I can't believe there's no talkback for this show. Come on... when utter dog vomit like "Out of Jimmy's Head" gets a talkback and this doesn't, it's a crime.

'Flibber Flabber Diet' was the best Chowder short yet.
I'm not a big fan of Spumco, but the regular use of exaggerated and at times ugly ("ffffaaaaaat?") animation had me in literal stitches. Of course, the well-written script was just as important for the hilarity.

I liked both of these episodes; they weren’t the best, but I genuinely enjoyed watching them.
Also, according to the creator, there will be 20 episodes this season. This was the seventh; the eighth airs next week and then there’s going to be a mid-season break.

The nightmare scene of Thrice Cream was freaky

The repeat was supposed to be on at 8:30.
But it's not on! :crying:
Not the right episode...this isnt suppose to be april fools.
Yet, somehow they managed to shove two unneeded classic christmas specials in our face

You know Spumco had nothing what-so-ever to do with this show right? It was made by a storyboard artist from Spongebob and Billy & Mandy.
(I'll post what I thought of the episode when I see it later)

Actually, it was supposed to be at 9, that's what the ads said.

I'm quite aware, yes.
I was merely referring to some of Spumco's classic stylistic queues, such as ugly close ups, hyper-exaggerated facial expressions, and occasional off-model shots of the characters for humor.
To be more specific, I mean that while I am no fan of Spumco, I feel all those things are good in moderation and good when done well. They are done well here.

It was all pretty funny, Chowder is great. He's like the tiny speck of light in a sea of darkness.
This show's an instant classic. I loved this episode. Usually kid shows like this don't make me laugh that much, but Chowder is the definite exception to this for me.

The Thrice-Cream Man but alright, but The Flibber-Flabber Diet was much better in my opinion, especially the trick that gets played on Truffle in the end, which really had me laughing.

"Flibber-Flabber" was definitely the better of the two, especially the repeated callbacks to the extended "spitting on Mung Daal" gag. It kept popping up when we least expected it, and THAT is the essence of comedy.

"The Thrice Cream Man" (3.5 out of 5): So, how do you wean someone of their favorite food? Feed it to them 'til they get sick of it! Chowder chowing down on the Thrice Cream nearly brought an end to the whole business. After this, the whole gang might be skipping out on the 31 flavors...
"The Flibber-Flabber Diet" (3.5 out of 5): Truffles shows how 'junk in the trunk' can be so wrong. Once again, Truffles competitive side comes out, this to match up with Chowder's compulsive eating side (even if he's gobbling the gross-tasting flibber-flabber by the barrel-full.) Didn't see the ending coming at all.
Quote of the Episode:
"I'll be hanging out with my friends... Peanut and Butter."

Oookay, sorry :o . Just the way you phrased it sounded different. And yeah you're right about that... This show's style allows for a lot of creative expressions without going overboard. Spongebob does that too.
And now that I've seen this episode, I really liked it! The show's really funny as usual. I think I liked "Flibber Flabber" more than "Thrice Cream," but the Thrice Cream man's voice was really funny.
