Don't worry, swim. You'll find another uber-popular show to play to death. You still have Family Guy.

Eck. Those are pretty bad ratings...

Come on ASA. Don't fail us now.

I wouldn't worry about it. Thanksgiving weekend never gets good ratings. I know I wasn't watching TV last Saturday.

I had to play catch-up 'cause I missed the episodes during thanksgiving weekend.

Futurama way lower than usual, other than that, not bad.

Death Note's low ratings continues to prove that people want their anime to have big weapons and nonstop action. Shame really. I think people were turned off to any and all talky anime by some of the really bad ones that AS has acquired in the past, so when the slightest hint of a dialog-heavy show rears its head, viewers flee.

I think AS mighta lied about Futurama on the count it's leavin next month, but msotl iekly it was the Pats Game that did it in..

Wait, what? Comedy Central is getting the airing rights in 2008. I don't see how AS "lied" about it.

Nice to see that AS is keeping the next-episode previews for E7 this time around, although they did cut out the eyecatchers.

It's also annoying how AS starts the shows in the later hours a good four minutes late...

Not about the rights, the ratings..

Was tonight the first time they aired that Shin-Chan promo?

Here's something I just thought about...

Rukia is small, and I don't mean breast size. She's wearing a Ichigo's little sister's clothes and can sleep in a closet.

I know, it's random, but I haven't really given much thought about it.

Japanese girls for the most part only averaged around 5'3 for the past few centuries. It's only the recent introduction of the Western diet that has given rise to taller, shaplier women. Rukia looks about average for someone who I gather is from 100-200 years ago would probably be in scale.

Odd seeing the beginning of Eureka Seven again after seeing the ending... people who missed it the first time get to meet the teen boy who's life sucked to the Moon and back thrice over - and then he meets the girl of his dreams.

And then his life sucks again 'cause pretty much everyone she lives with treats him bad, demeans him, refuses to listen to his ideas, etc.

It also gives me a chance to reexamine the early episodes with Dominic and Jurgens (and later on, Dewey) and pay closer to attention to how they evolved over the course of the series.

Sadly, at this early stage of the series, Renton reminds me of... well, me. Well, the whole 'easily get motion sickness' part.
