? Good. Robin, you get them set. I have other matters to attend to.” With that, he turned on his heel and left.
Later, he found himself outside the Empire’s base, looking for a dumpster. When he found one, he searched through the top layer. He found what he was looking for; the discarded body of Kiryu. He fished the parts out and started to put them together, making a few minor modifications. Then he burst through the nearest door. By sheer coincidence, it turned out to be exactly the room he was looking for. Scientists jumped in their swivel chairs.
“All right, hand over the backup memory,” Espionage demanded.
“We gave Wyvee-tan’s memory…”
“Not Wyvee-tan, you idiots. Kiryu!”
“Ah. Yes. Right away.”
In minutes, Kiryu was powered up again. He awoke with a roar.
“Espionage, I’m going to ****ing KILL Y… um, hello there. Just a question, but why are you standing there calmly when I’m about to rip out your intestines and wear them around my neck like leis?”
“Because there’s a new superweapon in town called Wyvee-tan, and I need your help defeating her.”
“So, let me get this straight. You’re having trouble with a new weapon, and you’re so desperate, you’ll reactivate me in the hopes that I’ll help you?”
“That’s right.”
“You’re screwed, you know that? I’m going back to my job.” Just as Kiryu was about to take off, Espionage played his best card.
“Well, I wouldn’t expect your old position back. Wyvee-tan’s replaced you.”
Kiryu stopped and activated his plasma swords. “That ***** dies now.”

TTETTETTETTETTETTETTE
Espionage and Kiryu ran through the halls of the Empire’s base, making as much commotion as possible.
“Are you sure that Gryphus will send Wyvee-tan out?” Kiryu asked.
“Of course! Gryphus will be so anxious to send out his new superweapon again and brag about how smart he was to make a backup memory.”
Indeed, Wyvee-tan intercepted them as soon as they entered a wide open ballroom.
“You really think Gryphus would even consider giving you your position back?” Wyvee-tan laughed. “He happens to be my father.” Kiryu turned to Espionage and gave him a quizzical look.
“Don’t even ask.”
“You go do your thing,” Kiryu dismissed. “I have a score to settle with her.” Espionage nodded and ran off towards a different exit.
Meanwhile, Aang and Red X were ready to start their mission. Aang, clutching the bomb and wearing scuba equipment, dove into the correct pipe, while Red X vanished into thin air.
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Technicians in the Empire frowned at their monitors at once.
“Sir, you might want to take a look at this,” one of them said to General Gryphus.
“Oh, what is it?” he groaned. “I was watching Wyvee-tan and Kiryu fight.”
“Someone’s shooting through a sewage pipe. It looks like Aang.”
“Deal with him. I’m going back to watching the battle.” The scientists looked at each other.
“Do you know what to do?” one of them asked another.
“No, you?”
TTETTETTETTETTETTETTE
Espionage calmly walked through the halls of the Empire’s jail, looking for the right cell. When he found one with coffee stains all over the floor, he nodded and shot the door open. In the corner, he found the universe-merging cannon he had left in the base earlier. He found the purple canister still sitting in it, and thus immediately fired it up. He hit the reverse switch just as the Justice League’s villains emerged, chasing him down. A purple glow washed over everything, and the villains disappeared.
In the Empress’ room, the Flash vanished. The Empress swore and put her clothes back on.
A:TLAA:TLAA:TLAA:TLAA:TLA
Aang swam through the pipe, while pursued by a few soldiers. He shot icicles back, one of which punctured the breathing tube of one of his enemies. Aang then put up a rock wall to slow the soldiers down. He continued to shoot through the pipe, then reached the end. He placed the bomb on the underside of the manhole due to the bomb’s magnetized bottom. Then he started the timer and shot off back through the sewage. When he got to the rock wall he had created, the privates broke through, and then were promptly left in the dust by the Avatar’s escaping.
Red X, meanwhile, found himself in the direct middle of the Empire’s vaults. He scooped up all the cash he could carry, slid a few vials of xenothium into his belt, and set fire to the rest.
TTETTETTETTETTETTETTETTE
Kiryu sank to his knees, as sparks played across a few parts of his torso. Wyvee-tan lifted him by the throat and tossed him across the room, where he dented the wall. He tried to get up, but couldn’t quite. Then a flash of green whizzed by Wyvee-tan’s ear.
“Over here, you hunk of metal,” Espionage yelled. Wyvee-tan turned around to see him standing there with his pistol drawn. When she moved, he surrounded himself with a green bubble. Unlike other times, this one was solid, so that he couldn’t be seen. Kiryu saw this, then smiled as he realized what was happening.
“Your shields didn’t block all sight before…” Wyvee-tan said warily.
“I modified them. They now instantly block any projectile up to the size of, say, a bullet. Unfortunately, anything larger goes right through.” Wyvee-tan shot a few rounds at the shield. They seemed to dissipate upon hitting the shield.
“What, you actually thought that would work?” Espionage snorted. Wyvee-tan snarled and ripped off one of Kiryu’s arm and hurled it at the shield. It went through, and there was a sound like a hand grabbing metal.
“Come on, I caught that in midair. You know you’ll have to charge me eventually.”
Wyvee-tan screamed in frustration, then lowered her head and barreled straight towards the green bubble. When she hit it, she went straight through and disappeared. Espionage started laughing and deactivated his universe portal gun.
“Such an effective weapon, but so very gullible,” Kiryu remarked, straining to get up. “By the way, where’d you send her?” He then managed to get on his feet and staggered towards Espionage.
“Straight into the lava of Mt. Doom,” Espionage explained.
Kiryu emitted an evil laugh. “Now, did you really think I would stay on your side when my position was re-vacated?”
“No,” Espionage said flatly, and activated a detonator in his pocket. Kiryu was thrown back again as an internal explosion rocked his body. He screamed as more explosives activated and completely obliterated his body.
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
General Gryphus gasped. He had seen the whole fight from his hidden camera and couldn’t believe it.
“What the hell?” he hissed.
“Sir, a bomb has gone off in the cloning facilities,” a technician reported. “Nothing survived.”
“Sir, the vaults have been ransacked, and all the blueprints burned,” another informed the General.
“Sir, the Justice League villains have disappeared,” another said.
“Gryphus, I demand to know why the Flash vanished,” the Empress boomed, entering the room with a furious look in her eyes. Gryphus buried his head in his hands.
“****, we’re really ****ed now,” he moaned.

I'm happy with the update!
Though, not so happy that my beloved Kiryu is gone...
If the General weren't on the base type thing right now, I'm sure he'd kill you. Oh well, I'll write him a letter since the mean ol navy won't let him use a pc.
He'll kill you in spirit!

