It's another new episode of CN's original series, Chowder. The show seems to be doing better and better in the ratings with kids. Hopefully the success will continue for the show.

Lol, So far, I liked the Mahjongg episode. I really thought that Kimchee was going to do more, but at least he did somethings...

Did anyone think that when Chowder was running from the cloud, that it looked like someone in anime? It sort of reminded me of a lot of running scenes (50% of the whole series) in Naruto.

Edit: Nvm, Kimchee does a lot. "Who wants some breakfast????!!! I DO!"

I'd have never figured that Dana Snyder would do a voice in a G-rated cartoon. I hear too much of Aqua Teen-Venture Bros.-Code Monkeys in his characters.

Love-less cuisine? I thought it was all part of the cooking process.

Mahjongg Night:
"Are you a lady?" "If I say yes, can I have one?" XD! That line was great! The scene were the person in the sky was trying to blow Chower off the side of the building was hilarious, and I loved the part where Chower is tied up to the bed and he says "I guess I should go to sleep now huh?" Too bad the eggs he was trying to eat didn't taste as good as he expected.

Stinky Love:
This one was alright. The fart jokes got annoying though.

I found his blog post really enhance my entertainment for this one. Here's the link for those who are interested: http://nerdarmada.blogspot.com/2007/11/mahjongg-night.html

I loved Mahjongg Night. Stinky Love was okay, but the "You will be the first subject of our dark harvest!" line from those love beast things made the episode. Couldn't stop laughing.

I know I haven't seen much of Chowder since its premiere, but is "Mahjongg Night" the first time we see Chowder without a hat?

I think so and IMO he looks better without it.

The Mahjongg Night episode was excellent but Stinky Love was a tad weak.

but is "Mahjongg Night" the first time we see Chowder without a hat?

It sure is and I bet as the series goes on we'll see more of Chowder's undergarments or lack thereof.

He’s been without his hat in two previous episodes, though only for a brief period of time. In “Shnitzel Makes A Deposit”, he takes his hat off in order to put on his wiggy bank. His hat also comes off in “The Cinnamini Monster”, when he was first scared by the monster.

IMO, "Mahjongg Night" was the usual surreal Chowder goodness, but "Stinky Love" was a tad slow.

But then, I wasn't expecting Wuthering Heights from a short focusing on a sentient fart cloud.

Yet another hilarious CHOWDER episode. "Majhongg Night" was os funny i nearly peed my pants!:D I luved the part where Truffles rips half of mung's mustache off. and i luved the the idea of Meviled Eggs! LOL!

OVERALL RATING: 4/5

"stinky love" was an ok episode but not as good as "Mahjong Night". It just did not stick out to me like CHOWDER usully does.

OVERALL RATING: 3/5

Both episodes were funny and solid, but I have to agree with the majority that the first one was better.

A for the whole episode, A and B+ separately.

Heh, like the part from Greenblatt's blog that Truffles is based off his mom. :p

"Mahjongg Night" (3 out of 5): A little light on the jokes, coupled with an 'all that and it wasn't worth the effort' ending for poor Chowder. Truffles being ultra-competitive still rocks, though.

"Stinky Love" (3.5 out of 5): Yes, I have an aversion to fart jokes, so an episode centered around Chowder's sentient pet fart cloud didn't exactly have me wishing for the best. Bit more funnier overall than "Night," though, and it came out with a good ending - a whole lot of baby cobblers!

Line of the Episode:
"Chowder, do you know what tradition means?"
"Is it one of those things where I have to leave the room while you talk about it?"
