Code Lyoko episode 89: Music Soothes the Savage Beast (CN Video Talkback)

Aelita opens for the Subdigitals.While Aelita struggles with stage fright, Odd's looking for an extra ticket for his latest hot date.

Thoughts will be forthcoming when I finish viewing the episode and have them.

Loved the episode. Loved Aelita's outfit. Loved the Subdigitals music. I liked how Ulrich mentioned that they were once called Subsonics.

Jeremy getting distracted and not showing up to the concert doesn't surprise me. He's always one-track minded when it comes to programs that might slow down Xana. Of course he also makes mistakes with most of them.

I thought the Ulrich/ Sissi deal was hillarious, but friends can't be bought. Odd should have learned that a long time ago.

Maybe I'm the only on, but I keep wanting to call the Subdigitals the Subliminals.

William got outsmarted by Yumi, and even that was without her vehicle. I can only imagine how much faster things would have occurred had the vehicles been able to be used all the time.

Aelita did a great job deactiviating the tower shortly before Jeremy got strangeled and Ulrich electricuted. It's a shame everyone at the concert doesn't get to enjoy the light show anymore now though.

It was enjoyable. If nothing else it was a fun episode. I don't think it advanced the storyline much, but it was amusing. Especially when Odd got dissed by two girls (Sissy because he double crossed her and Kelly because Odd made a deal with Sissy). Some days you just can't win. I was a bit surprised that Jeremy wasn't more supportive of Aelita the first time through. Then again maybe he's just really focused on finding something they can use to total Xana.