Gryphus was through bemoaning the Empire’s bad fate, and instead clenched his teeth.
“Every part of this is Espionage’s doing, there can be no mistake about that,” he stated. “Therefore, I want that son of a ***** at the top of our wanted list… above Raven.”
All of the subordinates present gasped. Most of them jumped in their chairs, three fainted, and one screamed and started to panic.
“Raven’s been at the top of the list for years!” the Empress exclaimed. “…Nevertheless, I can see that Espionage poses a threat that even my eternal hatred for Raven cannot ignore. Make the change.” Gryphus entered the database and moved Espionage’s name from #3 to #1 on the wanted list. Then he pondered the situation for a while.
“We really don’t have many options,” he admitted. “One, we take what few forces we have left and go for broke against the Titans, all their allies, and whatever heroes Espionage can manipulate against us.”
“Looks sort of bleak, but I could deal with it,” the Empress said, shrugging.
“Two, we blast ourselves into space, ignoring any bases we might have scattered around the globe and hoping the Titans don’t follow us.”
“Reasonable and previously accomplished.”
“Or three – and this is the one I despise the most – we actually try to come to some sort of agreement with the Teen Titans.”
“You know, unless we have a contract, they probably will track us down, or at least destroy any other assets of ours here on Earth. If we just left, we might never be able to rebuild ourselves if we came back.”
“And if we went all-out against them, we would have to deal with possibly all thirty-three Titans, Aang’s group, and presumably a whole crapload of Nintendo characters.”
The General and the Empress looked at each other.
“I hate my life so much right now,” Gryphus said calmly.
TTA:TLATTA:TLATTA:TLATTA:TLA
All the Titans and Gaang regrouped at Titans East Tower.
“Now that we’ve crippled the Empire, what should we do next?” Robin wondered.
“We’ve got to be getting back to our own universe so we can save it,” Aang reminded them.
“Before you do, I have something I want to show you,” said Espionage. “I just need to run to my house. I’ll be back in a scene change.”
Some time later….
Espionage returned with the box set of Season 3 Avatar DVD’s.
“I got the last episodes before they were released to the general public,” he bragged.
“What are they?” Sokka asked.
“Come in here and I’ll show you,” Espionage directed. He and the Gaang went back to the Tower. The rest of the Titans stood around for a few seconds.
“Hey, where’s that 20% you promised us?” Robin asked Red X suddenly.
A:TLAA:TLAA:TLAA:TLAA:TLA
The Gaang sat shocked after the DVD ended.
“So… the Black Sun invasion’s going to fail?” Sokka said, breaking the brief silence. “And Katara ends up with…”
“No,” Espionage interrupted. “Yes to the second, but the invasion will not fail. What I just showed you what happened in the alternate timeline where Oloshi does not exist, and I have not intervened. I just showed it to you to explain how I took your idea to escape from the Boiling Rock.”
“But without much more help, then we’ll still fail,” Sokka protested.
“No. That’s not true. You have more help than you think. We still have time before the invasion. You already have my help, and Oloshi’s help. Ty Lee, Mai, and Zuko are on our side already, and I have a plan to get us a couple more powerhouses. We will not fail. …I also showed you that for an excuse to make a speech.”
Meanwhile, outside the Tower, Robin spied the Empire’s leaders heading towards the Tower.
“Titans, prepare for battle,” he warned them quietly. However, General Gryphus was holding a white flag in his hand. He was also beating his fist to his forehead.
“We have come to the conclusion that we should come to an agreement,” the Empress said to Robin.
“Um, all right,” he said, stunned. “What kind of terms do you have to work with?”
“How about this. As long as we leave you alone, you don’t destroy any more of our assets.”
“Leaving us alone includes Earth.”
“What? Oh, fine. Countries we haven’t already conquered.”
“The government can still attack you, though.”
“Understood.”
“And Tamaran is to be included in the category of ‘us,’” Starfire piped up.
“Well, that goes without saying, doesn’t it? Very well, are our terms acceptable?”
“Yes, I believe so.” Cyborg printed a typed contract out of his hip. “Just sign here, and it’s a done deal.”
All the Titans and Empire leaders signed. Espionage, who had seen the incident, came down and put his John Hancock on the page as well. Robin and the Empress shook hands, and then the leaders left.
“General, you can stop trying to concuss yourself now,” the Empress muttered. “It’s over, and there’s nothing we can do about it.”

