New episodes, new songs, and new adventures with a rockin' music teacher and seven talented kids - but have they been naughty or nice?
This Week's Episode: #?? Christmas Special
When Lil' D ends up on Santa's naughty list, he tries to change his behavior in hopes of receiving a popular video-game console for Christmas
Premieres: Tonight, Nov. 30 at 8 pm EST
Repeats: Tonight at 10 pm EST, Sunday at 9 am EST, and probably several other times between now and Christmas
It's been awhile since "Class of 3000" has graced Cartoon Network. For one week only, it airs on Fried Dynamite for the first time, with an hour-long special! Have you decked your halls yet? Do it before Tamika decks yours!
Oh, and in case you care, the special's preceded by new episodes of "Out of Jimmy's Head" and "Chowder." Just wanna put it out there...

Wow.
Sucks that this show comes on while Avatar is on, huh?

I was wondering if they cancelled this or what. It still cracks me up from time to time.

Not a bad special at all. There some some scene that made me laugh quite a bit, especially the global warming joke. The hybird sleigh was funny as well. Too bad they didn't parody the PS3 or Wii instead of the Xbox. Tamika sure had a change of heart though.

It had a premiere episode on the first night of Fried Dynamite, so it's not on Fried Dynamite for the first time. I'm hoping they put it on CN Video. If not, I might not be able to see it.

You and I alike. We should have like 6 eps left, right? Well, anyway, great special, but is it just me, or did the designs seem a little off?

Cartoon Network's been doing well by going 'out of the box' for their Christmas specials. The 'Class of 3000' one here was almost as good as the 'Foster's' one from, I believe, two years ago. I think, once again, having a large, varied cast came to the show's benefit, as each character (to various degrees) had different views of the season. Tamika's a hefty believer of Santa, while Kam isn't despite everything that occurs. Philly Phil wishes for snow; Eddie gives Tamika a dream gift and succeeds in winning her over at last... for a time. While Kim thinks about fashion-conscious gifts, Madison's looking for a sea otter to go with the sea turtle she got last year.
And Lil' D and Sunny - both have beefs with Santa. Sunny's in the past, for screwing up his chance to play the lead in a Christmas pageant; D for doing everything but what would have taken him off Santa's Naughty list... until the end.
Some pretty good jokes throughout... in addition to Madison's pets, the bit about Eddie getting a whole football team instead of a football video game, Santa's environmentally-friendly sleigh, Mrs. Claus and the elves freaking out when Santa's late getting back, and the gang posing as magical reindeer.
Typical 'Class of 3000' humor and music, with an atypical approach to a series' Christmas special. Not bad, kids. Not bad.
"Class of 3000 Christmas Special": 3.5/5.

Saw the encore tonight, and I must say this is probably my favorite episode/special that Class of 3000 has come out with. The plot kept on moving, we saw a variety of different locations (instead of the bland school setting in most episodes), and Tamika finally shows some respect for Eddy - at least for a while.
Though, probably the best part of this special was the music. Instead of the generic background music that's featured in most episodes, we get a remix of jazzed up Chirstmas tunes. And there were three music videos, counting the clip show at the end, which were all pretty decent.
If Class of 3000 is going out, I'm glad it was like this...

I'm not a fan of Class of 3000 but this X-Mas Special turned out surprisingly well for me. I actually liked it and for once, the jokes were actually funny especially the Global Warming joke, that one to me was done extremely well.
