No Dorian Report here, just an update:
Up At Cartoon Network
Besides Disney, yesterday I also strolled through Cartoon Network ...
Not a whole lot going on at Cartoon Network. The Foster's flash animation crew is on hiatus ...
Some of the Class of 3000 crew is working on a Christmas Special (I got to see some Dan Haskett pencil animation combined with flash ... looked good.) ... A small group was celebrating Chowder's successful premiere as the flyer/press release said:
Almost 4 million different viewers ... tuned into at least one of the four plays of "Chowder" Friday night ... The 8 p.m. premiere episode was the highest rated program of the day on Cartoon Network with K6-11 with a 4.3 rating and a delivery of 895,000. So far, the 8 p.m. telecast is the highest rated telecast of the week on Cartoon Network with K6-11 and B6-11 ...
This was glad tidings for me. I haven't seen the show, but anytime animation does well, I'm happy about it. We're a market-driven industry, and we want all the market oomph we can get.

Do you know if they finished the 6th season or not?

If I had to guess, I'd say they were taking a break between seasons.

That's not the same as a hiatus.

Jeff Harris reported on this very forum that Class of 3000 was canceled. So why is CN going to air a Christmas special based on a recently canceled show?

That's what I was wondering as well. But assuming it still is cancelled, it's good that the fans get to see this show again, since people say it was good (I didn't like it at all really:p but I do actually have new found respect for it since it was an original show). So I heard that it never did too bad with ratings, and people were confused why it got cancelled, so again it's good to see the fans get some closure.;)

Nick did the same with Invader Zim five years ago, so I'd probably agree there.

Probably it was only included in the epsidoe order
I know I shouldn't doubt Jeff Harris, but where did he find this information that 3000 was cancelled?

I'm glad that Chowder is getting good ratings

Here's a good guess. They already finished it so why not play it during the Holidays and get some extra cash while they're at it.

Maybe because they hope guest stars like Fergie can drive people to actually watch it and keep it on the air to give it a last chance b4 cancellation

Do you work on the Animation Guild Blog? Because that sounds exactly what was written on their site a while back.

Johnny boy doesn't like crediting his sources so it makes it sound like he's the one with the news and not stealing it from other places.
A real reporter wouldn't be so weak as to do this

Sorry, but I forgot to paste all of the news. I had to go somewhere and I've must have pushed the button accidentally.