While the Empire’s leaders went back to the base, Vice began to snigger.
“Vice, what did you do?” the Empress asked.
“Didn’t you have something in your hand when we went towards the Tower?” Kim wondered.
“Oops, I guess I dropped it,” Vice said, grinning. “Oh well, I guess I’ll hand the net launcher controls to Slade.”
“You have a net launcher compressed into the size of a walnut?” Kim said incredulously. “Can I have one?”
They finally returned, where Slade was waiting for them.
“Empress, I regret to say that I am too restless for a quiet existence in space,” Slade admitted. “I’m resigning from service to the Empire.”
“Understandable,” the Empress sighed. “Have fun fighting the Titans, and good luck. You’ll need it.”
“You’ll also need this,” Vice whispered, slipping a control device into Slade’s hand. “I suggest catching Raven with it.”
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
Espionage and the Avatar gang were saying their goodbyes to the Titans.
“I’ll be back soon, I’m not going to stay,” Espionage informed them, hugging Raven and shaking hands with the rest.
“Even though we were dragged into this and hadn’t the faintest idea who these Empire people were, I still had a pretty good time,” Sokka remarked. “Now, though, I think we should be getting back. The world needs the Avatar back.”
Espionage zapped a portal into existence as the Titans and Titans East walked back into the Tower. The departing members walked through, last of all Espionage. Before he closed the portal, though, a slightly familiar ninja in black with shining eyes rushed in, unnoticed by Espionage.
A:TLAA:TLAA:TLAA:TLAA:TLA
The Gaang emerged practically the moment they had left, but in a completely different place. Instead of being at the lip of the Boiling Rock, they were somehow flying on Appa above a different Fire Nation prison, on an island. The ninja that followed them fell into the water below, and started swimming in their direction.
“This is it,” Espionage announced. “I got us to the right place.” Appa landed outside the prison, and Espionage began going over the plan again.
“All right, so Aang, Katara, Sokka, Toph, Suki, and Zuko will go back to Piandao’s and go their course. Meanwhile, Oloshi, Ty Lee, Mai, and I will go our own way, starting here.”
“Why can’t I stay with Mai again?” Zuko questioned.
“Because Aang still needs to learn Firebending, obviously. Now are we clear?” The group nodded.
“I haven’t the foggiest why I’m suddenly the leader of everything, but let’s get to it!”
The Gaang separated into their two groups, and the main group left. Espionage began an attempt to flatten his hair and put on goggles as to make him less recognizable. He then tested his pistol out, and smiled when a laser beam erupted from the end.
“So much for the old green globs,” he muttered to himself. “Laser beams are sure to garner more attention. And they’re cooler.” He then got behind the other three, disguised with his hair down his back instead of up in giant spikes and with goggles.
“All right, keep it moving,” he shouted. “Hey! Whoever is in charge of this place had better show himself!”
The Fire Nation prison was basically a tower. At the top of it, there was a balcony where the Warden or anyone else in charge could step out to look down upon prisoners coming in. This is where Princess Azula now stepped.
“Ah, Princess Azula,” the traveling Titan boomed. “Whatever brings you here?”
“The ransom note you sent earlier,” she called back. “I’ve been waiting for you to show up.”
“When did you have time to write and send a note?” Oloshi wondered aloud to Espionage.
“I came up with this plan a while ago, and I sent it before we left,” he explained softly.
“Well?” Azula said impatiently. “Are you just going to stand there or tell me what you want? You never mentioned it in your letter. All you said was that you orchestrated a breakout and captured these three.”
“I want King Bumi,” he yelled. “I can assume that’s reasonable for these three. Either that or they will no longer be worth anything.” He brandished his pistol.
“What are you going to do with that, club them?” Azula scoffed. “Let’s see what it can do.”
Espionage smirked and fired it into the air. A laser beam shone like a beacon, and Azula gasped.
“That’s what it can do. I would guess that you don’t want that to happen to your friends.”
“In due time, I will make the trade. But I have a few questions first. How did you escape from the Boiling Rock?”
“That, my dear Azula, is for me to know, and for the Fire Nation to never discover. It’s a good thing that coward Jet Li fled, otherwise I would have had more annoyances to deal with. As it was, the Avatar’s group and I had a fairly hard time subduing these subordinates.”
“Ah, yes, that reminds me. What happened to Zuko?”
“He escaped my custody by following Jet out the door. He’s probably chasing the Avatar again, although he’s likely to be the one captured.”
“Another question: That beam of light was impressive, but what can it do to someone?”
Espionage sighed and shot a guard standing next to Azula in the arm. He howled as the laser hit it, leaving a smoking wound.
“How do I know you’re not bluffing? You only hit him in the arm.”
“Let’s see. I think since these two have a certain place in your heart, I’ll start with the bounty hunter. Your friends should still be enough leverage to buy me King Bumi.” He switched his laser pistol to stun while pointing it at Oloshi’s head.
“A convincing bluff, but it won’t work,” Azula dismissed. “I don’t believe you’ll really have the guts to do it. Guards, ready.” They readied their arrows.
“Azula, you need me!” Oloshi screamed. “I captured the Avatar when you failed! You can’t afford to lose me!”
“I’m not bluffing, Azula, call them off!”
“Aim.”
“Azula, no!”
“That’s it!” Espionage fired. Oloshi crumpled. Azula stopped just as she was about to give the order to fire.
“Wait. All right, I believe you. Ty Lee and Mai for King Bumi, was it?” Espionage nodded. Azula waved her hand, and the guards went to fetch the mad genius. When the metal box he was in was brought out, Espionage waved his gun to gesture that Ty Lee and Mai should start walking. The guards dragged Bumi over to the Titan’s side, then handed him the key to the box. Espionage took it and freed the king just as Azula’s friends got out on the balcony.
“Well, hello there,” Bumi said. “I was waiting to strike the Fire Nation, you know. I guess I won’t get the perfect opportunity now.” He looked rather disheartened.
“It’s all right,” he was assured. “I’ve got a plan to strike them myself. NOW!”
Ty Lee immediately paralyzed Azula, who gasped and fell. Mai pinned the guards nearby to the wall with her endless supply of sleeve needles.
“Good plan,” Bumi remarked to Espionage.
“I… I don’t understand,” the Princess admitted from the floor. “Why?”
Espionage leaped with his lightning rocket boost up to the balcony, and encased Azula in a green bubble. Oloshi awakened, and he and Bumi summoned up a pillar of earth which carried them up.
“You’re supposed to be dead!” Azula exclaimed.
“Nope, I’m over a hundred years old and still kicking!” Bumi bragged.
“Not you,” Oloshi said.
“I also turned him into a newt,” Espionage joked, “but he got better then, too.”
Espionage turned to the guards left. “Send a message to Fire Lord Ozai. I want General Iroh in exchange for Princess Azula. Have him send someone here by noon tomorrow. I’ll be waiting here.” The guards not pinned to the wall turned and ran.

While the net launcher lay dormant on the Titans East’s doorstep, Raven was on the computer. Robin walked into the room to find her frozen, her eyes twitching alternately, a shocked expression on her face.
“Raven, what’s wrong?” he asked in alarm.
“I’ve stumbled upon something so horribly foul that even I’m going to have nightmares,” she stated, still in a shocked pose.
“What? What is it?”
“I found… fanfiction.” Robin raised an eyebrow quizzically.
“What’s that?” he asked.
“It’s where the fans of some fictional work, like a TV show, write a story with characters and/or settings from that work, but horribly mangle them to fit their own nefarious purposes, sometimes even adding their own original, despicable creations.”
“Oh, come on, that doesn’t seem that bad.” Robin read the first page of one and promptly collapsed, pulling himself up by the desk edge. “How can anyone possibly spawn such an abominable story?”
“I don’t know. If only Espionage were still in this universe, he could use his fourth-wall breaking knowledge to help us.”
“What’s the – oh, never mind. Hey, what’s this lampshade doing here?” Just then, Beast Boy walked in.
“Hey, what’s everyone looking at?” He went over and looked at the computer screen for a while. Then, his face lost all color and he fainted.
“I honestly don’t know what I saw in him during that whole second Brotherhood of Evil thing,” Raven sighed.

