This is the talkback thread for Sam Register Signs Production Deal with WB Animation (http://news.toonzone.net/article.php?ID=20004).

Well, hopefully more WB animated shows will come to CN more. Sam has been involved with some good shows, like Teen Titans and some others that weren't that great. Hopefully, more action shows(superhero or not) will come to CN.

Same here! I'm surprised WB has decided to partner up with someone at Turner's CN for the 1st time ever. I thought Bewkes would prevent that deal from ever being finalized, since he was the sole reason TW has been horribly mistreating Turner for so long!

I liked Teen Titans and Amiyumi. So, this should be interesting.

As long as Renegade Animation's not a part of the deal... it's fine by me.

I hope this deal succeeds, otherwise Turner will be treated like the bastard stepchild of TW's corporate family again.

By the way, I think Jeff Harris would be as surprised as much as I was to hear of this article about the new deal b/w WB Animation and CN!

Wow, WB Animation and Sam Register, cool. I like him.

It's too early to predict what changes (if any) that this could mean for the channel, but any move that could conceivably bring more animated programming to CN can't be bad.

Again? It still is.

Well I don't much like Register overall but he was always cartoon centric so something good might come out of this deal.

Let's all pray this puts an end to CN's live-action fetish.

Echoing what was said above, while I'm not a huge fan of Sam Register's works or contributions, the man has always focused on animation, so he may be just what's needed to keep cartoons on Cartoon Network.

I really wish they'd bring back Teen Titans. I know the chances of that are about -0, but I really loved that show.

This sounds good, I do like the cartoons he's been involved with but will this necessarily be a good thing.
