C&C - Blood+ - "The World Where We Exist" [11/25]

Don't know why, but Mugen hasn't had a talkback for the 34th episode of Blood+ airing tonight at 12:30AM (The second episode of the England arc I believe). It's the return of Saya and the brief return of me doing a Blood+ talkback (did one awhile back when Mugen missed it). So anyway here's the talkback.

SYNOPSIS:
Saya has returned and her year long absence wasn’t wasted. She easily kills 2 Chiropterans, but collapses shortly after. Kai and Lewis take her back to Gray’s to rest up. After being around her for a short period, Kai realizes this is not the Saya he once knew. What happened to Saya over her year long absence?

Just a couple guesses but:
From what everyone else is saying, Diva must've absorbed Riku's life force or whatever, hence the look.
However, I was first under the impression that that's someone else who looks like a cross between Diva and Riku, such as, you know...:evil: :evil: :evil: (if advanced aging is possible for chiropterans)

And it looks like Collins is going crazy too.

Yeah, I'm luvin' this! Saya's transformation into an emotionless warrior is such a major shift from what she was before. I like the now estranged relationship she has with Kai now--before Riku's death she was trying hard to reach out to him and now she wants nothing to do with him (for his own protection, maybe, hmm?).

As far as Diva, taking on Riku's appearance is simply being cruel beyond cruel.
She. Must. Die!

Well Saya's back and she's... pretty non emotional. Obviously in the year she's been away from Kai and the others (besides Haji) she just became devoted to killing Choroprians and not letting anything get in the way of that. Either that's her way of dealing with grief or something happened to her that we need to see. I mean either way we need a flashback of what happeend between her and Diva on the ship. Okay obvious they didn't kill each other or anything but still I want to know just how that fight ended more then ever. I did like the action scenes in this one (Saya may be emotionless but she can kick more Chorporitan tail. I espically liked taking one out and then letting it die while it was trying to grab her) and the end with Diva, but a bit more bland then I was expecting. I guess at this point the insight on the convos with Saya and Kai (and even David and Haji) don't mean terribly too much (besides David sort of getting back into it) but I still feel like we deserved more answers about what happened during the year then we were giving. Well maybe we'll get that next week with Saya and Haji going after Diva (who looks like Riku for some proably to be explained reason) at the oprea or something. Till then decent anyway.

I'd hire therapist Hagi, too. Seems like he'd be a calm and patient listener. (and easy on the eyes)

I think he's been trying to help Saya all along.