Sokka had learned the art of the sword from Master Piandao, and they were saying their goodbyes.
“I have here just a little something to remember me by,” Piandao said, fishing out a Pai Sho tile from his pockets. Sokka took it, remembering some knowledge of the universe he had gained from the DVDs Espionage showed them.
“A White Lotus tile,” he breathed. “The Order of the White Lotus.”
“How did you know about that?” Piandao demanded.
“My uncle is a member,” Zuko replied.
“Yes, the Grand Master,” Piandao recalled. “But that still doesn’t explain how the rest of you knew. The Order is supposed to be secret.”
“We know a few other members,” Aang explained. “Jeong Jeong, Master Pakku, and King Bumi.”
“I suppose Bumi might be senile enough to let it slip,” Piandao admitted. “Well, yes, I am part of it. It really is more of an old men’s society, but you are the epitome of transcending the boundaries between nations. Between you, you encompass them all – something almost impossible nowadays. I would count you members, but I believe that Iroh should have that honor.”
“That reminds me,” said Zuko. “You know my uncle. Do you know where he is right now?”
“Last I heard, he was still in Fire Nation prison,” Piandao said, shrugging. “You could travel there if you wanted to know. By my reckoning, no one knows you’ve betrayed the Fire Nation yet.”
“Gang, we have our next move,” Sokka said excitedly.
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
The Empire blasted off into space, their huge base erupting with rocket flame. As they soared off into the sky, Slade waved and fingered the net launcher Vice had given him.
Later, Slade was back in his base, watching Titans East Tower with a hidden camera Brother Blood had installed last time he was in town.
“Raven’s outside,” he said to himself. “Let’s see whether Vice’s advice was any good.” He pressed the button.
Outside Titans East Tower, Raven was going to see how far the workers had gotten on reconstructing the old Titans Tower. Then, out of nowhere, a net sprang up and caught her. She calmly tried to rip the net apart with her dark magic, but it got tighter as she attempted. She called out for help, but by the time anyone had burst out the door, Brother Blood was heading back to Slade’s base with their quarry.
Once there, Raven was strapped onto a specially designed platform (although it really wasn’t that special, since about a million other things have served the same purpose). Slade then exposed a patch of skin on her upper arm, and injected her with a needle. He laughed, watching as his screen showed a familiar sight.
“Nanobots,” he mused. “This almost makes me nostalgic. And now that I have secured the means of spreading them,” he said, capping the needle and locking it inside a box, “I don’t have to worry about any mistakes like last time.” He examined his wrist, looking upon the activator button. “Yes, this should be hard to beat.”
A:TLAA:TLAA:TLAA:TLAA:TLAA:TLA
Meanwhile, dusk was falling at the Fire Nation prison where the other gang was. Azula’s bubble had been moved and expanded so she had access to one of the cots the prison guards had brought for them.
“We’re going to have to keep watch to make sure we don’t get attacked,” Espionage commented. “We’ll go in shifts.”
“I can take first shift,” Oloshi volunteered. “The night’s young yet.”
“I can take the second shift, I guess,” Mai shrugged.
“I’ll go third,” Espionage and Ty Lee said at once.
“I’ll take the third shift so you can just basically get up early,” Ty Lee volunteered. “I have no trouble falling back asleep anyway.”
“Thank you, that’s very kind,” Espionage acknowledged. “Azula, are you up for a night of explanation in shifts?”
“I’ll be up all night anyway trying to figure out why I was betrayed so easily, so yes,” Azula hissed.
Later that night, three of the four heroes were asleep, and Oloshi was getting some information across to Azula.
“So, are you surprised Jet Li isn’t coming to see what happened to you?” Azula asked casually.
“No, because he’s right over there,” Oloshi replied, nodding in Espionage’s general direction.
“He’s Jet? What, is Zuko here too disguised as one of my guards?” she said sarcastically.
“No, he just joined the Avatar,” Oloshi said. “He’s teaching him Firebending while they travel to prepare for the invasion.”
“I see, during the upcoming eclipse,” Azula mused. “So, what made you go against me?”
“Your rule by fear never really worked on me,” Oloshi explained. “I always knew I wasn’t going to really be loyal to you, I just wanted to get close to the Avatar, have some information about Ozai’s inner circle, and maybe make some cash on the side.”
“So you don’t really fear me?” Azula inquired.
“No, I don’t,” Oloshi said simply. “You do realize I can bend all four elements, right?”
Azula shot straight up from her position lying down on her cot. “No, you failed to mention that detail.”
“Ah, I see. Well, it’s a long story, but I suppose I have time.” As he began, Azula lay back down. This night was bound to be interesting.
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
Slade chuckled to himself as he awaited the Titans’ arrival. Sure enough, they got there, prepared to rescue their fellow.
“Good evening, Titans,” Slade began. “I can see you’re being as predictable as ever. Well, I decided to get predictable too. You see the monitor behind me?” Robin gasped. It was showing Raven’s vital signs, and also pictured was an image of her bloodstream, in which nanobots were flowing.
“You went for the nanobots again?” he groaned.
“Indeed. You shall do what I command, or I will kill Raven with a simple press of a button. If you attempt to stop me while I do so, I will destroy the controls, making it impossible to stop the process. In other words, it’s foolproof.”
“Let him kill me, you guys stop him,” Raven said from her bounds. “I’m as good as dead anyway here, so just stop him here instead of following his orders.”
Randomly, a portal appeared directly behind Slade. Espionage stepped out of it and grabbed Slade’s wrist.
“Hello, Slade. I believe that’s my girlfriend you’re attempting to use as bait.” He then ripped the button out of its socket, which strangely did not ‘make the process impossible to stop.’ “You didn’t plan for this? You should know that it doesn’t automatically switch on the ‘bots, just freezes them in the state they were in when the button stopped working.”
“That was quick,” Robin commented. “Did you stop the entire Fire Nation already?”
“Sort of. I just came back here when my stay there was done, choosing to come back fairly recently after I’d left. This way, I can be two places at once.”
“That was all completely pointless,” Slade raged. “I went to all the trouble to create new nanobots and capture Raven, plus making the plan nearly foolproof, and yet you come along and ruin my progress! Well, I have one thing to say to you, sir.” He then froze for a second, then made an unexpected motion towards his computer. He pounded his fist on a big red button, which caused a trapdoor to open beneath Raven’s platform. She was lowered down into it extremely quickly, then Slade laughed, closing the trapdoor and fleeing before anyone could even regain the power of speech.
“I’m thinking that didn’t help much,” Beast Boy remarked.

TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
“We’ve been sitting here, like, forever!” Beast Boy complained. “Who has a plan?”
“A plan will come to me,” Espionage assured him. “Or a solution will present itself.” A random girl started walking up to them. “I was hoping for a different solution than this.”
“Why?” Robin asked.
“Robin, that girl is sparkling like a swimming pool full of mirrors on the SUN. That indicates powers beyond anything we can comprehend, or else something hotter than a swimming pool full of mirrors on the sun. Or both.”
“Hi, guys!” the random girl said brightly.
“It’s obvious she’s…”
“I’m Mary Sue!”
“A swimming pool full of mirrors on the sun would have been better. If we were all on the sun to see it that would be better.”
“I’m a half-Tamaranian, half-cat, half-demon hybrid with 3/10ths of each of the five Teen Titans’ abilities. And, as you can see, I have a third eye on the back of my head that can see in every direction.”
“Robin, this girl is supposedly so great that she’s supposedly ONE AND A HALF PEOPLE!” Espionage pointed out. “And what have you done with Mad-Eye Moody?”
“I dug up his eye from the gnarled tree when I was visiting Hogwarts, after my double date with Scorpius Malfoy and Sirius Black.”
“There are so many inconsistencies there I don’t want to get into it.”
“Oh, by the way, now that I’ve met you all in person, I absorbed your full power while leaving you intact. Where’s Raven?”
“She’s been captured by Slade, and I was coming up with a plan to save her.”
“Then I’ll have to save her!”
“Yes, please come with us,” Robin said in a monotone. “We would love you to join the Teen Titans on this mission.”
“Oh, great,” Espionage said with frustration. “A functional Parody Sue.”
A:TLAA:TLAA:TLAA:TLAA:TLA
Azula was still awake when Mai took over for Oloshi.
“So, what made you betray me?” Azula asked with contempt.
“I love Zuko more than I fear you,” Mai said with a shrug.
“Does no one fear me anymore?” Azula wondered out loud. “You’d think it would be easier to find good intimidated people, but no.”
“I’ll let you get back to your ranting now,” Mai said in a bored manner.
Much later, Mai woke up Ty Lee and fell asleep. Azula was waiting patiently for her.
“So we come to suspect number three. What was your motivation?”
“I was outnumbered in the decision, and you weren’t around to bully me into submission.”
“Well, I’m here now. Will you do what I say or keep listening to that nefarious Jet Li?”
“I’m on the Avatar’s side now. It’s because I like….” She stumbled at this point. “Doing what I want without fear of you,” she finished lamely.
“Yes, I see,” said Azula, unconvinced.
Then came the final shift, where Espionage came into play. He had brought his DVD player from the other dimension, wanting to fix something.
“Azula, let’s get this over with, I never did follow you, as I’m sure you knew. Now, I would like you to watch this… um, well, it’s sort of a look at what might happen to you in the future.” He slid the DVD player to where she could see and started up the finale of Avatar. Her eyebrows rose steadily. When it was finally over, he turned to her.
“Please understand, you are indeed my enemy. I just have admired your cunning and brilliance, and don’t want to see it torn to shreds again. Not in person.”
“I’ll give it some thought. It’s a bit much to take in as it is.” Espionage nodded and leaned back in the chair he was in.
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
In another universe, Espionage fumed at Mary Sue as the Titans walked towards Slade’s new underground hideout.
“You’re here for one mission and that’s it, understand? I’ve been known to be a Mary Sue myself, so you had better watch it.” He punctuated this with appropriate gestures.
“Oh, believe me, I’m only here for this,” she said slyly. She leaned down to him. “Or not. You know as well as I do that I’ll just use my powers to enslave your friends. Face it, you’re finished.”
“Not if anything to say about it I have,” Espionage said in a raspy voice.
“What?”
“Sorry, I’ve got something in my throat.” He coughed. “That’s better. Not if I can help it.”
Meanwhile, Slade was laughing to himself. Raven was restrained against the wall by metal clamps, and her cloak was hanging on the opposite wall.
“Believe me, I hate doing this to you,” Slade said through his cackles.
“No you don’t. You’re enjoying every second of it.”
“Yes, because I get my thrills by kidnapping teenaged super-powered girls, tying them up against my wall, and removing unnecessary articles of their clothing.”
“I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic or not.”
“The really good part is, you’ll never know if I was. Say hello to nightmares.” Just then, the Titans burst in. “Oh, bothersome interruptions.” Slade pressed a button on the wall, and laser cannons popped out of the walls in every direction. Mary Sue looked at them. They exploded instantly. Slade threw up his hands.
“I surrender!” he shouted. “I’ll never attack this city again, just don’t hurt me!”
Mary Sue smirked. “That’s what I thought. Now release Raven.” He did so, and Raven flew to Espionage’s side.
“Let’s get out of here,” Mary suggested. She then thrust her fist upwards. A giant gaping hole appeared in the ceiling to reveal the surface up above. They all flew back up, leaving Slade to wallow in self-pity.
Later, Mary Sue had followed the Titans back to their newly-repaired Titans Tower.
“So, can I join your group?” she asked.
“No,” Espionage said flatly. “But it’s not up to me, is it? Ask Robin, then.”
Mary sue looked over at Robin, Beast Boy, and Cyborg. “You all, love me.”
“Yes, ma’am,” Beast Boy said flatly.
“We love you,” said Cyborg robotically.
“Will you go out with us?” Robin asked with no trace of emotion.
“No,” Mary Sue said, enjoying it. “Now, you girls, love me. But only want to date me if I want you to.” They complied.
“Now, Espionage, you are my slave,” she said, waving her hand.
“No, I won’t,” he said defiantly.
“Slavery will be fine,” she said with confusion, waving her hand again.
“No, it won’t,” he said again. “Look, you didn’t know me before you came here, right?”
“Right….”
“So your author must not have either. The only characters your author can bend to her (supposedly her) will is characters she has heard of, so you can’t use your evil powers on anyone who entered the scene after the events of the Teen Titans series. Therefore –” He stopped suddenly, then started to grin. “Therefore, I know how to beat you.” He blasted a shield up between the pair of them, then raced off to safety, maniacally laughing. While he sped off, he fumbled to get a cell phone out of his pocket. “Let’s hope they’ve got good reception up in space.”
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
The Empire floated in space in search of a new world to conquer, hopefully with big stupid natives that would follow them blindly.
“It’s a pity we couldn’t stay on Earth longer,” the Empress mused to General Gryphus in the throne room. “I had just finished this theme tune for us.” She hit a button on a remote control, and speakers located conveniently in the room started playing a familiar theme song.
When there’s trouble, you know who’s to blame… The Empire!
They treat war like it’s some kind of game… Cause they’re the Empire!
When there’s evil on the attack
Rest assured that just means that they’re back
Just hope it’s not Empress or General… It’s Gryphus?
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
The world’s superpowers have no might… Against the Empire!
They’ll take away your freedom and your rights… Yeah, the Empire!
They’ve got the whole world on the run
Take over nations just for fun
Complete and total conquest is their goal…They’re the Empire!
Go!!!!!
Four three two one BOOM! The Empire!
Gryphus raised one eyebrow. “That was funny and all, but it’s too bad we won’t get to use it.”
“That’s what I’m saying,” the Empress confirmed. Then the phone rang. She turned to Gryphus, who shrugged. She picked up the phone. “Er… hello? All right.” She turned the speaker phone on.
“Gryphus, it’s me, Espionage,” he said. Gryphus’ jaw nearly hit the floor. “Yes, I know it’s surprising, but this is a situation I need your help on. Look, I am willing to help you rebuild your armies if you help me with this.”
“And this is…?”
“Mary Sue.” Both Gryphus and the Empress growled. “She’s enslaved all the Titans and I’ve barely escaped. Her mind-control powers don’t work on other characters who came in after Season Five. You have to come back to help me.”
“All right, so it’s tempting. What could you do to help us rebuild?”
“I will go back in time, duplicate one of your blueprints for a cloning vat, then bring it back to you.”
“And you’re fine with this?”
“Look, this is the epitome of Mary Sues here. I’m familiar with this territory, but I’m in over my head. If you don’t help me, I’ll be forced to tweak the plot so that you do. I’m not without a touch of Mary Sue magic myself.”
Gryphus looked at the Empress, who nodded. “We’ll do it. We’ll meet you somewhere on Earth. Look for the giant base coming down into the atmosphere.” He turned off the phone.
“Remember when this universe made a shred of sense?” he asked the Empress as she turned the base around.
“No.”
“Neither do I.”

I leave you alone for a bit, and look what you've done... FYI, I've killed you in spirit 8492 times...
You "kill/knock-out" my dear Wyvee-tan... you destroy my tanks... you have my air armada lose to a flea-infested Starfox, and you want me to join you in battle against some Mary Sue? Are you ******* nutts? ... Well, I don't need the help of some "Espionage and gang" to kill some Mary Sue... I could easily send out ADF-01M, who, like her sister, has chosen a new name... "Falken-tan"... or use Dimension Tide... or the SOLG... et cetera, et cetera, et cetera...
Well, oh well... oh, by the way, I'm no longer "General Gryphus". You may now refer to me as "Fleet Admiral Gryphus"... I think I'll just sit back and watch you attempt to redeem yourself...

Well, Fleet Admiral, I'm impressed that you can keep track of how many times you've killed me in spirit. 8492? I must be on the top of your list. By the way, about the SOLG.... did you see the part where Star Fox actually blew it up? I'd like to raise the bidding to 8493....
Also, let me give you this little snippet. It isn't in any particular time of the story, just thought you, Fleet Admiral, might enjoy it.
Espionage and Gryphus were talking.
"So, I noticed I'm now #1 on your kill list," Espionage remarked.
"Yes, even Raven can't surpass your sheer ability to **** with us," Gryphus said angrily.
"By the way, who's #3?" asked Espionage curiously.
"Oh, just some son of a ***** called Charles," Gryphus said casually.
"I thought he was already dead."
"Once is not enough."

I'm either choosing to ignore the fact that you destroyed the SOLG, or you can assume I built another. Take your pick. Either way, its sitting up there ready to blast you. And no, its staying at 8492. That number of kills was also counting the number of times I killed you because of your rash assumptions. Oh, and my sister mailed me your little updates, so I was never "In the dark" about your actions. I've had time to thoroughly think out your imminent destruction.

Well, it's been 3 whole weeks since Charles has last updated, so, one of the following has happenned:
1) He's actually taking his time writing and not rushing
2) He is trying REALLY hard not to piss me off again, so he's rewritten the chapter like 10 times
3) He is just lazy
Either way, I demand recompence. There is no way he can just leave the ESUN in shambles. If he dare does, Falken-tan would be glad to "visit" him, and trust me, she is much more brutal than Kiryu...

-Gotengo using its Slipspace generators
-Dialga/Palkia

Um, yeah, here's a little bit of something. I hope you enjoy my latest insanity parody, plus some actual story. I don't really expect to be able to write much anytime soon, but.... I will try and finish this story eventually.
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
Espionage had barricaded himself in his house, waiting for the base to drop or Mary Sue to arrive. Interestingly enough, both happened at the exact same time. As soon as the Empire’s base had landed and he had torn down his planks and boards, Mary Sue appeared on the horizon. The Empire’s leaders jumped out immediately: The Empress, Vice, Kim, and Paranoid Guy leaped next to him in a rather awesome formation. Then Espionage realized something.
“Where’s Gryphus?”
“Oh, he’s still getting his weapons ready,” the Empress explained. “He should be out soon.”
Mary Sue giggled in a high-pitched, deafening manner as she walked up to them.
“This is what I have to contend with?” she laughed. “You’re a joke.”
“Oh, you’d be surprised, Mary,” Espionage said casually. “I never underestimate the Empire. They are quite formidable.”
“But not predictable, I imagine,” Mary Sue said with a grin. “You fool. You utter fool.”
Espionage grunted unexpectedly and involuntarily. He glanced down at the dart now embedded in his leg, and looking at the general smiling devilishly at him from the doorway of the base, collapsed like a felled tree. The last thing he heard before he slipped under was Gryphus.
“You did well, Mary Sue. Very well indeed.”
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
(parody of the Walrus and the Carpenter)
The sun was shining on the base,
Shining with all its might.
And techies did their best to focus
Beams of pure sunlight
Into a lethal ray which would be
Torturously bright.
The night shift workers frowned at them
Those whose time slots were done.
They wanted to get their own pay
For working well past one.
Because Empress paid by the hour
Although it wasn’t fun.
Gryphus was glad as he could be
Empress was overjoyed
The plan, you see, had worked quite well.
The agent they’d deployed
Had captured all the Titans;
They were soon to be destroyed.
The Empress and the General
Were sitting side by side.
Then Gryphus said, “I’ll miss the chap
Long after he has died.
For Espionage was quite a foe.”
At this, he falsely cried.
“However,” he considered,
Smiling like the Cheshire Cat,
“We’ll be forever rid of him,
And I am fine with that.”
The Empress nodded silently
And swatted at a gnat.
“World leaders, come and join with us!”
The Empress did cajole.
“Dictatorship can be quite hip
Especially my role.
In fact, when you’re just starting out,
You’ll find it rather droll.”
Russia looked up at all their might,
But never did they quake.
They looked on rather stoically.
Their heads did they all shake.
The General said, “Send out Phil
And then they all will bake.”
Spain, Greece, and Sweden hurried up
All eager for treaties.
“Our kings will sign,” they said with pride,
“And hand you all the keys.”
And this was odd, for, as you know,
They were democracies.
Four other countries followed them,
And yet another four.
And thick and fast they came at last
There were at least a score.
Especially those countries who
Were dangerously poor.
The Empress and the General
Signed treaties for a while.
And then they led the leaders out
In tidy single file.
They sent them to the meeting room
And then revealed their guile.
“The time has come,” the Empress said,
“To talk of many things.
Of France, Japan, and Canada
And making me their king.
And how to kill our foes, with painful
Drawn-out torturing.”
“But wait a bit,” the leaders cried,
“You cannot mean that, no.
To conquer all the world by force,
Please say it isn’t so!”
The Empress laughed, and then they knew
They’d signed up for their foe.
“An atom bomb,” the Empress said,
“Is chiefly what we need.
Weapons and manpower besides
Are very good indeed.
Now, if you’re ready, leaders dear,
We’ll make them go to seed.”
“We’ll not do that!” the leaders cried,
Turning pale as a sheet.
“We didn’t know that we had signed
For that.” Red as a beet,
The General said, “Well then,
You’ll be good for naught but meat.”
“Enjoy these last few moments, as
They’ll surely be your last.
You see, I’ve ordered Phil, my pet,
To have himself a fast.
By now, he will be hungry
And you’ll make a nice repast.”
“It seems a shame,” the Empress said,
“To play them such a trick.
After we’ve forced them into this
To kill them quite this quick.”
The General said nothing but,
“All right, Phil, take your pick.”
“I weep for you,” the Empress cried.
“I deeply sympathize.”
She brushed the carnage off herself
And left it for the flies.
The General said only,
“We have conquest, I surmise.”
“World leaders,” said the General.
“I slowly draw my gun.
Is there a soul that’s left alive?”
But answer there came none.
And this was scarcely odd, as Phil
Had eaten everyone.
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
Espionage awoke in a strange place. It was mostly purple. He had a fleeting thought; I like purple. He tried to move. There were chains binding him to some structure he couldn’t see. He then sighed.
“Mary Sue, you’re hiding somewhere, aren’t you?” She popped out from behind a green rock.
“Care to explain?” he asked.
“You don’t recognize your own mind?” Mary Sue laughed.
Espionage paused for a minute to examine the sheer ridiculousness of what was happening. He was trapped by an insane world-domination group inside his own mind by a Mary Sue, while trying to save his girlfriend, who had been fictional until recently. It was definitely time to get some therapy.
“So, you’re here to guard me?”
“Yes, and others of me are watching the others.”
“Oh, you have got to be kidding.”
Mary Sue sat down on a convenient flat rock. She wasn’t going anywhere for a while.
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Gryphus and the Empress walked into the torture room elated and ready. Gryphus happily took the controls, while Empress simply sat in her throne, leering down at her victim. It was, predictably, Raven. She was hooked up to some complicated-looking machine through electrodes and a series of tubes. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_cZC67wXUTs) Gryphus chuckled in a chilling manner, then began his usual pre-torture spiel. This was what he liked best about the process – a nice Hannibal Lecture to crush the spirit before slowly working through the body.
“You must have noticed that there is no Espionage rushing in to save you,” he began. “Don’t count on him coming anytime soon. He’s been captured, too. He was a fool to believe we would actually help him. Eventually, we will kill him, but Mary Sue assures us that he won’t get past her. First, we want him to realize that he has ultimately failed. We will “accidentally” let him go at the last second, he will come here, and arrive just in time to see your final moment. He will see you die, and then we will kill him. His mind will snap, and then so will his spine. Now, as for you, we don’t plan to kill you off quickly. No, this machine was specially designed to kill you as painfully and slowly as possible. You will remain conscious, but you’ll wish you weren’t. In fact, you’ll wish you were flat-out dead. Your screams will probably shatter at least one window. We, however, will enjoy every moment.”
Behind the cloth covering Raven’s mouth, Gryphus heard a sob. And he smiled.

Interesting... Odd too... You seem to have redeemed yourself... Although I still demand Mary Sue's death...

You fool! Don't you realize no matter what you do Mary Sue will always come back! lol Though I can assure you The Empire will never quit trying...
This is excellent, per usual Charlie. My favorite part:
Spain, Greece, and Sweden hurried up
All eager for treaties.
“Our kings will sign,” they said with pride,
“And hand you all the keys.”
And this was odd, for, as you know,
They were democracies.
I say again, when college gets to sucking (which is, oddly enough, all the time)...these stories make me smile. :)

Oh, trust me... I will find a way to be permanantly rid of that *****... Even if it takes me more than 5 minutes... speaking of which, I think I already have an idea... I need some of the radiation infused in the "Power Surge" crystals...

Charles has appeared to have left us in a bit of a cliffhanger... We're beginning the whole Mary Sue arc and Espionage has been captured, yet he disappears... And I'm surprised... Charles seems quite fond of moving around Hresvelgr, WHICH CANT MOVE... and yet he leaves out Gotengo, Atoragon (The ship, not me), Illustria, Angel-tai, etc. etc. etc. ... I needa have GA-001 "Lucky Star" come barreling out of the heavens, with angel wings ablaze, and here Milfeulle declare "Hyper Cannon, hassha!" ("Hyper Cannon, fire!" to you Japanese inept people) and vaporize Mary Sue in the pink light of death...

*glances at recent posts* Wow. Has it really been three months since I last posted a chapter? OK, it's time to wrap this baby up.
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
Espionage suddenly burst out in maniacal laughter.
“I can’t take it anymore!” he shouted. “Months of torturous waiting to figure out what I do next! I don’t even remember whether I’m free of my mind or still chained to a rock!”
Mary Sue carefully backed away.
“Ah, I’m confronted by Mary Sue still, eh? Well, that must mean I’m back in my own mind, then. Am I evil, or was that just a random idea that got dropped?”
“Um, what are you….”
“You know, you’re probably about to die. I bet Gryphus kills you himself. Hehehehehehe! Yes, that sounds like him all right. I think I’ll just beat my head against this rock for a while, singing ‘I’m Henery the Eighth, I Am’ repeatedly until I black out.” He then proceeded to make good on his proposal. Mary Sue pointed a finger at him and shouted over his singing.
“You’re crazy, man, just crazy! By the way, you’re wrong about the General killing me. I gotta get the hell out of here!” She fled. As soon as she was gone, Espionage stopped.
“Ha, I knew some fourth-wall-appropriate insanity would work. Now to save Raven.” He shot lightning out from one hand to break the chain holding the other down, then freed the rest of himself. He then vanished from his mind in a puff of smoke.
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Mary Sue flew through the halls to warn Gryphus of Espionage’s apparent insanity. When she got there, Raven was shrieking in pain and the Empress was taking video. The General looked up.
“I’m kind of in the middle of something right now,” he said calmly. “Why don’t you go to weapons storage, I have something there for you.” Once she had left, he chuckled in satisfaction and spoke into a communicator. “Technician 567-3, Mary Sue is headed to storage. Prepare Dimension Tide.”
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
Espionage hurtled through the halls, knocking soldiers unconscious along the way. Finally, he reached a table where Phil was guarding the weapons: the portal pistol, the universe inclusion cannon, and the laser pistol. The dragon looked rather full. As he coughed, a small crown rolled out of his mouth and came to a stop at Espionage’s feet.
“That’s right, boy,” Espionage said calmly, backing around Phil. “It’s just me. You remember me.” Phil tried to snap at him, but decided against it. As Espionage picked up his weapons, the dragon sighed, tired.
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
In weapons storage, guards waited for Mary Sue. Dimension Tide was being manned by one, while the rest held machine guns. Eventually, Sue entered the vault.
“All right, you people get in front of me for protection,” she ordered, completely missing the point. The techie manning Dimension Tide snapped his fingers, and everyone opened fire. Mary Sue used some vague Sue-ish power to block most of the bullets, but one got through. She clutched her arm as she tried to kill her assailants. Technician 567-3 then fired Dimension Tide. A minute later, the black hole had burned out, and the vault was nearly deserted. All that was left of the soldiers were scorch marks where the guns imploded. Mary Sue’s spot was marked with a small pink smudge, and Technician 567-3 was already contacting General Gryphus.
TTETTETTETTETTETTETTETTE
Espionage continued to run through the base, searching for the source of the screams. He stopped in his tracks as a dozen armed soldiers blocked the door. Espionage smirked and spat in a convenient spittoon. It exploded. Needless to say, the guards didn’t seem very confident about their chances. Espionage strode through the door.
Gryphus looked up from his place at the controls. The man he hated so much was standing within range of his pistol. He decided to torment Espionage a bit.
“If you want to save Raven,” he shouted over the piercing shrieks of his prisoner, “you have about ten seconds before she dies.”
“You won’t get away with this,” Espionage yelled in fury. “This time, I will bring you down, and –”
“Shut the hell up,” Gryphus sighed, whipped out his pistol, and shot Espionage in the stomach. The Titan gasped. He covered his bleeding wound with his forearm, pulled out his universe inclusion gun, and fired it. There was a red flash, and Raven was gone. The Empress nearly ruptured an artery with her rage. She shot Espionage too, and he dropped to his knees. He lifted his portal pistol, aimed it straight down, and fired. Before another shot could be fired, the portal had closed.
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
Espionage dropped right into Jump City’s major hospital. The doctors about jumped out of their skins when he crashed onto an open gurney. Two of them glanced at each other, then rushed him off.
Meanwhile, the other Titans were awakening in a now-empty field. Raven was recovering from the torture, while the rest seemed to be fine. It seemed that Empress just wanted them held until she could attend to their deaths personally.
“Dudes, what happened?” Beast Boy asked.
“I think Espionage just saved us again,” Robin mused.
“Dang it, does he have to do everything around here?” complained Cyborg.
Raven sat up, clutching her head. “Well, at least we’re not dead. Come on, let’s go find him.”
A:TLAA:TLAA:TLAA:TLAA:TLA
Past Espionage awoke. Fire Lord Ozai himself was approaching with a swarm of Firebenders.
“Ah, and just as I was beginning to think this subplot would never get resolved,” he grinned, preparing his laser pistol. As the others got up, he got Ozai in his sights. Just when everyone was getting ready for a major battle, Espionage fired. Ozai crumpled, dead after being shot in the head.
“Well, best of luck with everything, hope to see you again, got to rescue my friends,” he said quickly, shaking everyone’s hand. He then created a portal and disappeared.
“Did… did he just leave us to resolve everything?” Oloshi murmured groggily.
“Well, at least this kind of got finished,” Mai pointed out.
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
The Titans, finished with the Empire at last, simply relaxed in their living room. Beast Boy and Cyborg were in pitched combat in some video game while Terra cheered BB on, and Robin and Starfire were talking on the couch. The only one not participating was Raven, who sat near the door, waiting. The door opened, and Espionage stepped in the door with his arms thrown wide. Launching herself into them, Raven smiled with the rest, then led him into the room. The black-coated Titan flopped onto a couch and sighed with relief.
“We are finally done with the Empire,” he said happily, turning his attention to the video game going on. “Although I think I might have some more in store for them.”
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
General Gryphus gnashed his teeth in fury. His eyes darted around the computer screen like frantic dragonflies, but Espionage and the rest of the Titans had dropped off the face of the Earth.
“General, just give it up,” the Empress advised, laying a hand on his shoulder. “They’ve vanished. It actually accomplishes our Titan-related agenda. Now we can concentrate on conquering the collective universe.”
“I am no longer General Gryphus,” he replied. “Now that the world’s leaders have fallen prey to the mighty Phil, we do not need conquest on land. Now we battle those still at sea, or sail through space. I am now Fleet Admiral Gryphus.”
“Well, Admiral, I suggest you give up your search. Besides, Espionage really ended up helping us. Look what he left behind!” She held up a blueprint, presumably to a cloning vat.
“I know he helped us. That’s the problem. That is the ******* PROBLEM!” The Admiral gave out a bark of manic laughter. “I can’t live with the fact that that son of a ***** actually HELPED us!”
Before Gryphus could launch into another rant, something unexpected happened. A swarm of Psyducks and Abras suddenly appeared in the room. One held a note addressed to the Empress. She took it. It read:
Empress,
You didn’t think I was finished with you, did you? No, I have some interesting things in store for all of you. Now, though, I think it’s time I covered my tracks. You won’t be hearing from me again… personally. Goodbye.
With hatred,
Espionage
The Empress and the Admiral looked at each other in confusion. Then the Pokémon got to work, seizing everyone and everything that had been introduced to the Empire since Espionage’s meddling. Then, the Psyducks used Amnesia, and the Abras Teleport. All that was left in the room was the two leaders, clutching their heads, and some equipment. The note had vanished as well. All traces of this fanfic were gone.
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
Espionage looked at a checklist, scratching things out and adding in new things. The list included things like Kiryu – built again? and World Conquest -> Justice League -> Alternate Teen Titans -> Danny Phantom.
“Yes, this plan should do nicely,” Espionage said to no one in particular. “Now that I have a network of cameras around the Empire’s world, I can start sending them little challenges. Gryphus, this plan should keep us both occupied for quite some time.”
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
The back-to-General Gryphus sat in an interview. He wore a smart suit. Literally. The suit was a computer by itself, feeding the General necessary information through a microscopic earpiece. The cuffs each contained a tiny homing missile – a precaution against assassination attempts.
“General, you have become infamous throughout the modern world, and you have succeeded in conquering most of it with your superior, the Empress,” the interviewer said. “How does it make you feel?”
“Honestly,” Gryphus repeated after the voice in his ear, “I feel great. This could bring a new era of peace to the world.”
“Are you concerned about tyranny?”
“Concerned? No, I think tyranny will keep going quite well on its own.”
“Some people think that the Empire’s reign will be a short one. Do you fear that your legacy will be undocumented?”
“First of all, the Empress will stay on the throne for quite some time, I will ensure that. Secondly, our legacy will not be forgotten. As we speak, a prisoner is documenting our time as rulers of Earth. We shall live on… in the chronicles of the Empire.”
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
Raven came down to the Titans’ basement in the late evening. Espionage had been down there for a full day.
“Hey,” she said quietly, laying a hand on his shoulder.
“Hey,” he replied, turning around to embrace her.
“Are you ever coming back up?” she chided. “I was starting to think you were about to request your meals taken down here.”
“Yes, I’m just about done here for now,” Espionage conceded. “Now that my project is set up, I can initiate phases of it as I wish. I will be down here a bit more often than you might like, but for the most part, I just want to be with you.”
As they went up the stairs, Raven continued to talk. “You know,” she said with a sly smile, “you never did follow through on your promise to Happy and Love.”
“Wait, that’s still an issue?” he said, confused. “I thought it was just something that would never be mentioned again. Like what was going on with Robin and Starfire. I mean, people will have to pore through the archives to find those references.”
“No, this one isn’t,” she confirmed as they came up to the lobby, then started heading towards her room. The pair of them reached the door to Raven’s room. Robin passed by.
“Are you going to….” Robin began.
“Yes,” Espionage interrupted. “But we’re still ready if there’s an attack. If there’s trouble, you know who to call.”
Well, that's that. Hope you enjoyed it!
